The whole towns people actors exploded onto the stage, cheering and jumping up and down. With that, the curtains closed, and opened again to the bowing actors. This time Vance did not step forwards. The curtain closed and the actors dispersed.

Charlotte found her chance and stepping into the back. She knew most of the costume makers from other plays she'd seen, but the actors were new to her. Walking around through the people trying to leave she looked for the young man.

Small props had been left on the floor and costumes hung over other random things. It was messy, but that was to be expected from a play that just ended.

Vance was chatting with one of the other actors, saying how great the play had seemed. The other man agreed. Vance let out a cough into his handkerchief and apologized.

Charlotte really didn't want to disturb him, but he was the one she was looking for. Still she could wait a few while he conversed. While she waited she looked around at some of the costumes left around and the small props. Charlotte loved everything about the theater; there was just something about that made her feel alive. A bright smile ran across her face as she lost herself in everything

Vance nodded and bowed, he looked down at his scuffed shoes and started rubbing at them with his hands. "It's the dirty stage." he rubbed his shoes against the stage, getting the dirt off. He straightened his composure and his shirt, and walked towards the door.

Charlotte smiled when he spoke unable to tell if he had addressed her or was talking to himself. Looking down she saw that the rim of her dress was starting to tinge from the dust.
"Yes well with everyone so busy is hard to clean." Charlotte smiled as she turned to him as she walked passed her.
