Hey YuenGuon, welcome to Mene~

I'm MORBiDUS, by the way. Nice meetin' you. I hope you enjoy your stay here, and that it's a long one. I've definately been liking mine.

If you want, you should check out: http://www.menewsha.com/forum/commun...-4-2008-a.html and http://www.menewsha.com/forum/commun...ing-guide.html
They're incredibly helpful, in my opinion!

Don't forget to read Mene's rules as well, if you haven't gotten around to doing that already~!

But anyway, you said you'd talk to us if we said something you think is interesting?
That's a hard one to try and achieve (I'd love to be your friend, so I'm certainly trying!)
 What kind of things exactly are you interested in? You have any hobbies, or anything like that?

Perhaps some of your hobbies will point you towards some of the games Mene has, or the which forums here you might enjoy the most, also.

I love knitting! Although I only make easy things. I made an awesome Ravenclaw scarf for my sister and I have a bunch of others starting. I'm also in the process of knitting a ton of squares to make into a blanket. What kinds of things have you made?

I sew a little too. :) But only for cosplay.. although I have the fabric to make a lolita skirt and capelet lying around as well.

omg! i made a ravenclaw scarf too! it took me forever =3
i've made all sorts of things, hats, scarves, armwarmers, legwarmers, stuffed animals and toys.

i've sewn a couple things like skirts, jackets, pants and dresses.
I might be sewing a little something for my next cosplay.
what cosplay have you done?

That sounds really interesting. I'm not really much for knitting/sewing/making my own clothes like you two, but I quite wish I was! I'd love to be able to make such things, yet I've never really gotten around to ever learning how to.

:) I do like cosplay, though. I haven't done much of it myself (and I'm pretty picky about what I will do), yet I'm pretty fond of it. I've never really done it in public though, its more so for my own amusement.. Kind of a guilty pleasure, y'know?

What is your next cosplay going to be, do you know? Or whats your most recent?

:D Thank you very much for the add, by the way, YuenGuon~

Ahh my scarf took ages too. I did it using a circular needles so it was like.. twice the amount of knitting for a flat scarf. I bet leg/armwarmers would be similar in concept, just a little smaller. I had a roommate who liked to knit crazy things like hats with video game characters on them. I don't know how to switch colors like that though.

Oooh what cosplay are you planning?
So far I've made a vest for my Natsuki (Mai HiME) cosplay, Meiling's (Cardcaptor Sakura) battle outfit, Chidori's (persona 3) crazy white normal outfit... but my pride and joy is a knee-length peacoat for my now-ex's Shinjiro (Persona 3 again) cosplay. I hand-punched studs into it and everything.

i only recently started cosplaying last year. I cosplayed as Go Go Yubari from the Kill Bill movie.
This year I plan to cosplay as Ada Wong from Resident Evil 4 and a female version of Gambit from Marvel comics.

i used a circular too! haha it was really a challenge, because i had just started knitting. leg/armwarmers pretty much are like that too in smaller form. They take less than a week if I really work on it. I know how to switch colors, but I don't like to change colors a lot because I always have a hard time with it.

Ah Go Go is awesome!! And your other plans sounds great too :)

I liked using the circular because it meant I didn't need to know how to purl. xD I still don't quite have the hang of that yet. And switching colors just looks all.... tangle-y to me. o_o;;

i loved being GoGo! So many people asked for a picture or two. <3
Circular is easier in so many ways haha. I also don't like the mess of different yarns.
what other things do you like to knit?

>.> The best part of cosplay is when someone likes your costume enough to ask for a picture.

So far my knitting is limited to scarves. And lots of flat squares for that blanket. I don't know if I'll ever finish that particular project though.. it was for a present. Except I don't think the person it was meant for will want it anymore. =|

Well hopefully I will still be able to finish it anyway. :)

I like to doodle every so often, both on paper and on my tablet. And I love my little DS like nothing else. <3

doodling!
i sketch a lot of things. I actually made up a group of comic characters.
I have yet to sit down and make them into an actual comic.
What do you normally play on your DS?

My doodles aren't that great really... I get comic and story ideas and then get sad when I can't make them look as pretty as they are in my mind. x_x

I play lots of games on my DS. I have a card and grab roms to try things out and then buy the things I really like. I tend towards puzzle games (so long as they don't rely on color) just because they're fun for long periods of time. Although I do like games like Fire Emblem, etc. Do you play any games?

Ohh, maybe one of these days I'll actually use my characters for a story plot for a comic or something.

T_T if only i had one! I've been really wanting one recently, but I need to save some money. But if I had one, I'd probably be in the same idea with the puzzle games.
Do you play on any other gaming platforms?
