I would get cookies but I'm repelled from the kitchen area because my brothers are watching some stupid movie and have the volume up and it's overall headache inducing.

Ah, yeah, I have an awkward side of the family too. Now that I'm old enough to do my own thing for Christmas, I just spend it with the people I am comfortable with, I do kind of miss hiding in the downstairs room with a plate of biscuits and mashed potatoes, though. Reading my grandmother's Readers Digests if I forgot to bring my own book.
Bringing books is a good battle plan if you have to encounter awkward relatives; I hope you have some good ones.

I'm okay. My man is being silly and giving me the silent treatment because I snapped at him because he was making fun of how I wrap presents even though I'm actually really good at it (imagine a box with no seams. That's me.) So I dunno what to do about that.
But we have snow, so not at all bad XD

Rue: I'm almost old enough. Got less then a month till I'm legal. Kinda don't want to be though D: cause I know my stepmoms gunna use it against me when I want to goof off.

That is a good strategy. But I usually go for the sit and draw a picture version. XD
