These are two of my favorite characters. They're only teenagers, but they're both so sweet and pretty.

Al, the one in the red sweater is a Dominant Flesh-Eater demon...his adoptive brother (they were both taken in by the same woman) is Bijou. Bijou is part Mindstalker demon, which is a race I created one sleepless night, and part Nacken, which is a sort of water spirit. Hence the frills and the colorful scales.

And GOOD LORD was it ever a b*tch to do those frills and scales.

This is Izzy, the woman who adopted those two boys actually. Izzy is a wraith in the service of Uriel, the angel of death. She goes about killing the wicked people that he assigns her to.

She's also my alter-ego.

Here she's sitting on her own tombstone, contemplating some of the things in her past. The lyrics beside her are from A Perfect Circle's song "Judith". It's a reference to her sister, Ariadne, who is her complete opposite. In some ways, Izzy wishes she could be like Ariadne but knows that she can't ever be and wouldn't want to be.

Now, before you start on her anatomy, particularly her face, I forewarn you; This is how she is built!

Izzy is very tall and lean and her features are thin as well, lending her a snake-like quality. She is meant to look that way. Also, there's nothing wrong with her lips, aside from the fact that she has two lip rings and one just under her bottom lip. Izzy has an outrageous number of tattoos and piercings. She's also undead technically and despite being so thin prior to her murder and resurrection, she has since the time of her re-awakening gotten even thinner and longer and less natural looking.

It's probably all that damned snake venom she drinks....

So this is Anjie and Jynx, getting cuddly in their panties in Anjie's greenhouse bedroom.

I purposefully left out the PLETHORA of plants and vines and what not because I didn't want to draw attention away from the pair of them.

Anjie is mine.
Jynx belongs to my fiance'.

Every now and then you do something and then like...oh...SIX YEARS later remember you did it and redo it, because the old versions aren't around anymore...

Unfortunately TO MY HORROR the old versions of these ARE still around. -shudders-

And now for something less horrific. I went to see Rise of the Lycans. And I fell in love with the Underworld universe ALL over again.


So here's Lucian and Sonja on a Bunnystick base...this has a background because it looks so damned dumb without one.

I actually wrote a -ahem- rather graphic little fiction shortly after completing this....anyone who wants to read it...send me a PM.

There is a wonderful feeling that exudes from your drawings.

It has a kind of whimsical, real-life magic feeling. I don't know how to explain it, but your stuff is full of life and feeling and it makes me smile.

Thank you so much Sanctuary. My mother is writing a book in her spare time as well, (and being disable and unable to work, she has a lot of it) she wants me to do the illustrations simply because of the way the eyes of the people in my artwork come out. She claims that even when they're completely buggered anatomy wise and what-not that their eyes always have emotion.

Being the artist, I tend to be my own toughest critic and just kind of smile and say "Whatever you say Mum." But I'm glad someone else other than my mother feels that way and I'm glad it makes you smile! That's all I really ever set out to do. If I can make just one person's life a little bit brighter, I've done my job.
