((I'd like to say I'm going to go take a quick showers, but my showers usually aren't that quick. So, I'll be back in a bit~ ))
Seh'ethil hadn't imagined the fireworks by Links explanation to be anything as magnificent as they really were. As he sat on the roof top, the displays didn't leave his view once, his eyes glued to the colorful skies, being lit up by the fireworks. "So much trouble they went through," The elf said, quietly, commenting on everything the villagers had done as the fireworks ended.
Seh'ethil still stared up into the night sky, even after everyone had started leaving, as if he were still picturing the bright lights go off over again. He snapped out of the near trance like state as Odin called up to them, offering beds. He smiled softly, he was certainly tired. It had seemed like such a peaceful evening.
Turning to face Link, who was laying on the roof, Seh'ethil leaned over and kissed his forehead. "Until tomorrow, Link," The elf said, sliding down from the roof to land on the ground below, following Odin to the aforementioned bed he'd offered.

((I need to take a shower today too, but the towels are still drying, so if I don't reply again by the time you get back I'm probably in the shower.))
What the hell...?" He thought to himself because of seh'ethil's kiss, but he stopped thinking about it and just let it pass. He watched the clouds roll by and over the moon, blocking the bright light it gave off for a little while. "This place is nice... but its a shame we'll be leaving tomorrow" he closed his eyes and for the first time in a long time, he ended up falling asleep.

((I have to get ready for work, now, haha. So, if you come back and I don't respond, I've probably already left for it. I'll be on later tonight, maybe around I think 8 your time, if I remember our time difference correctly. If I don't talk to you for the rest of the day, have a nice night! ))
Seh'ethil awoke to the cuccoo of a morning bird, nearly falling out of bed as he tried to get up. He was rather sore from the bed, being used to sleeping outdoors in the comfort of dirt, grass or leafs. As thankful as he was for the hospitality, he could have gone without it. As the elf stood, he cracked his back, taking a peek out a window near the bed he'd slept in. It was dawn, and the sky was still painted with pastel like pinks, oranges and yellows. The colors seem to overlay and lap into each other, and it reminded Seh'ethil faintly of the brights of the fireworks from the previous night. There was a bucket of water sitting on a fairly beat up cabinet, and Seh'ethil splashed some of it onto his face to clean it, if not attempt to better wake himself up. He later began to sort through and gather his things from the bedside.
Mindful not to awake anyone that might still be asleep, the elf left the small house he'd stayed in, taking in a deep breath of the fresh mountain air as he stepped outdoors. He took a bite of one of the exotic fruits he'd stored from one of yesterday's vendors, trying not to pucker up at its surprisingly sour taste.
There were a few more early morning risers, villagers getting to their work and chores, some of them wide awake, when others groggily and tired, moaning about having to do any work at all. Seh'ethil took a seat on a small bench, watching them go about their daily duties, some still cleaning up after the large celebration that taken place yesterday. The elf could hear a painful groan come from one of the houses, a man with a hang over from too much drink, no doubt.

((Okay, hope to see you later today, but if I don't you have a good night too!))
Link was still sleeping, but he wasn't having a pleasant dream, it was a nightmare about the way he died. He was fighting ganon and the instant he was stabbed in the chest he awoke with a gasp. He sat up and was in a cold sweat, "I was sleeping...? I'd forgotten about dreams and nightmares." He thought to himself as he slid off the roof and landed on his feet. He found Seh'ethil on a bench and he walked over. "Good morning Seh'ethil, sleep good?" He sat down next to him, "so, when do you think we should get going? Theres too much out there to discover that we're missing while we stay here."

((I managed to get ready faster than I thought, so I should be around for another good hour or so, give or take. ))
Seh'ethil shook his head yes to Link's inquiry about his sleep, but cracked his back again, as if to protest against his silent answer. "What did you do all night?" He asked, always curious. If he had as much time on his hands as Link did, he wasn't sure what he would do with it.
"Unless you're parshal to long goodbyes, anytime soon would be fine," The elf responded, standing up as if ready to walk away at the instant. It wasn't that he was in any hurry to leave the village - it was a nice place, but Seh'ethil was, deep down, far more excited to see what sort of adventure awaited them. If Link wanted to say bye the archer would leave him to it, yet, Seh'ethil was ready to start his trek to leave the mountain.

