Until I was six.
I have two older siblings and they 'enlightened me' on the truth behind Santa Claus, aka Dad.

I have never believed in Santa Claus, except that there really was a man named Kringle. My parents didn't want their children believing in silly stories, and I'm glad for that. xD

I believed up until I was about...nine, I think. Maybe 10. I didn't really have to be told, I just kind of figured it out from the way the adults talked about him.

I believed till I was about.... 13 or so. I held onto my childhood :C I can't say I ever stopped believing in the spirit though.

haha, that was the same for me. Although I was trying so hard to believe he was real. My last REAL Christmas list had 100 items on it. Most of which aren't actualy possible.

Until I was nine, and happened to be awake when dear Father Christmas was stumbling around in my bedroom. "He looks just like my dad!" I thought, and then I realised why.

Till I was six.
The kids in my class ruined it by telling me.
I told my parents the next year. I just said, 'Santa isn't real is he? He's you.'
They didn't deny it.
I'd found out so why try and make me believe again?
I didn't cry over it though. I still got the presents and I didn't like that man in the red suit anyway.
I screamed my head off when I was younger. He scared me. XD

My parents told me he didn't exist when I was 5, at four they had pretty much given up hiding gifts for me. At 6 my sister's mother in law was telling them to let me be a kid and tried to get me to believe in him again....I tried just to humor her, it failed. Mom tried making be believe in the tooth fairy, too bad I was a light sleeper as a kid (still am.)

I was around six or seven or around that age. I caught my father wrapping presents, so that was when I stopped believing in Santa. (Though I'm pretty sure I found out that Santa wasn't really before that.) When I was around ten or eleven I thought about how people came up with Santa. xD I came up with strange solutions, although they were mainly jokes. I still "believe" in Santa, I just know the truth behind it, if that makes any sense. : )

Oh god, I was not only an only child, but I had this belief that my parents WOULD NOT LIE TO ME, nor would the WEATHERMEN ON TV THAT RADAR TRACK. I mean, the proof was right there.
I was really old, I want to say I was in 3rd grade. I was so mad when my parents told me. I was all defending them and crap for years. I don't think I've still forgiven them, lol. I don't get that whole lying to your kids thing. You can still do santa/tomten/grandfather frost but at least don't lie to your kids.

I never did. And I was always a little afraid of the mall-santas.
Because I knew they were dressed up and had the mentality of 'what kind of sick person wants to dress up like that and get little kids to sit on their lap all day'
Always thought of it as a bit creepy.

I'm not sure what age I truly knew there was no santa.
But from even a really young age I was always suspicious. Same with the Easter Bunny. I would always try to hide out and sneak a peak to see them, but my brother would either rat me out, or I would fall asleep.
Edit:
One of the few reasons I had believed in him for awhile is because I once had a very very realistic dream where I snuck out and saw him. So, I always thought that had actually happened, and usually set out to prove it again.
@ Zombie - I'm 17 now, and I have friends that always say we should get pictures with santa when we're in the mall, but those Santas creep me out too.
The only thing I can think when I see them is a dirty pick-up line that I heard once. "Come sit on my lap and we'll talk about the first thing that pops up."
So whenever I see those santas I just think they're creepy, pervy, old men

I believed in Santa until the first time he used the same wrapping paper as Mom and Dad >.> Then I got suspicious and dreadfully curious! Which didn't last too long, because the moment they were gone, I raided their closet and found the wrapping paper, and an unused tag that said "From: Santa" on it, which was slightly torn on the corner. ; ;

I believed in Santa until I was eight, but for my grandparents' sake (they loved the whole Santa bit) pretended to believe in him until I was eleven for their sakes. I finally stopped pretending to believe when I saw my grandpa bring presents from "Santa" the day before Christmas and put them under the tree. I stopped believing in the Tooth Fairy around the time, though pretended to believe up until the same time, but still got quarters until I finished losing baby teeth. :XD I stopped believing in God and unicorns around the same time as Santa and the Tooth Fairy.
Eight still feels like the end of innocence for me and I'm not even sure what really brought it about.
