eep. Sounds bad, Cyn. O_o Don't envy you fixing that. We don't get termites... but we deal with carpenter ants. A lot.

No, there's no danger of him jumping into the fan. It's a new one that slides into the window, and the slats aren't even large enough for his paws to fit through, so all's good there. My only concern is him going for the empty window while the paint is still drying. Of course, it's not easy with him up there, as he always seems to want my attention, and I can't give him attention while I'm trying to paint the walls.
Looks like it will be another night of sleeping on the couch for me. I don't mind, except that I'll probably get to bed later than I want, and have to get up even before it's time for me to do so. =( I've still got places that need touch ups, and the corners where the walls meet need to be repainted, cause I have two different colors of paint up on the walls. Not to mention, my brother is doing the trim around the walls and windows in white, which he'll be doing some this week. Hopefully I'll be able to put my room back to rights within a couple days.
@ Cyn: o.O I though it was bad when I talk to my animals, but inanimate objects? That's certainly interesting. XD Though, I'm guilty of doing that myself. XP

Glad your kitty's not in danger from anything but being painted. *giggles* When my late hubby and I painted out bedroom his cat went around for a week or more with a blue nose. My two cats wouldn't even come in the room. *laughs* Dingo's nose actually was painted while we were playing. ^_^ He was such a fun goof. :heart:
I hope you get your room back together soon. Fresh painted rooms are so nice.
.... once the fumes die down. ;) Of course.

Trel: Haha... I can't afford to fix that. XD We just don't go in that end of the house. >.> We already had to have to bathroom fixed because the tub was about to go under the house. lol
And yes, I'm a nut. XD;
Max: Well that's good. X3 Haha I only have wooden walls in my room, so no paint for me. >.> Otherwise I'd probably just have them all white. lol
But I've been sleeping on the couch for the hell of it lately... I still need to change my bedsheets. XD; Kitty hair.... @[email protected]; THe sheets are supposed to be maroon, not white. lol
And yes...I'm a nut. lol
My computer tells me things... XDD

Yes, well, I've been under the rule of other people, usually my sisters, for several years when it comes to paint colors in the room. The last time we painted the room, I had no say in the color, and was left to do a good portion of the room, as well as finishing up. =( This time, I'd been thinking about changing the color of my room, and taking it a darker green than the 'Spearmint' it was before, as well as getting rid of the Barbie pink trim, but I was willing to wait. Fortune smiled upon me, though, as when my brother got the paint, the girl at the store made it too dark for his tastes, and I now have a Pine Green and Rich Amber room, which is far better than the dollhouse looking colors of before. The trim, which was the pink, will now be taken back to white, which is much better looking to me. <3
I've got pictures up in my 'Paint the Room' album under my profile. There are before, during and the so far after. When my brother gets done with the trim, I'll post those pics once I've got my room back together. =)

Apparently yellow rooms make you more prone to arguments. I like how your room sounds, though. Mine is white and we can't paint because we're renting. Although if we cared, we could probably convince our landlord. He's real laid back. He let us have two cats when we weren't supposed to have any. And we haven't signed a new lease yet, so technically we're paying squatters. At least he's having the landscape guy come by more often. Wow, that was way longer than I expected it to be...

Trel: I don't think the razor could handle it... XD I'd about as soon burn them if they weren't new. lol
Max: Oooh pine green sounds nice. :3 I like the sound of what you're doing a lot better than the old colors... Haha... I would have to gouge my eyes if there was pink in my room.... XD;
I like that mirror. OwO

Thank you! <3 I certainly do like the new colors far better, myself. I almost feel closer to nature, and the green certainly promotes that. The amber, as far as I'm finding, promotes welcoming, warmth and cheer, so I think this is a pretty good combination. <3
You'd never want to enter my sister's room, cause she's got this bright pink all over, as well as lots of High School Musical. XD I try to go in there as little as I can stand, just for how bright the color actually is.
Thank you, again. I do love the mirror, myself. It was actually part of a bedroom set that was my grandmother's, though almost all of the other items that came with the bedroom are gone. =( I wish I had some, especially as I don't have much in the way of furniture in my room, plus it would all coordinate. =)

Haha, you're welcome. ^^ I love green, green and purple... lol
I like mostly solid colors though, so if it was me painting I'd probably be leaving out the yellow. lol I dunno, it depends...accent walls are sometimes nice in some rooms... lol I can't see the whole room so I don't really know how it looks. XD
But I also have very funky styling tastes that no one else seems to like, so I can't say much. lol
Your sister's room............sounds scary. XD I'm guessing her age at around 13? lol
Oooh...Well judging just by the mirror looks like it would have been a nice bedroom set. *nods* I love mirrors... haha I don't know why, I just do. Or at least the round ones or the ones with a fun shape.

