I still haven't really got over the fact that I'LL be 20 in 16 days. :O
Anyway, that's how I see it too. I don't think I ever want to get married, but I do want a baby someday. But I want to have a career and some money saved before then so I can take care of my kid properly, you know?

Alcoholic sleepover will be fun. We've been best friends since we were 13, so that + alcohol + weed (more than likely lol) + movies will be a fun time. XD;

After we ran out of candy, we just put the 'BEWARE OF DOG' sign back out, turned out the outdoor lights, and left that creepy music playing jack-o-lantern on the porch. No more kids showed up. :D

Wow, teens and early 20's is waaay too young to get married... Than again, maybe I only think that cuz I live in Cali. and people don't get married here until 30's. 20 is a good age to be~!! *huggles* ^^
Exactly, its better to have some income before you bring a child into the world... because some people have children, but they don't have enough money to afford one, and than they end up on welfare and on food stamps and SSI... and than it becomes expensive for the state to take care of all of these families that don't have a stable income.

I'm the same way... I still listen to music on my cd player and I get confused when I try to download music on to my mp3 player. haha. Also< I don't own a cell phone and EVERYONE does at my college, which makes me feel old-fashion.

Wow, your life has just begun Christa! Why get forced into a relationship (like marriage) when there's sooo much you can do!!! Like travel, and study and have interesting jobs and meet cool people! But yeah...really the reason I feel old isn't so much my actual age, its that all my friends are this age too and they all are getting married or pregnant or engaged, so I've started weirding out about my age because like, if they're so grown up (for lack of better words lol) when we're twenty, do I seem totally freakish to them when I don't want to ever do the marriage thing really, and don't want to have a kid until a long time from now? :o
Also 20 is significant to me that makes me feel old because my grandma that I never knew, my dad's biological mom, died when she was 26. For some reason I keep thinking about those numbers. :/

No! I don't want to get married, whether I'm 20 or 30. Marriage scares me. I don't want a freaking contract tying me into a relationship when the contract states that I'm supposed to "honor and obey" some man. Screw that, I don't obey anyone but myself. o_o; I think I told you that a long long time ago. :lol: I think marriage is an outdated religious tradition, and I don't think it ever really works out. I've never seen a marriage "work" even with my grandparents- my grandpa is abusive to varying degrees and my nana is still like a privileged slave, and they've been together for over half a century. So its not like it gets better with time or something. Plus, yeah, boring is a good describing word too lol.

Gracie is a scary dog. I mean, she's a total spoiled lovable baby, but I think she would attempt to eat a stranger, especially if she thinks the stranger might be a threat to her family. >_>;; And she doesn't want to get to know new people either.

I'm twenty right now, and I have moments where I feel old too. But getting married? No way! Not until I'm out of school. Which won't be for years yet. I'll be 26 at least before I get out of school. I'm just going to enjoy being young. :)

Well, I don't know how your other Friends look at it Christa... but here in California, its absolutely FREAKISH to get pregnant and married at that young of an age. Of course, our states are total opposites, but just saying. And I think you should feel pressured to get pregnant/married just because most of your friends are doing it and I think your friends should respect your right to be an independent woman!!! Right?

I don't look at marriage as a contract saying you must obey the other person... I look at it as Equal Grounds. basically the man should support and love the wife and the wife should support and love the man... If there's no love, than there's no reason for marriage.
