"If you came, you might find out why," Niflh said, realizing, however small it was, he'd triggered some sense of curiosity or temptation. He got off his stool and then set it up on the counter, as if to lend Seneth a hand in cleaning, at least by doing his part.

The demon opened his mouth, about to mention something more before being cut off by a particularly loud scream of Ubel's. "Is your rat okay, Seneth?" Niflh asked, turning his head to look at the rodent-like creature. The devil put the thought of eating Ubel's dream so that he might sleep soundly out of his head, although he'd first thoroughly considered it.

Niflh took a few coy steps away from the counter, eventually coming closer to where the bartender was. He ran his hand down Seneth's back lightly, and for any human it would have caused a chill down their spine. Of course, since Seneth was a demon, it was no different than normal touch. The remaining guests that'd been in the bar left now, going on perhaps to sleep. "...Surely you have nothing better to do, than come with me, Seneth?"

"Ubel's fine.... probably just another nightmare..." He stated before turning around. "The stools stack not on the bar.." He stated taking the stool back down. "And I have plenty to do here..." He began stacking the bar stools against a wall, before locking the door. "What's with your hand on my back?" He asked cooly, filling the empty bar with his voice.

Niflh grimaced slightly, until a previous idea reinstated itself in his mind. "I'll give Ubel sweet dreams. Given that you accompany me in return," Niflh offered.

The demon's hand had slid off Seneth's back slowly, yet he still responded about it with a sort of hissed satire, "It is there because I am ready to push you out of your bar."

"So, what do you say, bartender? I am sure your pet would appreciate the gesture, if you accepted my deal."

Seneth grumbled. "Ubel's a demon... what makes you so sure he doesn't want nightmares?" He asked before eyeing his friend. Sighing softly he nodded. "Fine.. just no pushing.. and I do get to come back... correct?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"The noise he makes well having one is enough to make me not want him to have nightmares," Niflh said, sticking a finger in his ear as if to block out some of the sound. His distaste disappeared and was replaced with a wicked smile, however, once Seneth agreed to go with him.

"Perhaps..." Niflh responded, although not seriously. He would even personally accompany the bartender back, if need be. Before they left, Niflh leaned over the side of the bar, looking yet at the same time not looking at Ubel. His eyes stared at the rat like creature, yet for the moment, they seemed empty, as if somewhere else. The demon's hands glew with the same purple aura they had with the earlier man. This time, though, Niflh had let Ubel keep his memory, unlike the passed out man's, whom he'd stolen it from.

Niflh stepped back from the counter as the aura died down, coming back to this world. He scrunched his face up a little, as if the process had left a bitter taste in his mouth, then turned with a grin to Seneth. "Well, come on, dear. We haven't time to waste, my room is a tricky one to find," He said, already leaving the bar, expecting Seneth to tag along with him.

Apparently, they really didn't have to go far to find the entrance to Niflh's room. There was an out of place door in the wall of a hallway outside of the bar, which the demon silently thanked Metamorphose for. He pulled out a very peculiar looking key that matched none of the others, and unlocked the door. Then, he entered, waiting only momentarily for Seneth.

Behind the door was another door, which opened to row, after row of more opened doors. They all went on as far as the eye could see, yet this didn't seem to cause Niflh any trouble. He entered through the frame of the first door, and closed it behind the two of them. After that, the following doors slammed shut, and eventually disappeared all together, dispelling the illusion. Niflh used the same, special key on the door they'd just came through, re-opening it and stepping through once again. This time, on the other side, was a room. Niflh's room.

The room was large and vast, but far from empty or plain. The bed that laid in the middle was bigger than any normal bed should be, befitted better for that of a giant. The walls were lined with clutter and trinkets, this and that Niflh had over time claimed as his own. It was a lot similar to the treasure room they'd been in before, but it offered much more free space. The demon grimaced slightly, flicking on and off a light switch at the side. When the light turned back on, all the items of the room were gone, save for the usual furnishing of a room, and peppermint striped wallpaper. This time, the bed was of average size, although the room itself stretched on quite long still. Niflh had picked this particular room for himself as it had many shapes and sizes, ones that the owner of the room could pick from at will, unlike many of the other random changing parts of the inn.

Niflh smiled when he turned to face Seneth, "As a demon, have you ever known lust, bartender?"

Seneth had smiled when Ubel calmed down. His smile lasted as he followed Niflh though the endless maze to his room. "Lust?" He asked, his smile fading. He took a step back slightly. "Erm.. no.. don't believe I have..." He answered standing against the wall.

