Ok, that is probably your problem. You just need to type and it should work. If you are still having problems after that, it may be the url has multiple images associated with it. Then the best thing to do right click the image you want, select 'copy image location' from the menu, and then paste that.

And I am relatively new to this thread as well, but I believe you can talk about very much anything you like. Fairy and I were just going on about choir experiences on this page and the last...

Hmm..I'm no choir person. I do sing. Albeit I need practice before I can ever sing well, but I have no idea the life of a choir person unless we want to count fifth grade experieces.

Well, choir was actually just one of my classes in high school. We did go to presentations in the region, though.
I'm terribly out of practice as well.

GOP takes another shot at gay marriage amendment - 13 WTHR

AAAAAAARGH! I'm finally getting the courage to ask her to marry me and the GOP says "we're going to put a failsafe on our already anti-equality policy to make sure that you can't do that here!"

I'm so totally moving.

Hey I'm new here (and to Menewsha for that matter), and I always like threads like this in forum groups.
A whole lot of things have been going wrong equality wise since November, its really sad. States that already have marriage equality are trying to get rid of it, I don't know where you are from Hyena, but I know Iowa is one of the states that is trying to reverse the decision. I think it's pretty safe on the east coast for right now though.

Awww.... really? That's super-lame. DDDDD=

Found the article: Terry Branstad Says Iowa Supreme Court Erred In Legalizing Gay Marriage | On Top Magazine :: Gay & Lesbian News, Entertainment, Commentary & Travel

AAAAAUGH! But he's just the governor, and that doesn't mean anything as far as overturning laws. All he can really do is suggest that they appeal it. Then Legislature passes it to the Court and they decide. So there's still a very strong chance that the overturn won't pass. Plus, its to the benefit of citizens of Iowa that they not overturn it. Not just from an equality standpoint, but from an economical perspective.

I live in Indiana. We stopped allowing domestic partnerships in 1972, and they're kind of reinforcing their stance on gay marriage. with this amendment. >_____>

By the way, welcome to Menewsha. xD

Thanks for that very depressing information. I'm sorry that they don't allow you to marry in Indiana. If you are getting ready to ask your girlfriend to marry you, you should think about traveling to a state that is not challenging gay marriage, or perhaps making a trip up to Canada.

I don't understand why gay marriage isn't legal in Washington State, while bestiality in one form or another is. Really guys, really? And yet Seattle is one of the most gay friendly cities in the country. Go figure.

We've been talking about permanently moving to Oregon. They recognize domestic partnerships, and its not that hard to travel from Oregon to Canada. Or, if Prop 8 gets overturned, an even shorter drive to California. I just need to get out to a coastal state. The Midwest is doing nothing for me.

I hear that. I don't like being landlocked. And then there are the cultural differences as well.

Huge cultural differences! I can't wait to see what the people are like in Oregon. It will add some perspective to my study on Walmart Culture... because I'll probably continue to work at one while I'm there. As much as I hate Wally World, a job is a job. xD

Well, I've only ever been to one walmart, and it happened to be in Oregon. It was a very depressing experience.

I enjoyed the time that I have spent on the West Coast, but I've only been to San Francisco, which is also another very gay-friendly city, in fact was one of the first places that I saw a large amount of visibly lgbt people not at University in a lgbt club setting.
Some Walmarts are better than others. I happen to go to Walmart a lot, its inexpensive and for a lot of the things that I get there, the quality is good enough for me: a dvd is a dvd, a book is a book, you know?

Walmarts are always depressing, regardless of where you go. xD

Green: I don't think I could live in SanFran. I would be overstimulated all the time. @[email protected]

First time I ever saw a gay couple was when I was doing missionary work in Canada. We were there to help the homeless, and they gave us a tour of Toronto. They took us onto Church Street and said "this is the gay district, where runnaway teenagers are often solicited for sex." And then I saw a pair of middle-aged men, wearing matching pastel sweaters, and holding hands. If I'd said what I was thinking, which was "d'aaaaaw," I think that our tour guide would have just left me there with no way to get back to the church. >______>

Just don't buy CD's at Walmart. They censor them. =____=

While I enjoyed visiting San Francisco, I also couldn't live there, I don't think that my partner would appreciate my eye wandering that much.
I also know that the cds are censored at Walmart...even ones that aren't explicit so I'm not sure why that they are being censored. I had a longer post typed out, but I xed out of the browser by mistake and don't remember where I was going with it. :(

Big cities scare me and I wilt in hot weather. California is pretty much out. xD

Walmart does a lot of things that anger me, but I understand why. To make sure things are as cheap as they can possibly be, they have to make some major cuts. And often times that includes things like... paying the bare minimum to employees.

Apparently they censor everything so that they can claim to be a 'family friendly' establishment. Someone probably complained once and that set the tone for all foul language. -eyeroll-

I live in New England and I hate snow...I'd much rather move to somewhere warmer like California. It's actually not as hot in San Francisco as other places in California, it is one of the rare cities that is generally cooler than the surrounding area instead of warmer. I remember actually feeling chilly one morning walking back to the house I was staying at that week.
I suppose all that about Walmart makes sense and if it bothered me enough, I would shop somewhere else.