"I can't remember anything... other than the fact I finally fell asleep after 2 long years" he stood up, still a bit dazed from just waking up and shocked from his dream. "I'm ready to leave when you are... lets go while everyone is busy cleaning up after the party." While he and Seh'ethil were starting to leave, Cody ran over with Nessa following behind him. "Hi Link! Last night was fun huh?" Link was trying not to get sad, "yeah... it was Cody, but me and Seh'ethil must leave now." Cody's smile turned into a frown, "what...? Why? Weren't you going to stay?"
"I'm sorry Cody, but we don't belong here, theres no way we could stay... please, don't be sad, you must stay strong and take care of your sister and mom, alright?" Cody was trying to hold back the tears, but he nodded his head, Nessa walked up and offered Link a gift. He took it and looked at it, it was a small, pink crystal heart attached to a silver chain, "it... my favorite thing. Please take, remember us by." Link gave them both a hug, "thank you, I will never forget you both" he tied it to an available hook on his side belt, made sure it was tight and turned his back to them. He was crying a little and didn't want Seh'ethil to see so he covered his face with his handkerchief.
"Good bye, Link..." said Cody, and he sadly walked back home with Nessa by his side.

Seh'ethil was a bit surprised to hear Link had slept. He couldn't imagine what it would be like to fall asleep, if you hadn't for so long, not under the conditions Link had, anyway. After their encounter with the two kids, the elf smiled a bit. It wasn't that it was happy leaving or anything, but the compassion between them and Link was heart warming. He turned to leave with Link and wondered if Link didn't seem a bit sad to part, not that, that couldn't be expected.
Although the elf had also considered himself an adventurer, although not on the level Link was, he didn't often make connections with people. He thought it must have been hard for Link, to have to leave as he became close to them.
"Link, have you ever seen the sea?" Seh'ethil asked, as they made it down the mountain. He assumed that someone like Link would have indeed been by such a place. Yet, without waiting for an answer, the elven archer was distracted by a figure on horseback, approaching quickly from the distance.
Seh'ethil wasn't sure what to think when the horse backed person came within decent view, for his features were recognizable in an unfarmiliar way. The horse came to a quick stop as the elven archer went up to greet it, before he reached where Link had been standing. The man that had been riding waved out before hand to show he meant no harm. The part that worried Seh'ethil was that the man was a elf, more or less obviously much closely related to his kind. He was taller, and possessed a larger build, his skin was a darker violet and his hair a deep brown; as if in opposite to Seh'ethil's. Yet, his eyes held the same glow to them, and his ears the same sort of length.
"Undome (evening)" The elf, sitting high on his horse greeted. He then sniffed the air deeply, and seemed to give Seh'ethil a dirty look. "Lle holma ve' edan (You smell like a human)"
Seh'ethil returned the same mean stare, as if this man were intruding on something. He picked up the garmet he was wearing, and sniffed it, as if only to confirm what the man on horse back had said. Yet still, the elf found it insulting that someone he could probably call his kin was so jaded, to find human smell gross. He then looked back towards Link, before the stranger continued on, "Lle quena i'lambe tel' Eldalie? (Do you speak elvish?)"
Seh'ethil snorted in a sort of disgust, and looked at Link again, as if he wanted to deny any part of his upbringing at this point - including the language. He wasn't sure if Link understood it or not, or if he could even hear them from where he was standing. "Lle lakwenien? Amin sinta lle? (Are you joking? Do I know you?)" The archer said rather harshly, snapping back, apparently insulted from what the stranger had prior said.
The elf on the horse was about to say something more, when he was cut off from his companion slipping off the back of the stead. It was an orc, but apparently, unlike the stranger elf, it spoke in a more common tongue. "He means to ask for directions, bowman," The orc explained, and went on to re-state what he said in elven, near butchering his attempt at the language. Despite polite words, the tone of the orc's voice had a sort of sting to it, clearly not caring to be kind at all.
Seh'ethil, already acting a bit hostile, drew back his salvia and then spat in the orc's face. He was not at all fond of this creature, even with its attempted politeness. "Peredhil glamhoth, amin feuya ten' lle (hafling orc, you disgust me)" Seh'ethil replied. The words came off his tongue much more smoothly in contrast to the orc's. Before either had a chance to reply, the elf had raise his arrow to them. The orc got back onto the horse's behind, and the stranger began to draw his sword.
Before any battle ensued, Seh'ethil shot at the horse's hoofs, meaning only to startle and not injure it. It worked as expected, and and stead reared up, nearly loosing its riders. The orc and other elf rode off, cursing something he couldn't make out as they did.
Moving back, Seh'ethil meant to explain to Link as to why he had been so rude, as that mustn't have given him the best impression - if Link had overheard anything at all. Yet, between orcs and even Seh'ethil's own people, there was too much resentment to treat them any kinder. Instead of explaining, though, Seh'ethil decided simply to recap on his previous question, "I'd assume the sea to be nice."
(( I'm sorry, the language thing was ever so queer of me. BUT. I COULDN'T. RESIST.))