Niflh's face lit up as his grin widened, as if a contrasting opposite to Seneth's. He stepped forward, further pinning the bartender against the wall. He almost felt like an animal who'd just cornered their prey, although the situation seemed, in all truth, far from that.

"That's a shame," Niflh purred, his arms on either side of Seneth's waist, hands propped up against the wall. He was close enough to the other demon that his every breath hit Seneth's neck. As if biding his time, the demon stood up straight, forcing the bartender to glance into the depths of his cold stare. Even if Seneth resisted, he really couldn't run far. "It's a strange thing, to be the object of a devil's desire," Niflh said, with a laugh, then kissed him deeply.

Seneth pushed himself closer to the wall. Object...Lust.....Me? He couldn't fight it. However he didn't give in. He stood motionless. unable to think, let alone do anything else.

Niflh laughed as he pulled back slightly. "At least you are not complaining this time," He smirked, commenting on Seneth's lack of response. Niflh was finding his reaction, or absence there of, relatively amusing.

Niflh kissed him once more before pulling away completely, and walking over to his bed, where he sat cross legged. The demon paused for a second as he looked Seneth up and down, smiled. "You can go back to your bar now, bartender," He said, as if giving him permission, like he wouldn't have let Seneth leave before that.

Seneth stood there for a second still lost in thought. Regaining his head he quickly asked, "And how Mr. Lustful, do I get back to my bar?... exactly...?" He had folded his arms against his chest as he leaned against the wall eyeing Niflh carefully.

"Ah.. let me think about that one," Niflh said, dipping his head back and staring up towards the ceiling. He let out a low, "Hmm.." as if in thought. The demon looked back at Seneth and said rather mockingly, "I don't recall how, bartender."

It was clearly a lie, or even some sort of ill humored joke. Niflh knew exactly how to get back, and it was very obvious that he did. Resting his jaw on his knuckles the devil let out a soft sigh. "Perhaps if you come over here, I'll remember"

"Hmm... and why.. exactly, would I be willng to come towards you? I might just be more willing to just venture on my own? You're near a bed... and I'm not so sure...." He winked at Niflh... though he would have never admitted doing so. He leaned against the wall, keeping eye contact the whole side.

"I suppose it would be amusing to see you get lost," Niflh replied, now studying his nails. A short, small humming noise produced from his throat, as if suddenly more preoccupied with his fingertips than his clearly displayed interest for the demon in front of him.

Before Niflh could continue his persuasion, the walls of the room began to shake. The devil almost fell over, yet a rather calmed expression never left his face. The edges of his mouth curved downwards into a frown, for even he was not on top of the situation enough to comprehend what was going on. In few seconds the length of the room seemed to cut in half, as if the inn was closing in on itself.

When this odd change had completed and all had calmed down, Niflh got up from his spot. It was 'odd,' in that his room was never meant to change; not without him willing it, that is. "This has never happened before... How very interesting," He chuckled, his face forming back into a grin.

"Never the less, if you won't come to me.. I will go back to you," Niflh said, taking a step towards Seneth. As he did so, the room shook again, growing smaller as its inner dimensions compacted. This time, the demon looked sincerely surprised, if not rather displeased. By the time he'd actually gotten to Seneth some of the furniture was starting to pile up against the wall's edge, other pieces toppling over themselves. Niflh grabbed the bartender's arm tightly, pulling him and opening the door, then leaving through it.

"This may have to wait til later, bartender," Niflh said, licking the sharp edges of his own teeth. The rest of the inn seemed to be in fine shape, although most would probably be confused at how you could tell, considering the two were now standing in pitch black, as if there was an absense of anything else. Niflh carried on through this darkness, still pulling Seneth with him. There was some sort of inaudible growl in the distance, which faded out as they hit a dropping point, falling down into what was now nothing but white.

"You need keys, or you end up here," Niflh said, looking around. He'd forgotten to pull out his keys when they'd left, yet he'd deny that it wasn't on purpose. Forcefully the demon pulled down on the collar of Seneth's clothes, and bit his lip. "...But I should leave you to wander, for you wanted back to your bar so soon, didn't you, bartender?"

Seneth let out a low growl... "And where exactly would I wander in this white world??" He hadn't moved an inch, though his eyes were now intently set on Niflh's hands, only occasionally would they wander up towards his lip. "And for some unknown reason I have the feeling you have other plans." Slowly so not to anger Niflh too much he repositioned his collar. "I do wish to get back.. though I have no idea which was is up as of this moment..."

