The elf paused for a second, almost a bit surprised by Link's enthusiasm and encouragement over everything that'd been happening. "It wouldn't be gone without you, Link," Seh'ethil said, not wanting to take sole credit for it. "Are you?" He added, responding to Link asking if he was alright.
Before Seh'ethil could hear any response, the large wolf was once again leaping towards them. As if reflex, the elf grabbed out one of his arrows, aiming it towards him just incase. He hadn't had any time to put it to use before Link managed to deal with the fearsome wolf.
Seh'ethil untensed himself when the pack left, put his arrow back and placed his bow around his back. He moved closer to Link, trying to confirm he wasn't hurt, and was somewhat relieved when it was clear he was only tired from fighting the powerful wolf. The elf had vaguely seen the damage done to Link's sword, and wondered if that's not why they were leaving to the mountains in the morn.
"It's going to smell of the stench of wolf blood around here, Link. Are you sure nothing else will come for it?" Seh'ethil asked. So far, he trusted Link's judgement, but the scent in his nose forced him to question, even if only by a bit.
When they reached their camp place once again, the young elf began to make himself comfortable again in his made bed. After all that had happened, Seh'ethil would rest a bit more lightly, but would also be quick to fall asleep, as he was quite tired. "Until tomorrow then..."

"I assure you, we won't be seeing those wolves near us ever again after such a situation." When he knew Seh'ethil was asleep he wandered off to explore the forest, to find an early breakfast and fresh water for his sleepy friend. After an hour or so he found and killed a rabbit big enough to feed at least one and he filled a bottle with fresh water. On his way back to camp he saw a tree filled with apples, he gave it a sharp kick and a few fell to the ground. He picked them up and put them in a bag on his side belt, by the time he got back the sun was starting to rise.
He began skinning and preparing the rabbit, soon he was setting up a spit for it over the fire to cook it. An hour later the sun was up and shining, birds were starting to wake up and chirp happily. The rabbit was soon fully cooked and he set up a place to eat for his friend, he then laid back on a rock and waited for Seh'ethil to wake up.

Seh'ethil opened his eyes to be faced with rather blurry vision, taking a second to become accustom to the sunshine that streamed down through the trees branches. The previous night had passed like a strange dream, in comparison to the bright colors that faced him this morning, and the kind sounds, smells. The elf sat up with a stretch and a yawn, shaking stray leaves from his hair that had been tangled in, in his sleep. Out of habit, he checked everything on himself over, to ensure nothing was missing, and re-equip his weapon and makeshift quiver.
"Link?" He asked, curious. Despite a hint of doubt in Seh'ethil's tone, his voice was quite strong. If it wasn't for the pleasant smell of what had been cooking, he would have half assumed Link to have left him overnight. After all, he had been holding him back.
When Seh'ethil saw the cooked rabbit, he almost assumed it to be Links. Of course, there was always that reminder that Link didn't eat. The elf wasn't sure of the thought of anyone cooking for him, so he also had to question if Midna ate. He sat down by the prepared meal, but refrained from touching it, just in case.

"I caught it and cooked it for you my friend, enjoy it while its still hot." He had his eyes covered up by his hat so he could relax without having the sun bother him. "Here, you can use my dagger if you need to cut it" he grabbed one and he handed it to Seh'ethil without leaving his spot.
"We'll need to get moving soon, but don't try to eat fast, take your time and enjoy this last visit to the forest. I don't know about you but I never look back to places I've visited."

Seh'ethil looked, at first, confused at best. However, his expression quickly changed as he couldn't hold back a small smile. "Thanks, Link..." He said, sheepishly. The elf was never fond of actually thanking people, even if he did owe them his gratitude. He hadn't wanted to be impolite, but had to deny the offered dagger, not wanting to dirty it. Instead, the elf pulled a small knife from his outfit - not worthy of a weapon but fine for the use of cutting and small handy work.
The rabbit looked good and tasted better, and although Seh'ethil wanted to respect and savoir the meal, he ate quickly, even if Link had told him he had time to enjoy it. Finishing, he began to clean up after himself, as well as scatter trace of the campsite, helping hide that they'd been here. However, anyone with half a nose could probably pick up on the scent, the elf was still cautious. He waited before putting out the fire for comfort, til they were completely ready to leave. "This forest is beautiful, Link. But I don't hold much sentiment to where I am.."
"How far are the mountains, you spoke of?" Seh'ethil asked, assuming they should be off in order to save lost time - he hadn't wanted to hold Link up any further, and was ready to leave whenever he was.