Link took a moment or two to drink in what had happened, he shook his head and had a confused look on his face. "Uhm... yes, I have been to the sea, but I haven't been near the shore for quite awhile, I tend to venture in-land more."He chuckled, still a bit weirded out by what happened, "uh, *ahem* lets keep going, shall we?" As they kept traveling, they passed through some patches of giant oak trees and soon had found a mighty river. It looked to be 100 feet wide and the current was too strong to swim or walk to the other side. He looked farther down the path, and couldn't see anything but more trees along the edges of the mile long river.
"We should follow this river, it could lead us to the ocean, does that sound ok Seh'ethil? I could go for a swim right about now."

"You want to swim in the river?" Seh'ethil asked, peering down into what looked like quite a hard current. The rush of water was loud, and beat harshly at the sediment on the river banks. He wasn't sure if he'd heard Link correctly, wondering if it wouldn't just end up in a drowning. Even as Link mentioned the ocean, which the elf looked quite forward to, he had to be a bit skeptical.

Link couldn't help but laugh, "no, every river leads to the ocean, I want to follow it on land and swim when we reach the sea, come on, lets go!" He ran along the path following the river's flow, he could feel the air get a bit colder and misty, a sure sign that the ocean is nearby. Soon he reached the end of the river which fell down a high cliff, into the brilliant blue sea, it was quite a sight. The sun in full view and seagulls squawking noisily as they fly around trying to catch fish, some were perched atop a tall lighthouse that seemed to be abandoned. There was also a rickety looking dock, link quickly looked for a way down and noticed a perfect path down to the beach at the foot of the cliff.
"Ahh, finally, a refreshing swim" Link said as he carefully made his way down the steep path, he slipped and almost fell a few times but he managed to make it to the beach safely. Link took off his cloak, weapons, hat and boots and jumped in with a big splash. He laid back on the surface, but as he did a seagull landed on his belly, it pecked at Link's forehead and flew away before he could do anything. "You pesky bird!" Link shouted in frustration, he didn't feel like relaxing anymore, he wanted to explore the briny deep. "Hey seh'ethil!" Link shouted, "can you breathe underwater?!" He swam back to shore and reached into one of his item bags attached to his belt. He pulled out a blue crystal with a shiny scale on the inside, attached to a black chain necklace. "If you can't, you can wear this, I used it to dive underwater before I 'died', you can keep it if you like."

At first, Seh'ethil sighed in relief, and then smirked slightly at his own misunderstanding. As they followed the river the elf's anticipation only grew stronger, and just as he felt unable to wait any longer, there it was.
Before Seh'ethil could follow Link down to the beach, he stood, watching from the top of the cliff in appreciation of the view. Once he slid down to the bottom, he was near mesmerized by the ocean's waves.
"I thought you were not fond of the water," the elf said, snickering slightly. The snicker quickly turned into a full laugh as he watched Link, irritated by the seagull that'd taken a swipe at him.
As Link asked if Seh'ethil could breathe under water it posed a curious question to him. He had heard stories about the ocean, and now even saw it in all its majesty, but never thought of what lay under it. Seh'ethil stared at the scale gem Link produced oddly, tilting his head slightly as he did, as if somehow doing so would give him a changing perspective, or a better understanding of it.
He wasn't sure how such an item would enable him to be under water for longer, yet, assumedly he associated the scale with some form of enchantment; as many items of that kind were. Seh'ethil nodded his head with a smile and took the jewel, putting it on.
"Thanks, Link," He said, already removing his pack and bow so he might go into the water. Although the elf accepted the gift, he didn't plan to keep it for longer than needed, as, if Link had kept it for this long without requiring it himself, it must have held value to him.
Seh'ethil was quick to pull off his shirt, boots, and any other bags he had on his person to carry possession in, setting them by his bow and arrows. He left one leather sack tied to his pant's waist, just in case it was for some reason needed, and eagerly waded his way out into deeper water. The elf was surprised by the smell and the salty taste, as well as amazed by how light one felt in the ocean, compared to normal water.
The elf took in a deep breath before diving under the surface, wanting to test out the difference with when he had the scale Link had given him. The amount of time more he could spend was astonishing. Seh'ethil resurfaced closer to Link, waiting for him to come with him.

