Elliot kind of chuckled at Seven's lie. 'Club, yeah right.' He thought. He wondered how long it would take for these two girls to fully trust his friend. About a few weeks at most since they had already become so infatuated by him, well at least to Elliot they did.

Jem raised an eyebrow. She was a bit suspicious about this club. "What kind of club is it?" She asked.

"As any other club is likely to do, our club is based on needs. We provide tutors for even the hardest classes offered at this school and some college level courses. In addition to this we have a way for people to socialize and make new friends along with food that is far better than anything you could find..." Seven began to explain.

"FOOD!" Lydia interupted with enthusiasm. "I just love food, good food of course because there is nothing like good food."

"You interupted me," Seven snapped a bit harshly, upon realizing this he apologize lightly though it did not seem genuine at first. "As I was saying it's for socializing and tutoring, if that is needed."

Seven seemed only slightly pleased with himself at the moment, a darker side of him partially revealed to them though he hadn't intended it to happen.

Lydia had backed away from Seven at this point, hiding slightly behind Elliot without realizing it. She took advantage of her height in this situation because it was easier to hide behind someone when you are short. She was petite also, which added to the chances of her not being seen.

Elliot noticed Lydia's retreat and stepped in front of her for more protection. "Don't worry, he's not that big of a monster." He muttered, hoping a bit that Seven didn't hear. He really didn't want to deal with his temper later when they were alone.

Jem jumped a bit when she heard Seven's outburst. She could feel the anger in his voice and it made her ever more suspicious of him. And yet, she was curious why he was so angry. "Your club sounds.... interesting." She replied quietly.

Lydia looked up at Elliot with curiosity and smiled sheepishly. She hadn't completely realized she had attempted to hide behind him but his motion had embarrassed her beyond belief. She was silent though, watching with interest.

Seven had noted his harshness at this point and felt a twinge of guilt but it passed quickly. He looked from Elliot, who had heard speak but he knew the words to be true, and then back to Jem.

"I apologize for that snap," he said to Jem. "I just have a tendency to get annoyed when people interupt me. It's something I'm working on."

It was another lie but he didn't care, as long as he could get away with it he was fine. Then if he couldn't get away with that he could always say that he inherited it from his father and it was impossible to rid himself of.

Jem raised an eyebrow. She could pick up from his voice that he was lying. Her special power increased her hearing and all but she feared that if she said anything there would be suspicions raised. Luckily for her, the school bell finally rang.

"I-I should get going." She announced as she turned to the school, "I'll see you Lydia, Elliot." Jem paused and made quick eye contact with the older boy, "Seven." She blushed and started for the school without another word.

Lydia jumped when she heard the bell and the grumbled slightly. She was excited to see what this club would be like but wasn't admitting it out loud quite yet. She paused slightly as she glanced at Jem as she left. "What time and where is this club?" she asked Elliot. She was one hundred percent sure she wanted to join, it sounded adventurous.

Seven had sensed that Jem knew he was lying but he didn't say anything. He waved slightly and then left also. He had one of his easiest classes for the beginning of the day and he knew that one of his members would be able to get him to cool down in there, at least enough so he could concentrate long enough till lunch, then he would probably skip lunch and go on a run instead.

"It starts right after school." Elliot replied, "It's the last room in the third floor hallway." He didn't feel he was needed anymore so he started for the school without another word.

Lydia nodded shortly before she ran to class also. She was worried she would be late and since it was the first day her anxiety was heightened a little. She wanted to make a good impression but she was certainly looking forward to this club.

After everyone had left Seven made his way towards the administrative office. He usually spent his first hour there because he was a student assistant of some sort. This meant he essentially had some free time to think about what he would do. When school got going he didn't homework during this time if he wasn't sent on errands.

Jem headed for the administrative office, checking her schedule with a confused look. The class she had first period didn't have her name in the roster, so she must have had a mix up with the schedules. She wasn't looking where she wasn't going and bumped into someone. "Oh! I'm sorr-!" She stopped short when her blue eyes met the familiar green eyes of Seven.