"I can see the top of the mountain from here, but its still a bit far, don't worry, we'll be at the village by noon, if we run." He put his dagger back in his side belt and began to run toward the exit of the forest, the tress were rather tall, which makes the mountain even higher. In the middle of his running he looked to the right and spotted Maseinko with his wolf pack hiding behind the trees, Link stopped, skidding across the grass and tearing it up. The dominant female walked over to Maseinko's side with some small and furry puppies following behind, barking and pouncing on eachother.
He couldn't help but smile, it was like they wanted to thank Seh'ethil and him for saving their home. He waved goodbye to them, "come on Seh'ethil, better keep moving" he looked back to see Maseinko leaving deeper into the forest with his family behind him, soon they were out of sight. Link continued running towards the mountain.

Seh'ethil nodded his head, running after him. The elf hadn't needed to come to the abrupt stop Link did when he saw the wolves, but he did slow down, a bit startled. When he realized everything was in good nature, he grinned. It was a nice feeling, to see the pack happy, and also quite relieving that they weren't attacking, this time.
"You'll always be a hero, won't you, Link?" Seh'ethil commented, almost talking to himself if anyone. He thought back to Link's story of his past, and even after all of that, Link still helped people; both the wolves and Seh'ethil had already been saved by him. The elf peered forward towards their destination. Even before arrival the mountainous terrain felt familiar - not because the elf had been there before, but because the similarity towards places he'd been previous.
"You know someone in the mountains?" Seh'ethil asked, assuming their trip there was not just of random choice.

"I've never been this far before, but I can tell there is life just beyond this mountain, hopefully a blacksmith as well that will repair my sword. If this land is so healthy here with the lush forestry it must be just as good on the other side." He began to climb up, trying to find his footing, the mountain was steep so it was hard to get up for there was nothing to hold on to and he kept falling down. "Hey Midna, could you give us a hand?" He asked as he got up off the ground from one of his many stumbles.
"You got it!" She said as she appeared from Link's shadow. Her hair turned into a hand which cast a beam of magic at Link and then to Seh'ethil, soon they both started to float with the help of her magic. She helped them float up to the very top.
They had a clear view of a village, people were walking around and farmers were selling their fresh vegetables and livestock. One building had a chimney with black smoke coming from it, Link knew instantly it was a blacksmith. "Thanks Midna, we can get down from here now."
"Very well" she let them both down gently, "don't hesitate to ask for help next time." She faded away and Link's shadow was back underneath him once more.
"Lets go" Link jumped from the top and landed on a large boulder, but it was loose and it started to roll down the mountain. "Whoa! I can't stop!" Link was running the opposite way that the rock was rolling down the mountain, it helped him get down to the bottom faster though. Soon the boulder hit the ground and he flew through the air, then he landed in a bush unharmed, after he got over the shock he began to laugh. He got out of the bush, brushing off any leaves on his back and head. "Come on Seh'ethil! Its fun! Try it!" He yelled as loud as he could so Seh'ethil would hear him.

"I'm sure there will be!" He commented, trying not to laugh a bit as he watched Link attempt to climb the mountain, but knowing he would probably not achieve any better results himself. Seh'ethil was impressed by Midna's power, both her and Link certainly had a few tricks up their sleeves. He gave Midna a wide smile, as if to say thanks for lifting them.
Seh'ethil took a few moments to take in the village, their view was certainly a bit breath taking. It took a second for him to notice Link taking the boulder down the steep edge, and when he looked down to realize he was okay, he couldn't help but join in laughing from up there - it was a bit of a humorous sight.
"Are you kidding?" The elf shouted back, fighting off his remaining laughter. Although at first Seh'ethil wanted to protest it, without giving the idea much of a second thought, he decided to jump down himself. He definately didn't feel his balancing act was quite as good as he tried to make it down on a misshapened boulder, falling off before hitting the bottom. Seh'ethil looked a bit shocked, slipping down the rest of the way on his backside. When he reached down to the village where Link was, he simply sat there in the dirt, and then started laughing again.
"I don't think that's how you get down a mountain, Link!" Seh'ethil said, between bursts of laughter.

