Have you ever told anyone something, only to be completely misunderstood? Perhaps you were on a date and they were hanging around, so you told them that a third wheel is one too many, and so they end up taking two of the tires off of your car? Or perhaps told them that they weren't the sharpest pencil in the box, and they put their head into a sharpener.

There are many ways to misinterpret popular sayings, and that's what we do in this game.

For example, I may say: "Two wrongs don't make a right."

But you might interpret that as: "If you take two wrong turns when driving someplace, you'll never end up to the right of where you intended to be." (Hmph. Not the best example, but it's illustrative.)

The sentence to be misinterpreted may be any setence, not just a famous saying or popular phrase. Essentially, this game uses the same sort of skills that the 'Wish Corruption' game uses, except that while that game works on the basis of misinterpreting wishes, in this game, the sentence to be misinterpreted does not necessarily have to be a request.

In any case, I'll start off:

"Love is lovelier the second time around."

The word "love" somehow always ends up becoming the word "lovelier" when you write it twice.

O.O I know it's a stretch.

Do I add a new one, or does someone have to misinterpret mine?

Just in case it's the former....
"His wheel is spinning, but the hamster's dead."
