I remember thinking that the ending-- with the below ground pan-- was kinda corny. And vaguely creepy. It was only creepy because Depp was curdling in that film, though... otherwise I may have laughed.

I was also younger and laissez faire about movies, so I don't know how I'd feel about it now. :P

I don't have anything to say. Depp was good as Jack Sparrow and creepy as Willy Wonka, but I haven't really watched anything else with him in it. I saw parts of Edward Scissorhands, but not enough to say I watched the movie or anything.