"Well, think of it as a new way to" he tried holding back his laughter and calmed down a little bit. He helped Seh'ethil up and continued walking toward the village, it was a lively place, the sound of children playing and laughing along with the hustle and bustle of people could be heard everywhere. "Now wheres that blacksmith..." he said to himself, soon a little boy ran over to Link and tugged on his cape, "mister, do you have any money for food? My sister and I are hungry..."
Link was rather shocked, this was the first time kids actually came up to him not afraid of his appearance. He reached into his side belt bag and grabbed the last two apples he saved from that morning and gave them to the little boy. "I don't need these, share one with your sister, ok?" The boy's mother shouted and ran over to get her son, "get away from him you monster!" Everyone stared at Link, some people gasped and some were just paralyzed with fear. He was used to this so it didn't upset him at all, the little boy looked at Link and whispered to him, "I'm sorry..."
"Have a good day kid, ma'am," he covered his face with his handkerchief and continued walking toward the blacksmith. Everyone was still staring at him, but soon they got over it and continued their day. Soon Link was in sight of the blacksmith's house, you could hear the hammer banging against the new blade made from very hot and strong metals. "Excuse me... I need my sword repaired."
"Hmm?" The blacksmith turned his head toward Link, he was a bald man with a brown mustache. "Where is this blade that needs repairs?" He asked as he dipped the newly formed blade in water, releasing a brilliant cloud of steam.

Seh'ethil smiled, trying to get the dirt off of his outfit after Link had helped him up. The village seemed like such a happy little place, that is, until the young boy approached Link. It was sad to realize the poverty, even in what seemed like such a prosperous village.
The elf furrowed his brow as the woman made such a hostile remark in Link's direction. He had wanted to stand up for him, but knew that would have been out of place. He was further surprised that Link continued to respond to them politely, even after all of that. Seh'ethil touched Link's arm lightly as if to offer some form of reassurance. "If only they took the time to realize how nice you are.."
When they reached the blacksmith, Seh'ethil strayed a bit from Link, looking at the shop's wares. "Link..." He said almost softly, not wanting to interrupt his deal with the blacksmith, "Would you come see the village after?"
The elf hoped this wasn't too weird of a request. Of course, he could go look around on his own, had he wanted. And Seh'ethil realized that it might have been slightly awkward, with how the villagers were treating Link. Yet, he wanted his friend to see everything with him.

"I'll try I guess..." He handed his sword to the blacksmith and he looked at it with amazement, "might fine sword kid, how'd you come across such a thing?" Link didn't answer, but the blacksmith didn't really care, he observed the blade some more, "this is a large crack, it will take me a while, in the meantime go tour the village, we'll discuss payment later." He detached the blade from the sword handle and put it in the fireplace to heat it up. "Thank you sir," Link finally responded, "lets go Seh'ethil, you can lead the way if you like."

Seh'ethil nodded as they left the smithery. The elf then took a quick glance around, deciding where he'd like to go first, or moreso, where he'd like to drag Link to. At first, his main choices really revolved around the village, thinking of viewing the buildings, housing, or stopping by one of the small merchants. The elf saw what looked to be a game house, and also considered there.
But, although these were all things he wouldn't have minded seeing or doing, something more simple caught his eye for the time being.
The elven archer walked towards his destination without announcing where it was, assuming Link would follow. His eyes were set on a small spring pond that laid in one of the corners. "There are fish!" Seh'ethil exclaimed, as if such a thing wasn't common. The elf kneeled over the corner of the spring, reaching his hands in, swiping at the water as if to pretend he was snatching one of the smaller fish up. When Seh'ethil leaned up from over the water's edge, he had his hands cupped together with water inside, to make it look as if he was holding a fish in them. Of course, it was just water, but he hoped it looked otherwise.
"Look what I caught," He said, turning back to Link, holding up his cupped together hands, and expecting Link to look, as if there would be a tiny fish. If he did look, Seh'ethil planned to squirt him with the water. It was a more or less childish trick, but he was feeling light hearted for the moment.

Link raised his eyebrow, he walked over and looked curiously, "don't grab the fish, just let them swim." What Seh'ethil didn't know was he was well aware of his silly prank, he was playing along. He had prepared the bottle of water from that morning behind his back to splash in Seh'ethil's face.

He moved out of the way and the water just missed him, he then flung the bottle's contents in Seh'ethil's face. It hit right on target then he laughed and laughed, "I'm sorry Seh'ethil, I just couldn't resist" he said with hardly any breath and he wiped a tear off his face. He stumbled forward but kept laughing, he was in the perfect position for Seh'ethil's revenge, but would he take it?

