Coincidentally, regular milk has more estrogen in it than soy. Testosterone does not dictate penis size or sexual health in men. Someone who is estrogen-heavy does not portray traits of a girl, and when someone is on an estrogen upswing it is indicative of a 'good mood' more than a need to go shopping. But in later installations of the article, the author raves about the benefits of real milk versus soy milk, real beef versus tofu. The sources that he cites are not easily found, and therefore brought into question.

My approach was meant to be indicative of the same kind of mindset that wrote the article. -nods-
Though I must admit, I look a bit askance at the great love of shoes that some women have.

My roommates have more shoes than anyone I know. However, there is psychology behind that. When people meet, one of the first things they take into consideration is their footwear. If a person is wearing ratty old sneakers, people read that as someone who doesn't care about first impressions and generally doesn't take care of their personal belongings. Clean, nice shoes, on the other hand, are indicative of a person who likes to make a good first impression. Shoes make an outfit, almost infallibly.

However, I have four pairs of shoes: work shoes, dress shoes, a pair of high-tops (they're my dance shoes), and some ballet flats. That's all I really need for now. All of my attention goes towards hats. While shoes make the outfit, a had will make it memorable. As well as offset my tiny, tiny head.

For me, everything must work in harmony.* That makes a bigger statement, if you ask me. Though hats will always top shoes.

I like how people are trying to figure out what causes homosexuality and bypassing the extreme obvious answers: probability, anthropology, population.

That's definitely better than this one I found, but don't remember where, about this set of tableware of which the red set had a component that made kids who ate from then gay over time... yet didn't explain why it didn't cause dykes ;)

I like how people try to find all these reasons and explanations for why men are gay, but a lot of people gloss over gay women. Or ignore them. Or treat them as an entertainment device for men. :roll:

Well, see, I don't know how true this is of India, but it is common practice in that part of the world to honor the son over the daughter, and if a family wants a son and is granted a daughter, the daughter is disposed of. So perhaps the issue isn't that there are less women being born and more that less women are surviving puberty.

The issue addressed in the article isn't the number of lesbians as much as it is the declining birthrate of female children. He 'fears' that with the way things are going there may be a chance that the populations of India may need to become gay in order to stay sane.