Niflh's lips edged cautiously into a grin, an expression which had lately become a common characteristic on him. He enjoyed the idea that Seneth was partly dependent on him to get out, or at least that Seneth seemed to think he was. It was maybe that constant feeling, understanding that on a demon's level Seneth was much higher up than him, that made Niflh want such importance; even if it was only slight. Perhaps, in a sense, it gave him purpose.

Niflh turned from Seneth and began to walk away into the distant white, reaching his hand back only to motion for the bartender to follow. Niflh himself was a bit confused about how to get out, as he'd only visited this room few times before. Yet, as they proceeded his memory was making its return. The room looked exactly the same no matter which direction you turned, but Niflh had previously found out it was what you could feel and not what you could see that lead you out. He reached his hand out, as if following an invisible wall, one which would oddly not be there if you tried to walk through it. The demon stopped, looking back at his friend, and stepped up into what seemed to be the air. He continued, up a staircase of similar non-existence as the 'wall.'

"If you do not believe these stairs are here, then they won't work for you," Niflh warned. It sounded foolish, but it was quite true. If one was to use logic in a room such as this, they'd be unable to leave it.

"Oh alright... cliimbing invisible stairs.. boy Metamorphose has fun.. doesn't she?" He asked sarcasticlly. Quickly his eyes snapped shut and his breathing became steady. Placing one foot in front of the other he slowly climbed that invisible staircase he had just been joking about. "Lead on.. oh Lusty one...." He motioned with his own hand, his eyes still closed tightly.

Niflh stopped for a second, and stepped backwards the few stairs between them. He put his hand on Seneth's chest and pushed him, apparently a bit sour about his choice of words. After, he smiled and continued on.

At the top of the stairs was a plateau, then another staircase. The second staircase, however, could only be about seven steps high. The demon climbed up it, and seemed to disappear in the 'ceiling' of the white room. Beyond this 'ceiling' was a normal room, one that was used for common guests of the inn. Amusingly enough, it was occupied. A young merchant sat up in his bed, rather bewildered by Niflh, who'd just stepped up out of his room's floor. "Just passing through," Niflh explained, waiting for Seneth before leaving out the guest's room's door.

"What?" Seneth had called after Niflh's little shove, which almost sent him flying back down the stairs. "I was just speaking the truth...." He stated taking the last few stairs rather quickly.

"Oh... hello there..." He stated tipping his hat to the merchant he had seen at least three times in his bar.... "How are you this evening..?" The man just nodded as his eyes grew wide. "So... Niflh... which way now?"

"The door," Niflh laughed lightly, pointing to it. They left the room, and were back out to the usual hallways of Metamorphose. Or, at least, as usual as they got. "We're on at least the 3rd floor," He said, looking around. He turned and with one of his keys locked the guest's room behind them, so that the merchant might continue about in privacy. "But you should be able to get back to your bar from here, yes?"

In their short lived adventure the demon's interest had calmed, at least for now. Niflh began down a nearby staircase to leave, but stopped in its middle. He seemed to be waiting for something; and as the staircase began to move and change its direction, it explained he'd been anticipating the inn's next shift. "Perhaps tomorrow, bartender," He said, bidding Seneth fair well for the time being.

"Yeah yeah.. good ridance...." Seneth replied walking down the opposite way. He moved slowly listening for a shift, and trying to find a way back. Sure he could find his bar... from the back room!! Seneth walked completely in a daze for over ten minutes. He heard voices, thoughts though very rarely a shift. Sure every few steps there was a wall movement.. or new tricks in the floor boards, nothing Seneth couldn't detect early enough. Making his way down the hallway he came across another set of stairs. "With my luck... it'll be another never ending one..." Careful, so not to fall off in fear of landing on something slimy or black, he made his way down the single flight. It didn't take him very far. No more than one level.

Niflh, having made it back to the first floor lobby, was leaning lazily at his part of the front desk's long counter. The demon was picking and playing with his keys, even though there was little reason for him to keep post - considering they rarely received new guests or room changes at this time of night. The last of the lobby staff walked passed, and bid the demon goodnight. Niflh waved his hand lightly in return, yet his mind seemed to be elsewhere.