He did a cannonball back into the ocean, but didn't resurface as he was busy swimming deeper down. There were small schools of fish hiding in seaweed and various mollusks on the sea bottom, one was open and Link noticed the shiny pearl on the inside. As he reached for it a small fiddler crab scuttled by and grabbed it in its over-sized claw, running off with it, "hey!" Link shouted in a gargle-sounding voice, he swam after it but it went into an alcove in the rocks, he could see it but he couldn't reach it. "Damn it... oh well, what else is around here?"
There were little anemones connected to the rocks and they swayed with the flow of the sea, as Link swam by they all receded to protect themselves and came back out when the coast was clear. But as beautiful as it was Link couldn't help but yearn for adventure, he wanted to explore darker places, and got his wish as he kept going further out, there was a huge and deep trench right in front of him. But as he got closer he began to grow uneasy, so he turned around and swam back to shore as fast as he could to get his weapons, he jumped out like a fish and ran over to his supplies, he put on his belt, folded his cloak and hat up to put in his item bag. He then put on his boots and hopped back in, swimming back to the trench, but he stopped when he found Seh'ethil, "Seh'ethil, theres something in that trench, could you go back to shore? I'll lure it out! Get ready!" He continued swimming and swam down the trench when he reached it.
As he got deeper the sunlight faded, there was nothing but darkness, the only light that could be seen was bioluminescence from the various fish, shrimps and jellyfish. As he looked around a huge yellow eyeball could be seen, but soon, four more showed up, they all looked at Link, a giant tentacle swooped up and knocked Link against the trench wall. He passed out and was grabbed by the tentacle, it was a giant squid, it began to rise to the surface, making a million bubbles rise up with it.

