Sadly, its hard for me to let things go since I'm an emotional person I feel the pain as fresh as it was dealt with the day it happened. I am usually the one who turns the cheek quite frequently. I hate to say that my 'get revenge' never has worked if I do it myself. Usually if I let things run its course it's taken care of by karma. Karma always seems to reel its ugly head so I'm not often worried. I think it's the big man's way of saying turn the other cheek because that may happen to you.

I find that a lot of people don't understand the term
"to turn the other cheek"
it doesn't mean to be passive and allow them to walk all over you

It means that once they slap you in the face,
you turn your cheek and say
"Now hit me on the other side,"
because you're stronger than that
and what they're trying to do can't faze you.

After learning what that scripture means
I've personally been a "turn the other cheek" sort of girl.
I never feel like taking revenge anymore
because whenever someone does something to me, I honestly don't care.
It shows their insecurity.
Like the "turn the other cheek" thing says,
I'm not going to run from them,
hell, they can try to hurt me over and over again,
it'll never faze me because my life's bigger than that.

... easier said than done, though ....

I do understand what the Bible says about turning the other cheek and I do it.

I don't really seek revenge, but I don't turn the other cheek and just let things slide either. It takes a LOT to truly anger me. I am a very positive person, so I rarely stay upset. I also dole out second chances way too easily, but if you fuck up badly enough, you will know that I'm done with you. I have no qualms about completely cutting people out of my life.

Sometimes it's so much easier to seek revenge...but I don't do either. I just hold a grudge for a while. After that while is up...I end up getting over it. But I don't forget about it >:]

I myself don't seek revenge. But sometimes when a friend sees I have been wronged, I can't control what those friends do as revenge....

It depends on how dire the situation.
I usually don't respond when someone makes a nasty remark to me (mostly because I'm too stunned to think at the time) xP
Mean looks, little pranks- I just ignore them.
But if someone tries to take my rights, I will speak up. D<