Seh'ethil, in surprise, nearly fell back into the spring. He sat there with the water dripping down his face, for a long second, before having to laugh a bit himself. However, the elf wasn't completely laughing at Link getting the best of him, he was also laughing at picturing Link soaked, instead. Seh'ethil picked up the front of his clothing, and whiped his face on it.
"No hard feelings!" He laughed. But then, getting up quickly, the elf took the opportunity to goto push Link lightly, seeing if he wouldn't just tip over into the spring.

Link ended up losing his balance and he fell forward into the pond, when he sat up there was a fish bouncing around on top of his head. He grabbed its tail fin and dropped it back in the water as he spit out some. "Uhh... maybe we should go somewhere else for now." He said, trying to not get angry.

The elf turned, looking back at the part of the village that was more populated with buildings, despite that it was mostly spread out. His eyes scanned each one over again, he was apparently feeling rather indecisive. "Do you play games, Link?"

"When I was a kid, sure, but I don't know now... if you really want me to I'll try." On their way to the games Link spotted a small group of people playing instruments, a straw hat with some gold coins in it was laid out in front of them. He reached into his wallet and tossed a few red rupees into the hat, one of them stopped playing their instrument for a second and grabbed one of the rupees. "What is this? I've never seen money like this before... who are you stranger?" Link looked away, "it does not concern you, but I promise its a generous tip, please, continue."
The player shrugged and joined back into playing with his band, Link noticed one of them was playing an ocarina, she had green short hair and had long ears like him, it brought back some memories from his childhood. But he quickly snapped out of it and continued on to play some games.

"You don't have to play them with me," Seh'ethil said. As they walked on towards the game place, one of the band players questioned the sort of currency Link had tipped them. This brought the elf's attention to it, and peering down, Seh'ethil was also some what curious. He'd witnessed similar jewel, but never one such a deep red, and with that sort of shape to boot.
"Do you play?" He asked Link, talking about instruments this time, and not games.
Reaching a game house, Seh'ethil pushed passed its door. It was noisy with background music, but relatively void of people. He looked at his options, and found the game most suit to his preference. Stepping up to a counter, the elven archer bargained a fairly full bag of coins to the man behind it, as if a bit full of himself.
"Right, well. You can't use your own arrows, chap," the games keeper said, as Seh'ethil discussed his bet with him. The elf agreed, and the man behind the counter handed him a set of arrows, and took the bag of coins he'd bet. Seh'ethil seemed to be a bit of a gambler.
He looked back at Link before going ahead with his chosen game, "If you want to play something, Link, I'll pay." Picking up the arrows he'd been given for the game, the elf stepped up to another counter. A large gap was between it, and on the other side, some targets. The point of the 'game,' was to hit the targets, and either make your money back, lose it or win double.
Seh'ethil began, and struck the first target. It was slightly off center, yet still a decent hit for the game. He frowned slightly, but aimed at the next. Letting the arrow fly, it was a bulls eye. The elf continued on, gaining a relatively decent score, however, still missing once.
When he'd finished, he made his way back over to the games keeper. Seh'ethil had won back slightly more than he'd paid, but certainly no where near double. He was satisfied, but, didn't leave the counter without remarking that 'their arrows were of poor quality.' The elf looked over for Link, wondering if he hadn't found any interest in the games at all.

He was interested in the target game, he waited for Seh'ethil to finish, when he did he walked up to the counter and placed his wallet full of rupees in front of the vendor. "I shall bet all my cash and I'll win it back double" he grabbed a bow and a quiver of arrows and set himself up to hit the targets. The first one he got a perfect bulls-eye, then the next one was just as good, he was of course an excellent archer but liked to use swords instead of bows. Soon he kept going till the last target, his score was perfect and confetti flew everywhere because of it, a cartoony victory fanfare played.
The game vendor was left in awe, and with a frustrated growl he filled up Link's wallet with his day's winnings. "Come on Seh'ethil, I'll buy you lunch" he left behind the bow and arrow and picked up the heavy sack of coins. "If you are hungry that is, its been a while since breakfast."

Seh'ethil grinned widely as he watched Link play, amazed and maybe even a bit envious at the level of skill in his archery. The elf watched the confetti fall, and the fanfare afterwards, rather amused by it as well. As Link collected his winnings, Seth'ethil was tempted to laugh at the games keeper, but refrained - it seemed too impolite.
"It's alright, Link, it's not like you owe me anything," Seh'ethil smiled, as they walked out on the game place. He was hungry, however, but simply planned to buy his own meal instead. "You've still got to pay off the repairs on your sword," he reminded, tilting his head slightly as he spoke. "Shouldn't you head back, check on it?"