Before Seh'ethil had any chance to ask what Link was talking about, or even respond to his request, Link had already dove back into the depths of the ocean. Yet, from experience so far, he decided not to question it any further. The elf quickly swam back to shore, and climbing up, snatched up his bow. He grabbed an arrow then took the entire quiver out of the leather pack, throwing it around his shoulder.
It was taking longer than he'd thought, and although still ready for any signs of Link or, whatever it was he planned to lure, the elf had taken a seat. When he saw bubbles rise to the surface, however, Seh'ethil jumped to his feet, bow ready and arrow aimed. "Link?!" He shouted, although knowing his submerged friend would not hear him under the water.
Seh'ethil's eyes widened as the bubbles grew, at first there had only been few touching the surface, and then many, as if what created them was of very large size. It caused some worry, as he couldn't even begin to imagine what Link had lured over here.
It seemed as though the time it took the under water creature to rise would last forever, the elf both anxious and confused at the same time. And when it finally did, Seh'ethil was caught in parshal shock; it was like nothing he had ever seen.
Moving above the surface, first came what looked as if a large beak. The squid let out an inhumane noise, and much like what he was seeing, Seh'ethil didn't think he would ever hear something that would compare to that, either. The squid dipped back down under water before coming up again, this time showing its head, large eyes staring up. Water poured off of it and back into the ocean, causing great waves. Every time the elf thought he had a decent idea of the sea creature's size, it would bob up through the water even more, only to prove itself larger than previously thought.
The squid was certainly enraged, tentacles breaking up through the water and slapping it, causing that much more of a disturbance. It was as if the creature could create a storm on the sea front by its own means. As Seh'ethil readied himself to shoot the squid, he saw something that shocked him even a bit more than the creature itself: there, wrapped in one of its mighty tentacles, was Link.
The elf had to think quickly as to what to do. He would have had a good shot at the squid's head, or even one of its eyes - so large that they made easy target. Yet, he worried that if he were to attack it, it would crush his friend in its mighty grip. Before he had a chance to attempt to free Link of it's grasp, the tentacle and his friend submerged again.
Seh'ethil waited, watching its many arms flail, until he had decent shot at the one holding Link again. Eventually, it vaguely came up from under the water, and the elf took his chances. He shot the arrow into the water, and luckily, it hit. The tentacle shot up into the air, only further pissing the sea creature off. It had loosened its grip, but didn't fully let go of Link. The elf shot again, closer to Link this time, careful of the squid's wild and random movements, not wanting to accidently hit his friend. It missed, but Seh'ethil was already swift on the follow up shot, which hit it, forcing the squid to let Link drop into the water below.
Seh'ethil let another two arrows go into one of the oversized fish's giant eyes, hoping to distract it from grabbing at Link again. The squid ventured as close as it dared to the shore, and unluckily for the elf, it was close enough that its tentacles could reach over onto the beach where he stood. It smashed down, breaking off some of the ledge over the water. The elf narrowly avoided further attacks, managing barely in his panic to move his and Link's remaining possessions further away, from its reach. He took a few shots at the attacking tentacles, then dropped his quiver full of arrows down with the rest of their things, tieing few to his side just incase, but knowing he couldn't bring the rest with him if he were to drop into the water - they would float away. The elf slung his bow around his chest and back, jumping over and nearly tripping over one of the squid's shored tentacles, and into the ocean.
Seh'ethil very narrowly managed to swim through the many tentacles under the surface. Seeing the squid under water was even more frightening, as he could picture its size in full, now - leaving only pure fear to the imagination. The elf swam passed the squid's main body, moving passed its tentacle's current reach. It may have been a large creature, but it hadn't been bright enough to even notice Seh'ethil had left the shore. Eventually, though, the elf knew it would catch on.
Seh'ethil saw Link in the water's distance, he had apparently been knocked deeper into the ocean by one of the squid's tentacles after he'd dropped. The elf swam after him, not stopping to admire or even notice the under water beauty, his mind set on bringing his friend back to shore. Once Seh'ethil had managed to catch up to Link's sinking body, he wrapped his arm around his chest, trying to pull him back up to the surface. As he did so, a slimey fish rubbed its tail fin against him, causing the elf to gasp - thinking in his fear that it had been the squid. He lost much air this way, and that also meant time. Seh'ethil, still holding onto Link, invested in more energy to bring them both up to the surface.
By the time the elf hit the surface, taking in a deep breath of salty ocean air, the angered squid had caught on. He saw it in the distance, diving under water, now looking for the two of them. Seh'ethil, hoping he had enough time to get back to shore before the sea creature would find them, swam towards the cliff edge on his back, bringing Link's unconcious body with him.
Seh'ethil thought they'd gotten away from the sea creature scott free once they hit the shore, pushing Link half-way up onto it before climbing up himself, and pulling his friend the rest of the way. Of course, the squid had a different plan for its prey. As the elf sat there panting, the squid resurfaced a mighty tentacle, far too close for comfort. It bashed down on the ground beside them.
The elf jumped, trying to pull Link further to safety, having to stop and ready his bow, grabbing one of the arrows he'd prior tied to his side. He shot into the water, only knowing he'd hit one of the squid's tentacles from seeing its blood and bits of its flesh pollute the otherwise clean ocean. Seh'ethil readied his bow again, wishing their enemy hadn't had the water to hide in, wanting it to resurface completely as it had last, to drive an arrow into its brain.

Link slowly began to wake up, coughing up any sea water he had swallowed, still slightly dazed he sat up and looked around. He was furious at the monster and drew his sword, he got up and began running back to the ocean before the tentacle that hit the beach could go back under. he sliced off the last large bit of the tentacle before it went back down, leaving the ocean stained red with the blood of the squid. His actions caused the squid to rise again, letting out a loud blood curdling screech, it got ready to slam another tentacle to crush Link, but he dodged it just in time, it made the sand fly in the air, causing a large cloud to form. Link jumped on the tentacle and began running across it toward the squid, even though the squid flailed its tentacle around to make Link fall off he jumped to another one.
He kept jumping till he was close enough, and with a loud yell, he stabbed one of the squid's eyes with his sword, covering him in its blood. The squid let out an even louder screech and shook itself around to dislodge the sword, in Link's attempt to stab another eye with one of his daggers the sword came loose and he fell back in to the sea. The squid snapped its beak in anger under the surface, almost chomping Link's arm off, but thank god it missed him. he swam away for a bit, the ocean cleaned the blood off his blade and himself causing it to rise to the surface, leaving a thin red trail behind him. This made it easy for the squid to find him and it began launching its tentacles at him.
"Its eyes must be its weak points..." He thought to himself as he avoided the tentacles slamming down from the surface. "Midna, can you go tell Seh'ethil to shoot it in the eyes?!" Midna appeared above the surface, "you got it Link!" She flew as fast as she could back to the shore, "Seh'ethil!" She shouted, "shoot it in the eyes! THE. EYES!"

