She passed away at 1am on January 1st.
Her wake is tonight and the funeral is tomorrow morning.

I'm going to miss her so much. I had a panic attack on the 31st when I saw her, because I could tell that her spirit was no longer with her body, and that she was dying. They were going to take the life support off at 11am on the 1st, but she went on her own. I am a little numb right now and I'm trying not to think of her as dead, but rather as not suffering anymore and in heaven. So I've stopped crying buckets. But I'm scared to see her...in the coffin. I'm afraid I'll have another panic attack. .__.;;

Kitami: *hugs* I hope you survived the funeral somehow D: it's is hard to lose someone in the family..I lost my grandma a year ago, but it still seems like it happened last month..I didn't even know her that well..but I guess I understood how much she meant to me when she was actually gone. Which is pretty sad .__.

I'm alright. I cried a LOT but I didn't have any panic attacks, so I suppose that's good. :sweat: I almost had one when I saw her body, but someone had enough sense to get me away from her (I didn't want to go away on my own, because if everyone else could look at her I felt like I had to be strong enough to do it too)
I had a huge bouquet of flowers, and my cousins laid it on her chest for me, and its buried with her now. ._.

After we left the funeral, we went to the graveside services, and since I dressed stupidly (I refused to wear jeans because I didn't think it was appropriate, and since I didn't have any slacks, I wore a skirt and stockings and dress shoes. The skirt was really long and thick velvet, but It was like extremely cold and I was standing past my ankles in ice and snow, which soaked through the stockings and got in the shoes.) I now have a bad cough and cold. -_-
