Til about 12. I caught my mom in the act of the presents appearance under the tree TT-TT Working at Toys R us now, I have to talk to kids about Santa, so theyll be good and not be greedy before Christmas.
"Santa was in here asking us about how the kids behaved. He comes in all the time. He asks us about it because we see it first hand, so if youre not good to your mommy, we'll let him know..." the parents give me a 'thank you'; look and add to the story, the child then believes it and stops, usually.

I believed in Santa for a while, until I was about 11 or so.
I wanted so hard to believe he exsisted. When I was four years old, my father, his brothers, and his father all created this elborate suprise for me, making it seem like Santa was in the house and leaving the presents under the tree. One of my uncles climbed on the roof of my grandfather's house shook bells and walked around and gave the classic jolly laugh like Santa. Another uncle made sounds of Santa going down the chimney and my grandfather and father put the presents under the tree. To me, that was enough proof that Santa was real and had me convinced for years.

I out grew the stories of Santa coming and leaving gifts under my tree, but there is still a part of me that sorta wishes and believes in him.

I believed in santa until I was about 6. I noticed the same wrapping paper from both santa and my parents, and I also noticed the same handwriting. And even after I asked my parents, they still insisted that he exists that they were just helping him, I never believed them though.

I was skeptical of Santa, but my family kept insisting he was real for years. Kind of annoying because I figured they were adults and would know better than me. :sarcasm:

Actually... I'm not sure. When I was very small, around when I could talk but before I could remember much, my mother said i figured out there was no Santa. I looked on the street corner and looked at all the different Santas around. One on the corner with a bell, one with children on his lap taking pictures, one on the fire truck... apparently I realized, "There is no Santa! He's everywhere!"

If that story is true... Jesus. I'm impressed with myself.

However, I must have forgotten I knew he wasn't real, because i do remember leaving cookies and whatnot. I mean, I had a feeling in the back of my head he wasn't, but i guess I played along because i enjoyed it.

...Somehow, though, I believed in the Easter Bunny much longer... I guess giant rabbit with eggs just made more sense at the time.

I never believed in Santa. (Honest)
My mom told me point blank as soon as I could understand the concept that Santa does not exist. (I'm fine with that by the way)

I believed in him up until I was seven years old. I stopped believing because every Christmas, I would fall asleep on the couch, waiting for "him". Until, I heard this mysterious noise near the tree, and opened my eyes to see, none other than my Mother.

I believed in Santa until I was about 6 when for the holidays, my father had kicked us out into the street and we had no place to go. Mom broke down crying telling me there was no Santa, and that's why I wouldn't have any presents that year - it wasn't because I had been bad.

But... I don't think my life is any worse for growing up believing there is no Santa. Because I've got wonderful friends, and a loving mother, and I don't need anything else on the holidays. =3