"Alright!" The elf yelled in return, with a heavy nodd to represent he'd heard Midna. Pulling the string of his bow back, an arrow whirled through the air, hitting one of it's glossed over eyes dead center. Seh'ethil would have thought the sea creature to at least have the brains to return to the depths of the sea, or hide back under the surface, but it didn't; it was determined. Because of this, he could feel no pity to its injuries.
He shot his last arrow at another eye, and it hit the corner. The shot wasn't without its glory, however, as the arrow slipped down the edge of the squid's face, tearing it before becoming fully lodged in. The eye sunk slightly out of its socket, now too damage to hold it in completely. In its furry the sea creature only lashed out more, and Seh'ethil ran both to dodge and to pick up the arrow filled quiver.
Aiming once more the elf hit the squid's head, for good measure, and another arrow soon followed it, taking out what was left of the eye which was slowly falling out of the squid's face from his last attack. The shots continued but the creature stood its ground, soon trying to protect itself by hitting at the arrows with its tentacles - only to have them pierce and wound them instead.
One more arrow landed in the sea creature's squishy head, and for a second, it laid back. Its tentacles laid dead in the ocean, and it sunk down. Yet, the creature made a quick revival from its momentary paralysis, whipping at the shore all the harder for the damage done.

Link had dodged a tentacle under the surface again but before it went to rise up he grabbed onto the suction cups underneath it. The tentacle flung Link up into the air and he hovered high above the squid's head, he aimed his sword right and fell with it in position to slice the squid right down the middle. It sliced through the top of its head with ease all the way down to its eyes through most of its brain, its remaining eye rolled back and it began to sink, Link pulled his sword from its brain using his legs for extra strength.
He fell into the sea and swam away as fast as he could, avoiding the lifeless tentacles, he was in the clear and rose to the surface, to show Seh'ethil he was alright. When he reached the shore he dropped his sword and fell to his knees, exhausted. "We... make a great team, huh... Seh'ethil?"

Seh'ethil could feel his heart pounding hard against his ribcage as everything calmed down, watching the squid's lifeless corpse fall back into the ocean, almost fearing it would pop up again, only to somehow have lived through all of that. He was relieved when it didn't, and unarmed himself once satisfied with the thought.
Overjoyed to see Link had made it back to the shore safely and without injury, the elven archer went to collect his stuff, pulling his shirt back on and over his head. He then went to go sit by his tired friend. "THATS what you had planned to lure in?" Seh'ethil said, still a bit shakey from the entire encounter. He dropped his bow as he sat down. Despite a slightly upset tone, he was smiling. It had been quite the rush, but as the adrenaline wore off, the elf was finding himself also quite exhausted from everything.
"You're insane, Link," He said, turning to his friend as he did. "But we do... make a great team."

Link chuckled, "I'll take that as a compliment" he replied about the "insane" part as he got up and brushed the sand off his pants. The sphyfer in his sword's handle let out a bright flash, the image of the squid could be seen but it was absorbed into the jewel, along with the light, it glinted in the sun afterwards. Link picked it up, for some reason, he felt more powerful, "so that is what it does..." he commented, "amazing, I wonder if the soul of that dragon was absorbed too?" He then put it back in his sheath.
But he stopped thinking about the sphyfer for a second, he completely forgot that they can't go any farther due to the river. "Oh man, what are we gonna go? That river up there is blocking our path, we can't go anywhere." Midna finally joined back in on the situation, "don't worry you two, I'll help you! Come on, lets head back." Link felt stupid forgetting about Midna's magic, but he didn't say anything, he felt dried off enough so he got his hat and cloak from his item bag, put them on, and walked toward the path.