The chime of a small bell soon snapped him from his daydreaming. The bell was one that rest on one of the opening doors to Metamorphose, resembling someone entering the inn. Niflh smiled. Every time they received a new guest he knew it meant one more person who would never leave its halls. A tall, oddly dressed man walked, with a woman of smaller stature trailing behind him. She looked tired, rubbing her pregnant belly as if to console her unborn babe.

"Do you have a room?" the man asked, there was an almost hostile urgency in his voice. Niflh wanted to shake his head, tell them to turn back through those doors faster than they'd come. The demon usually held no soft spot for people, but this time he made the exception; he knew that if the couple stayed here, they would be trapping their child to a life inside of the inn. Before Niflh could deny them though, the man repeated his question.

Niflh smiled this time, and took a key off his heavy ring, handing it to them. The man withdrew a small money purse, ready to pay fees in advance. Niflh shook his head, unaccepting of the pay, knowing their fate here. He pointed at a room that laid just down the hall, one they would have to climb no stairs to get to - for the mother's sake. "Thank-you," the woman said, before following off behind her apparent husband to the room.

"They acted as if being here meant life or death," Niflh spoke quietly to himself, feeling puzzled. Maybe he was just trying to justify why he didn't send them back out. He peered down the hall once the couple had disappeared into their new room, and then up a nearby staircase, and down another hall. He'd seen the bartender no where, and wondered if Seneth had even made it back to his bar yet. He laughed slightly, wondering if he hadn't gotten lost.

Seneth wandered the second or third floor, unsure which one it was. "Alright... come on you owe me..." He whispered more to the inn than himself. He walked faster, no longer caring if he tripped and ended up back in the room of black, or the one of white... he just needed to walk. Not realizing which way he was walking, ment he didn't realize the floor was moving him in a different direction. Down a different hallway. After a few minutes, after realizing he was being moved he smiled and waited. The floor shifted becoming upward stairs. "Oh come on... that's not what I ment..." He hissed. For unknown reasons he took the stairs, three at a time. Instantly, about his third or fourth step, he missed one, and went falling forwards... down and down...

((I might be absent a bit over the next 3-4 days, because of my final exams in school/studying for them. Sorry for this absence~))

After a fair enough period of time, Niflh figured it was safe to see if Seneth had actually made it back. The demon had wanted to go back to his own room, and see what was left of it considering the shrinking state it was in when they'd left it, but had to check. If Seneth really had gotten lost, Niflh would find it, in short, hilarious.

The devil mosied his way around to Seneth's bar, but only to find it empty; save the still sleeping Ubel. He snickered slightly, but had to also imagine that perhaps Seneth went into another room for rest. Niflh chose to assume the bartender was lost instead, though, because that was the more enjoyable optional for him. He turned slowly away from the bar, almost expecting Seneth to be in there, like he could have missed him at first glance or something. He didn't see him though, and decided it was more practical to go check on his room like he'd earlier planned rather than wait for the bartender to show up again. It was not like Seneth was Niflh's responsibility, so he had no purpose of figuring out where he was other than curiosity's sake.

He paused for a second though, sure he didn't see a shadow on the bar's floor. The shadow was increasing in width by the moment, which was rather curious, considering the only thing above it was the ceiling. Niflh stepped beside it to investigate, although nothing - asides from this shadow's presence, seemed out of the usual. He knew it was not a shade, or any kind of guest that took such a form, as he was usually able to distinguish such creatures. Yet, he had no real explination for its being there; maybe the inn was playing tricks on him...

Just as Niflh was about to leave again, the one and only bartender he'd come to check up on, Seneth, fell through the ceiling. The demon caught him, not that he really assumed Seneth needed to be caught. "Do you fall into your bar on a regular basis, or did Metamorphose just help you back?" Niflh asked, raising an eyebrow at the phenomenon and smirking.

"I asked for help, and it gave me some..." Seneth replied stepping back from Niflh. "So why... my good lusty demonic friends do you happen to be in my bar?" His voice was laced with sarcasm. He walked back towards the sleeping Ubel. "Thought you were going for rest..."

{No worries.. I'm gonna be gone for like a week...}

Niflh looked relatively intrigued. "Ah! It never does that for me," He said, throwing his hand into the air for emphasis. Although it was a mix between lies and foolery, for Metamorphose had always been helpful in the end of its trickery.

"If I claimed I came to request a drink would such a thing sound believable?" Niflh asked. He began to walk backwards towards the door to leave, although he continued to face the inside of the bar.
