Never did believe in him actually, it's not at all a convincing version. I know the legend is Hungarian of a Sankt Nikolaus (Deutsch) who put goodies in childrens shoes at the beginning of December.

I never believed in the Santa.
My parents felt it was better to be truthful with us, and from the beginning told us about how Santa was based off of a real person called St. Nicholas who shared what he could with other people in Europe.
I have never felt left out.

I believe I was 5 or 6 years old when I realized that the tags on the gifts were all marked in my mother's handwriting. And when I questioned her about it, she gave me this lame story as an attempt to convince me that Santa was indeed real. LOL Of course, I gave her this look like o_O and that was the end of that. But I never spoiled it for my baby brother. Back then, I thought it was cool that I was let in on the big "grown up" secret so I played along. ;)

I think when I was about ten, my parents sat me down and told me that he wasn't real. I don't remember being very surprised by then, around that time I started to figure it out I guess. I think that's kinda the limit for my parents, because they told my little sister at about that age too.

I never really believed in Santa because my family doesn't really celebrate Christmas. We just give gifts and eat together on Christmas day for fun. I did like the idea of Santa when I was younger though and I like all the Christmas decorations..

Wow, I still somewhat do. I mean, I dunno how to explain it, I'm 18 and still believe in Santa, that's pretty scary I know, but I do. I like to keep it alive, I know.. deep down that he's not, but I like to believe it, I even got a computer chair from "Santa" this year. I'm trying not to spoil it for my brother too, but he's already at that age where it's like "No he's not real." I tell him to shut up though, xD otherwise I don't get more presents. xD

Err, until I was in, like, seventh grade? D: My parents made it very convincing, using many different wrapping papers and handwritings and even sometimes spelling our names wrong! > n<;

That's Brilliant! I'm totally doing that for whenever I have kids.
Yeah, I stopped believing in santa when I realized all of the name tags were in my Father's handwriting, and that they stocked up massively on wrapping paper. Now we do away with presents from Santa and just give presents to each other. I think I stopped doing stockings a long time ago too, I think we stopped them 12 years ago? We haven't had a fireplace for 12 years. Nowhere for Santa to come in :(

I'm not exactly sure but it wasn't for a long because we didn't have a chimney. I was like how does he get into the house? My dad said back door but I knew that was a lie. Also there are like twenty different santas at the mall. I was like weren't you just at target five seconds ago and why are you skinny?

I believed until i was seven then me and my sister stayed up and snuck downstairs in the middle of the night when we heard some kind of noise and saw my mom by the tree putting the presents there and eating the cookies so i t was kind of my sisters fault for not stopping me XD

I have never believed in Santa. That shiftless layabout has never delivered a single present to me.
On the other hand, I was never a good boy...
Or a boy at all, for that matter.

I believed in Santa until I was in fourth or fifth grade. It's a fun thing for a kid to believe in. My sister or I would wake up really early, around 3 or 4, and wake up the other one. Then, we'd tiptoe to the living room to see what Santa brought us and peek into our stockings. Good memories. We did the same sort of thing for Easter.

I think I was either 10 or 11 when I stopped believing in Santa. I'm not entirely sure which, though I'm really leaning towards 11. I think I had figured it out awhile before that, though- but I didn't want to believe it. ^^;.I only accepted it when my parents finally told me.

I believed well into 6th or 7th grade. I'm a little embarassed, I suppose, but I really did like the idea of a kindly man working to bring toys to good boys and girls.
However, I did always wonder why it showed his elves making stuffed bears and wooden horses..... but we would get the toys like Barbie and Hot Wheels cars. I figured the elves made those too, lol.

I never believed. My father had apparently had a very traumatic experience with having the truth about Santa revealed to him, and decided that he would never raise his child that way. So from a very early age, I understood that Santa was a cultural icon, rather than a physical person.

I don't think I ever believed/.
Most things about the whole Santa thing were illogical enough for me to realize it wasn't true. Didn't beleive in an Easter bunny either. Maybe if it had been made more logical I would have believed. Even if you are very young you quickly realize that one person cannot fly around the world in a single day, is able to fit down chimmneys sp? or that magical reindeer exist that will pull a flying sleigh. The whole tale is very far fetched.
I don't know why not since I was convinced by a religious school to believe in some wacky stuff which was just as illogical. Such as dead people turning into angels or that there was a tiny angel whisper ing positive things in one of my ears and a tiny devil whispering in the other one. Pure nonsense....