The elf took a curious look at Link's sword, watching the flash, not completely able to catch onto it as Link did. Yet, Seh'ethil had some idea. "Quite the gifted blacksmith..." He said, still quite amazed at what the man had managed to do, and craft.
"We should have asked Midna's help in the first place," Seh'ethil grinned, climbing back up the steep path they'd taken down to the ocean. He was glad however that he had gotten to see the ocean in their detour, even if he wasn't sure he ever wanted to see any of its inhabitants again - at least not after the encounter with the squid. He shivered slightly, his wet skin hugging his shirt, although maybe part in memory of the creature, and not from the cold. The archer was definately more land born.
Nearly forgetting about the jewel, Seh'ethil took off the scale Link had given him. The extra breath under water it offered was amazing, but he had already decided he was to give it back when it wasn't needed anymore, and the elf didn't feel like going for another swim anytime soon. "Link," he said, to get his friend's attention, and handed the scale back to him.

"Huh? Oh, well... if you don't want it I'll take it back then, thank you," he said as he put it back in his item bag. When they reached the river Midna flew over to the other side, found the tallest trees she could and, using her magic, she placed them on top of the river's edges to make a stable bridge. "Now anyone who comes this way can get across, well, lets get going, men!" She disappeared and Link's shadow came back, he carefully made his way across, despite getting his cloak caught on a branch or two, he made it safely.
He could see dark clouds roll in from the distance, "we could be getting some rain soon, maybe theres a house up ahead" he said as they began to travel, 20 minutes had passed and it began raining heavily, thunder could be heard every once in a while, Link groaned frustratingly, "we just got outta the water! Stupid weather..." though it was dark from the black clouds, he could see a log cabin with a lit candle in the window. "Maybe they'll let us stay until the rain passes, come on Seh'ethil." He ran up onto the porch and began to knock on the door, but the instant his hand touched the door it opened.
He looked inside, there was no one, only broken, dusty and cobweb covered furniture. But the lit candle in the window means someone lives there. "we may make someone angry but we need a place to stay..." he entered the house and kept the door open for Seh'ethil.

Seh'ethil gave a small wave of appreciation to Midna for creating the makeshift bridge, and cautiously followed over it, to the other side. The elf nearly fell near the very end, catching himself just in time - luckily though, he'd been so close to the edge, he would have more than likely only fallen to the ground instead of water.
Seh'ethil, usually not so minding of the rain, dreaded it now. He had previously been overjoyed for the warmth of his shirt, yet this joy was quickly taken away from him with the rain's cold. "What luck we must have..." Seh'ethil muttered, a hint of satire in his tone as they treked on through the down pour.
It was a relief when Link pointed out the house. Even Seh'ethil, who would have usually stayed in the rain before trespassing out of respect, was more than willing to enter. "They'll understand," He responded hopefully, stepping inside.
It felt as if the two had simply left the bad weather behind, with how dry the house seemed in comparison. Of course, this only reminded the archer of how drenched he was. To him, you always felt that much more wet from rain than you did from swimming. Seh'ethil's boots squished on the floor as he stepped further inside, he later took them off out of courtesy. His hair had still been wet from the ocean, but even more so now from the storm, locks of it sticking to his face. And his clothes were even more soaked, water dripping down onto the cabin's floor boards.
"If there is a candle lit, where is the own- Achoo," Seh'ethil started to say, cut off by his own sneeze before he could finish 'owner.' His ears drooped a little, and he peered around to see if the cabin didn't have some sort of fireplace.

Link grabbed the candle in the window and looked into the darkness of the cabin with it, thankfully there was a fireplace, with plenty of wood. After he made a roaring fire he took his cloak off and used some weight to hold it over the fireplace to let it dry. He than sat, legs criss-crossed to warm himself up, with the light of the fireplace, you could see everywhere in the cabin now, it was a bit creepy. No matter how long Link sat near the fire he just couldn't warm up, you could see his breath, it made him suspicious that... he and Seh'ethil weren't alone.
"Do you feel like... someone else is here with us, Seh'ethil?" He asked, slightly shivering from the cold, the candle from the window landed on the floor, but it was still lit. As he looked around to check what could've done that the broken furniture was all fixed up and placed around nicely. Link jumped up and drew his sword, "I think theres ghosts about!" As he said it a chair hovered up into the air and launched itself toward Link, he cut it into pieces and they fell to the floor, a small purple ghost came out of the chair, it had an angry face but it faded away with an evil laugh.
"We can't even have a single minute of peace, can we?!" Link yelled, but pretty soon more chairs were flying towards them both.