Well, it's hard to get a nice picture of the whole room, as it's kind of in shambles, with all my stuff in the center of the room, but even with that, I was trying mostly to get some idea of what the colors look like together, and show a comparison.
She's actually just turned fifteen. *rolls* She was even suggesting neon bright colors, like lime green and neon pink, that I would just hate to have anyway, cause I'd have headaches with the light on, and still need my sunglasses to even try and sleep at night, just from how bright the room would be. XD
It was a nice set. She had a bed, the mirror, and a vanity table, as well as a tall chest/dresser, though I hated it because it was a pain in my room, standing seven feet tall. With the way our house is, the walls go straight up for only half of the height of the room, and then start a slope into an A-frame, which makes for many bumped heads. XP
I'll have to make sure and get a picture of the whole room when it's complete and put back together. =D
I'd rather have solid walls myself, with the only accent color being on the baseboards and trim around the windows, but as it was, there was really only enough for each color to cover about half of the room. So, I made it work.
On another note, I've had that Caramelldansen stuck in my head since watching that video last night. XD

lol Well they don't look that bad, anyway. XD Green and yellow go together well... probably about the only color I like yellow with... lol
Eh....I take that back, it's okay with purple, too. lol (Everything's okay with purple. LOL)
But yeah, anyway.... lol I like the sloped walls, I think they're neat looking. X3 Though the head bumping would get irritating. lol I think the room will look nice once you're finished. *nods* Grrr at the paint for not covering the whole room. lol
I was close...ish. XD Haha High school musical made me go "AHHHHH" XD;;
And Haha!! XD It's great, isn't it? *does the dance* XD
I'm getting "Bad Boy" stuck in my head... lol

It was worse with the bumping of heads when I was on the top bunk of a full-twin bunk bed. We had it situated just so it fit with the curve of the wall, and I used the top bunk, so I had to be careful when sitting up so that I didn't hit my head everyday. XP
Yeah, she got HSM 3 and Twilight both on the release date, and of course, just HAD to watch it that night. >.>;; I can't stand either, so I stuck in my headphones and enjoyed my music, on a kind of loud level. It drowned out pretty much everything else. XD
We may have been able to stretch it, but then I'd probably have some of the old green peeking through, so, it seemed better to do it this way.

Haha oh god that would suck. XD I could just see someone yelling and you sitting up really fast... *CRACK* lol
I haven't seen any of the high school musicals... I just like the song "I Don't Dance" from...whichever one it was on. Haha one of my other friends hates Twilight, too... XD I don't hate it, but I'm not like...obsessed with it. I've read all of the books and the Midnight Sun thing online, but I thought after the first book it dragged and then the ending just....sucked. And the movie made me laugh because it changed some really minor things that made me go O.o wtf?
I now officially own the "I ♥ Boys Who Sparkle" T-shirt, though... hahaha... XD I walked into Hot Topic and saw that and just busted out laughing. XD I mean I knew what it was talking about, but honestly if you'd never read/seen Twilight, then that shirt is so random... XD I told my Twilight-hating friend about it (I said I was tempted to buy it just because it made me laugh so hard) and she snuck out and bought the thing for me....and then I nearly fell over laughing all over again when I opened the present... XD;;
I do not like the sparkling vampire thing at all...it's just weird. >.> I think if you're going to let a vampire be out int he day, fine, but god, don't make them look like they fell in a tub of body glitter.
And ending that ramble... Haha yes, I think a half green half yellow job would look better than a slop job... though....depending how you did it, a little of the old green peeking through could look cool... XD Like...sponge on the darker green over top of it or something... lol
Neeeever mind. XD

Oh why hello everyone :)
Sorry I've not been around much the last few days, went to see my friends band at the pub on friday and didnt get back until very late :p
I was up and ready for 11am on the saturday too so i was on time to Manchester to meet Jeanie ^-^
Also made it up for yesterday my birthday by 11 as well so i didnt do too badly. I didnt drink last night either, feeling quite good now actually.
My acid reflux makes it bad to drink so i dont drink very often anymore just on special occasions or a couple of pints with my dad occasionally.

Yes, Fairy.... my sleeping schedule is completely screwed up and flipped around backwards. XD;
On a normal day, since I have no specific times I have to be up and doing anything, I get to bed around 9am and wake up about 7pm. >.>;
