Thanks! I don't like midterms, but at least it's another test grade. Hopefully I do well enough that I don't have to drop the class.

*raises hand* Next week I start midterms and the first two weeks of November I have IB exams. All while everyone else is having the longest holiday bridge (5-day long holiday, imagine the possibilities!) and enjoying vacations :cry:

Yeah, whoever scheduled the IB exams was a total sonnovabetch, because Math is the last exam of the first week, which is the busiest! I have to study for three other exams and the hardest one is after them, as if expecting we don't have enough time for the most freakin' hardcoricly difficult and brain-melting exam and making the diploma people fail. Not only that, but the exam after Math is English, which not only I find fairly easy, but it is scheduled for a wednesday, so you have FOUR days to study for it, and not just some scarce hours!

Maybe that person knows me and wants me to end bald and looking void of sanity? :drool:

Yeah, well, I guess there's no fighting against it :| Such is life. Other than that it's wonderful. I finished social work, I have tickets to see Edward Moss, and my mom made colada morada. Also Halloween falls on a sunday, so no school that day! Which I wouldn't have been able to say had it been a saturday :sweat:

Hmm, I feel like I should be doing homework, but at the same time I don't want to... :|

Edward Moss is suposedly the best Michael Jackson impersonator :ninja: He could have used more dancers though, he only had 2 :roll:

I didn't go, because it was 45 minutes away and I had no costume. I just had a really hectic week and I didn't have time. I did paint a pumpkin though! It has instruments and glitter on it.

Oh I see, Kah. At least Michael's spirit lives on in other musicians and dancers. XD
He better be a freaking AMAZING dancer if he's trying to out-do Michael...
did u have a good halloween?

That's cool fairy. That's more decorating than what I did this yr... I was just really lazy.
I noticed most people didn't have costumes yesterday... a lot of people just wandering around at bars.
And since, I went to San francisco, it was mostly people wearing orange and Giants shirts, while partying in the streets...
I think people around here care more about baseball than halloween. XD haha too bad

I guess that happens when you get older? I painted it for a school contest. It won second place, but there was no prize. First place went to a sports themed one, so there's that again. I didn't really pay attention to what teams.

Yeah, probably. That's lame, there should have been a prize for 2nd and 3rd place too.

Yeah. Oh well. I'm just happy people liked it. I'm pretty sure the prize was a certificate of achievement anyways. So whatever.

I didn't do anything for Halloween. I was driven crazy by the Halloween themesong, went outside to escape, and then watched a nut chase after some little girls with a chainsaw, and then watched two cops chase after him. XD;

Mm, probably Fairy... Oh by the way, I'm still working on your art from my freebie art thread.

Haha that's awesome Christa! XD Where the chainsaw guys from a haunted house or where they just berserkers trying to scare kids? Lol// and the addition of cops is always a total laugh! Good times. Why didn't u go trick or treating? candy is always a plus...

-Enters through an open window- Greetings Thoth Star. I've actually been waiting for some time to meet you. I have a hangout for Androgynes and those against sterotypical Gender Roles. Our topic is obviously gender and not sexuality, but for those who do want to talk about sexuality I linked to your thread some time back in my first post.

I was wondering if you could return the linkage favour. If not, it's not the end of the world. But we are both encouraging people to free their minds and explore the previous social repressions.

Crow:: I'm happy you finally got to meet Gabriel! :D
How are you doing?

Gabby:: They were just nutters scaring children. The cops going after them was funny though. :lol:
I didn't do anything because my plans with friends got totally fucked up. I was supposed to go to a party with this one girl, but then she decided she'd rather spend the night with her 15-yr-old boyfriend than with me :roll:, then I was going to go to this other party with this other girl but then SHE found out she was pregnant, so that went up in smoke, and my other friend was taking her baby trick or treating, so that was a no-go. :headdesk: Nicholas wanted me to go to a party at his church, but I would have been totally uncomfortable around those people especially since I only kinda know like 4 of them... so then the icing on the cake was that I took back my costume so we could have food. :sweat: So I just read a vampire book and handed out candy in a feather boa (they wouldn't take that back for some reason...)

That sounds like an awesome thread, Crow and thanks for linking my thread. 8)
I like the idea of a club against stereotypes and gender roles.
Currently I don't have a link post on my front page, but I guess I could add one... its a good idea.

That really sucks Christa that all your friends were too busy. I guess if you were to find out you are pregnant, the first thing on your mind might not be partying. XD lol// Aww, you didn't get to party at all on halloween? I don't like handing out candy, plus, we don't even get kids in this neighborhood... my apartment is too far away from streets where families live. This yr I just went to San Francisco for Halloween but most of the parties were celebrating the Giants victory in the world tournament... but I dont' care for baseball, so that sucked.

Well all my friends now are mothers or fathers, are getting married, are pregnant, or have recently found out they are pregnant, so I like never get to do anything anymore. I'm kinda feeling left out of the loop in a weird way. :stare:
No not a single party, but I'm making up for it next week. I'm having an alcoholic sleepover! :squee:

I didn't think there'd be many kids here either because like, I never see children (or oddly enough, birds) in this freaking hillbilly town, but on Halloween they kinda piled out of nowhere, we were out of candy in like 20 minutes. O_o;

Wow, how old are most of your friends? It seems way too early to be starting a family...I guess I prefer getting a college education and than a good career before I will ever start a family. You need a stable household. It is a weird loop, the ones who settle down early and get pregnant, and the other people that are more career-motivated. Personally, I don't see myself ever getting married and settling down, but I suppose anything is possible. Alcoholic sleepover sounds fun... so will you be mostly watching movies? and playing games? This weekend I didn't party, because I've been too swamped in hw.

That's hilarious... And unfortunate for the late kids who don't get candy. I'd probably be like "happy halloween! here's a pencil kid. 8D" and the kid would be like "wtf?? CANDY!"
