I find that a lot of people don't understand the term
"to turn the other cheek"
it doesn't mean to be passive and allow them to walk all over you
It means that once they slap you in the face,
you turn your cheek and say
"Now hit me on the other side,"
because you're stronger than that
and what they're trying to do can't faze you.
After learning what that scripture means
I've personally been a "turn the other cheek" sort of girl.
I never feel like taking revenge anymore
because whenever someone does something to me, I honestly don't care.
It shows their insecurity.
Like the "turn the other cheek" thing says,
I'm not going to run from them,
hell, they can try to hurt me over and over again,
it'll never faze me because my life's bigger than that.