Now that Link had mentioned it, Seh'ethil really did feel as if they weren't alone. It had been strange, yet before the elf had any time to remark on it he was startled by the paranormal activity. "Spirits..." The elf repeated softly, just as the second burst of chairs rose and flew towards them.
Seh'ethil, unable to gather much more of a reaction from himself had to take the hit. He grunted slightly as the piece of furniture hit him, but had managed to push it off with his shoulder. Had it been any heavier the elf wouldn't have been so lucky. The next attack from the ghosts was harder for him to save himself from, having to quickly duck and dodge a large couch they'd tossed in his direction. The archer rolled across the cabin's floor, managing to grab his boots and pull his bow off his back as he got up.
"Link, we should leave!" Seh'ethil cried. Normally he would have more vigorously fought back against such attackers, yet, he did realize they were in the ghosts' house, and they had come uninvited. One of the purple ghouls reappeared, now holding a very solid lantern. With an almost sadistic yet playful laugh, it swung the lantern in his direction. The elf ducked again, and then went against his previous hopes for non-violence on his behalf, shooting at the solidified ghost before it could fade.
The ghost, which had still been cackling, now froze up, apparently startled as the arrow drove through it. It hadn't been fended off, though, and simply became invisible once more. Seh'ethil, now welcoming the previously unwanted cold in comparison, made his way to the door. The archer tried to open it, yet it wouldn't budge. He could hear one of the ghost's wicked laughter in the background, as if they were now trapping the two in. Turning swiftly on his heel, the elf aimed his bow, waiting for any further sign of their presence.

Link began to slice up the furniture into pieces to lure the ghosts out, they'd shout and quickly reveal themselves, each one was the same purple ghost with a bright lantern. When all the furniture was gone their eyes turned red and they spun their lanterns at a rapid pace, they began to charge at them both. Link managed to sliced one in two before getting knocked back by another into the wall, he slid down and landed with a thud. The sliced ghost turned into ashes and its lantern shattered when it hit the floor, revealing a small purple flame with a happy face, it faded away with the same laugh from the other ghosts.
He kept fighting, slicing any ghosts that were in reach, but it seemed endless, no matter how many he took down, another appeared to take its place. "Theres gotta be some way to beat these guys!" Thats when it hit him, the Sphyfer, it absorbed souls to use their powers, but he had to get it to work somehow. Despite the five ghosts slowly hovering toward him with another six following them, he relaxed, inhaled, exhaled and held his sword over his head with both hands. closing his eyes he swung the sword down, making the Sphyfer react, it let out a bright flash, startling the ghosts, they dropped their lanterns causing the flames to escape.
The ghosts were slowly sucked in toward the Sphyfer, they tried their best to get away, but to no avail, with a loud shout they were sucked in, one by one. The force was a bit strong for even Link and he almost lost focus along with his balance, but down to the very last ghost he stood strong. When the light faded out he opened his eyes, he caught sight of the candle on the floor, the flame just then went out, the rain had stopped and the door could be opened again.

Seh'ethil took a few shots at the attacking ghosts, but they proved overly hard to hit. Even when he had fled some of the ghouls, there were only more in their place. Eventually, the archer was spending more time dodging the ghost's attacks over wasting his arrows on them.
The elf let one more arrow fly into the transparent purple body of one of them, before seeing the light from Link's sword. The flash was hard to bare and so Seh'ethil shielded his eyes with his arm, turning away from it. The crashing lamps, and the few laughs the ghosts let loose before being vanquished to the sphyfer on Link's sword had somehow become relieving.
When everything calmed down, Seh'ethil turned back towards the whole of the room, glad to see only Link, and not the army of ghosts that'd previously haunted them. The door, no longer locked, even opened slightly on its own, letting a draft of the fresh after-rain air in.
The archer, loosely holding his bow to his side, walked over to the window, peaking out. His face lit up, and smiling softly, he stepped across the room towards Link. Without word or warning, the elf pulled Link into a light hug.
