I've never lied about my age, mostly because I've never had to. When I was in the 7th grade my mom and I could wear the same size shoes because we were just about equal in size. When I was 13 and went to a pet store, their rule was no one can hold the puppies unless they're 18 or over. The clerk was handing one over to me when I backed away upon hearing this rule (because I'm a goody two-shoes who follows them. XD) She gave me a funny look and asked how old I was. She didn't believe me when I told her she was about five years off.

Do I wish I was younger? Always. Mostly for two reasons. One is I'm a huge kid at heart. I enjoy fairy tales and fantasies and playing with my imagination. I get excited over simple things and nothing comforts me like a cute stuffed animal. The other reason is I'm terrified of death. Of it all ending, it all being over. So every year I creep closer... *shivers* Yeah, I try not to think about it.

I feel like I'm in my thirties despite being childless. (My mother constantly reminds me that I was FOUR when she was my age.) I'm sure that feeling will increase when the hubby and I finally do get around to having kids. XD My appearances however have slowed down to match my actual age, and most people can guess it correctly... although I tend to act a bit more immature than I really am unless the chips are down. XD

When not with my own age bracket, I like hanging out with mature kids. We seem to balance each other out, me being a bit of an immature adult. XD

And for the record, (again, not that I've ever lied,) I'm 24. Turning 25 this June. :3

That sounds tough, looking much older than you actually are.
I have friends who have been plagued with older men hitting on them
and people getting mad at them
thinking that they are much older than they actually are, all the time.
I used to complain about looking so much younger
(when I was 14, I could still pretend I was only 11 to get into places cheap
...

But it sounds like growing up looking much older sounds just as tough,
if not, worse.

I don't really know how old I feel, to be honest. Not young, but not old either. In the middle?

People say I look 11-12, but that I act the age I really am. (Because a person heard me talk, they could tell how old I was.) A lot of people tend to guess based on how tall I am (4'10"), and that automatically somehow registers me in their mind as a kid. My mom used to pass me off in restaurants as an 11-12 year old. It was horrible, really. She probably still would if I lived with her. I think she only did it because I wouldn't ever really eat that much when we went out to eat.

I don't really wish I was any other age, really. I just wish people wouldn't guess my age just based on how tall I am.

I've told people the age I really am. It shocked most of them, but I did tell them the right age. (It only shocked people IRL, not online.)

Uhh, let's see.. My friends generally tend to be younger than I am. Some are as young as 13-14, and some are about my age or a little older.

I haven't taken any tests like that, but that was a little strange. XD;

I am actually 18. :)

honestly I hang out with all ages...I have some older friends..lots of friends my own age..and lots of friends youngerthan I ...I think I get along with just about all age groups..so long as we have something in common ^_^

I am 25, I'll be 26 in March.. I dunno, I never really was the type to want to be 18 or couldn't wait til I was 21...(I was already doing bad things then) but I am glad that those around me are not necessarily affected by my age... alot of people have age descrimination issues and I laugh at them... I feel that you are as old as you feel, and everyone no matter there age, is still a person, and should be respected as such..

Right now, I feel about 80. I have this stinking cold and cough and all my muscles ache from coughing fits. xD But usually I feel about 10, rly childish like.

People say I look 14, ALWAYS 14. Never more, never less. Just fricken 14. >/ As for act, I dunno. I have a childish side and a rly mature side. . . Depends which I care to show at the time like.

Always told the truth, never seen any reason not to. Noone ever believes the truth though, they all think i'm 14. Dx INSIST it.

I think the youngest people I hang around with are like 15-16 and the oldest 20-21. They're all my college mates. :]

I did the wii fit one, I got 18 years and I was at the time. So proud of myself. xD

I'm 18. I've been going to college for two years, so I'm a bit more mature than most kids my age. (I call everyone kids I might add, xD)

But now I'm no longer the youngest person at my college because there are more kids my age and I feel sad.

Definitely. I'm now precariously close to 23, but it feels like barely a couple of months since I turned 20.
