Hey guys how are you all? I haven't been here in a while I lost the thread and was too lazy to search back my posts but I had a little more time today ^^

Fabby I was wondering just that when I came in. I guess the Admins and Mods have been very busy, I don't mind waiting cuz the items that they have given out so far are amazing and have made me forget the whole competition thing :heart: I love the 2009 shades and my Yumeh Pop and also the Yumeh slippers we have been waiting forever! :heart: it was worth the wait for those so I think it'll be worth the wait for whatever anyone gets from the competition. I frankly think we won ... but I could be wrong ^^'

I'm pretty sure we did. Do we get a prize for that? I hope so....
@Jeanie- I'm doing well. Today was the first day with my new English teacher because they were at the inauguration. I've had a sub for the past 2 days. This means we watched all of schoolhouse rock. X)

Hello, I've got all my stuff for revision now but I have a very bad headache. This week doesn't like me, first I got rained on, then I got hailed on, then I got snowed on, then I balls'd up my exam, then I nearly fell on my ass walking to the train station to get home, then I had my essay which started crap but ended pretty all right, we took my Gran all the way to the hospital for her appointment and they'd ball's it up so it was a wasted trip and he struggles getting in and out of the car as it is :gonk:, now I've got a headache and have to revise for my exam tomorrow and if that wasn't bad enough I'm having my girlie part of the month. :cry:

But I like what my avi looks like, I know the balloon doesn't really go but Johnny gave it me and I don't wanna take it off. :XD

Edit: I've just got an e-mail from one of my teachers for next semester, there are only 2 of us signed up for that module so she wants to either do it as tutorial, so I basically teach myself, or I pick a different module. I've been through this with my personal tutor I don't have any other options I have to do that module. -_-

My exam tomorrow is only 3 essay questions but one is seen which is meant to link the two aspects of the module together, it's personality and developmental psychology, and I have not got a clue how to answer it.

Wow, Jeanie. That is something that is way out of my range of education, except for making up some crap estimation of what it may be, especially with no knowledge on either subject. :sweat:

The only thing I can think of it that maybe aspects of personality are conveyed through the use of language. :cry: I'm so crap at this now, I used to be good in college I was 1 mark of an A in one of the exams in college, I've never been one mark off an A before I've never been anywhere near an A before, or after for that matter. :gonk:

We're studying that right now! Different countries have different ideologies that are expressed in their language. From the way it sounds (Guttural German, for example) to the ideas said therein. There is a certain Hopi tribe that doesn't have a past tense, only a event that has manifested, and one that hasn't manifested. Also, someone taking a personality test in French will express greater sexuality and a greater love of vacations than the same person taking it in British English. So the language you grow up with will subtly shape your world view.
