Ok, what if...and I'm just pulling this off the top of my head...What if, two people had known each other their whole life, and never thought about loving each other, and then when one of them was finally getting married, they both realized they loved each other?

Er, okay. That's kinda... I dont know, cliche. Maybe a different idea.

How about, maybe a prince, or something falls in love with a blind (or deaf, or mute, I personally prefer mute) peasant, and they must keep their love a secret, for some reason or other, and then the prince's parents decide they want him married, and so they find some wealthy girl, and are going to betrothe him to her. And so he has to decide whether to tell his parents that he loves someone else and risk putting her in danger, or go along with the marriage.

That's kinda cliche, too. I guess.