Seven was a bit shocked that was bumped into. He jumped slightly and almost turned and yelled at her for doing that. He stopped though when he saw who it was.

"Are you lost?" he asked, knowing that he could help, or at least thinking he could help to some degree.

Jem blushed and looked to the ground. "I-I need to get t-to the administrative office..." She mumbled. God must hate her for something because Seven was the last person she wanted to see right now. Something was off about him and he also did something crazy to her heart.

"Oh," he said calmly. "I'm actually heading that way. I stay there for the first hour of the day."

He wasn't going to say why because that would just embarrass him. He lied about his age a lot of the time to make him appear to just be a guy that's more mature. The administrative office wasn't actually that far away from where they were at this point and he could almost see it from where they were.

"How nice." Jem said. It was the only thing she could think of right now. She stood there for a few moments before blushing in embarassment. "Can you show me where it is?" She asked.

"Of course I'll show you the way," he said with a slight smile. He was capable of being nice although it only showed in front of certain people. He was smiling at the moment knowing that he would be able to be more genuine in front of this girl. He was a bit frightened though.

Jem blinked. Was it her imagination or did Seven seem a bit afraid? She knew why she had to be afraid of him, but what was wrong with the older boy? Was it... her?! She shook that thought out of her mind and gave a small smile. "Then shall we go?" She asked quietly.

The reasoning for being a bit frightened was not clear but if it showed it was minute. Someone would be able to tell and he had a feeling that it might show. He looked around for a minute and then set forth, making sure that she was was following him or next to him.

"The administrative office is usually extremely easy for new students but it depends on your ability to navigate," he said with a more stern expression.

Jem blushed in embarassment and looked down. "I have no sense of direction.." She stated apologetically. She was such a screw-up...

'I bet I look like a loser in his eyes now.' She thought sadly.

"I've been here a while," he admitted with a sheepish grin. He paused slightly and took on a more solemn expression. He could be more real with her but there was his reputation and besides he wasn't comfortable with being genuine in front of people, besides he couldn't be weak in front of the people that had destroyed him.

Jem stared at Seven's solemn expression. "How long have you been here?" She asked curiously. She never been inone place very long and she wondered what it was like.

"Since I came here," he said not really wanting to admit that he had been here four or five years now. He was essentially here for his fifth year and he would definitely not admit that he was about 19 at the moment. "It's just been a while." He glanced around a bit to check to see if anyone was watching who knew his age that could reveal was they thought he was. "The administrative office is close now."

"Oh." The conversation ended to quickly for Jem's satisfaction. She followed him along before daring to ask another question. "What classes are you taking Seven?" She asked quietly, "I might feel more comfortable knowing someone in my classes." She was telling the truth, even if she didn't completely trust the boy in front of her.

"First period I'm in the adminstrative office," he explained. "The line up follows with Physics, Senior English class, Senior History Class, Psychology, and Philosophy." He relaxed a bit when he saw the administrative office. The walk had seemed to take forever but they were going at a somewhat slow pace and he wasn't really paying all that much attention so he could have accidentally taken the long route.

"This is the administrative office." They'd arrived.

"Thank you for taking me here." Jem thanked as she opened the door to the office. She walked inside and stood there, looking as though she was in deep thought. Then, she slightly turned to Seven. "Um... I have Psychology and Philosphy with you." She announced softly.

Seven nodded slightly and seemed to not care much at first. He entered after her and felt a bit of excitement spring from within him. He quelled it easily and didn't show any hint of excitement. Philosophy would be interesting this year. He'd taken a different course in it the previous year but he was interested to see how it would work on in this course, which covered more of the basics.

Jem walked up to the desk and dealt with her schedule change. The secretary looked for any open spots on her computer and shook her head. "The only one open is office work here." She told the red-head, "Guess you'll just have to work here." Jem just stared at her, but nodded nonetheless. Did God just hate her or something?

When Jem took her schedule back, she walked over to Seven. "Um... I think I'll be working with you here too." She announced shyly. Half of her was excited to have another class with the older boy, but the other half was frightened for the exact same reason.
