This is a private RP between Sasha1985 and MORBiDUS.
--------------------
You've got two friends;
They've been friends for a while now. The first has always been more responsible, and the second a bit more of a mooch. Still, they've always gotten along enough in the past, so the idea of being room mates didn't seem so bad.
They've got one place;
They moved out for the first time. Together they share a small apartment, which everything seems to be going along smoothly enough with.
...And a blossoming interest;
Little were they suspecting that living together could rapidly turn their friendship into something more. It'll slowly unfold how things progress . . .

A young man was sitting contently, lazily, infront of a television screen. Lazy, thats how Dontae liked to keep his life... Although he had another word for it, and that was 'easy going.' To him, it sounded better. To resumes it sounded a lot better too, something he hadn't handed in for a while, having spent the last bit of his time mooching off his friend slash room mate.
A videogame controller was caught loosely in the young man's hand, apparently the source of what kept his eyes glued to that TV, captivated his attention from all the other worries in the world. A loosely fit t-shirt he was wearing could be seen from where there was an opening in a blanket he had wrapped around him, wrinkling up as he sunk further into the comfort of the couch he sat on.
For the moment, the only thing that brought Dontae back to reality was when his game abruptly ended, his last 'life' in it being taken from him. He brushed a loose strand of dark hair from his face and set the controller down by the console, over looking a piece of paper that sat next to him. Dontae picked the paper up, rubbed it in his fingers lightly and read over it once again; he already knew what it advertised. It was a flyer for a party that was being held this Saturday, or rather, tomorrow. He had been waiting to tell his room mate about it, wanting to see if he was free and invite him along.

Phillip parked his car in his parking spot in front of the building where he and his friend/roommate lived. He got out and walked into the building and went up the stairs, he always liked to keep in good shape so he always took the stairs instead of the elevator. Finally he got to his 3rd floor appt. and made his way to number 375 and dug his keys out of his pocket and opening the door seeing his roomate/friend strewn across the appt. with a flyer in his hands Phillip walked over to the couch looseing his tie to take it off and setting his suit jacket on a coat hanger that he installed next to the door and putting his shoes underneath it. Phillip went over and plopped down on the chair next to his roomate.

Dontae's face lit up with more enthusiasm than a child opening presents on Christmas day, as he heard the clicking of the lock on the door. He knew this meant his room mate, Phillip, was home, and felt that meant a release from his current state of near catatonic boredom.
"How'd work go?" It was Dontae's form of a greeting. Despite his aforementioned joy to have his friend home, he was hiding it rather well. The young man was still half zoning out at the 'GAME OVER' picture that was so brilliantly displayed on the television screen. He leaned over and handed Phillip the flyer he'd been looking at, giving him a chance to read it too. "You wanna go?" He asked, referring to the party that the paper detailed.

"Well other than most of my employees slacking off for most of the day which made it so i had to do most of the work and got none of the praise then it was alright. How was your day? Get to any new levels on your game thingy yet?" Phillip asked then Dontae handed him the flyer he had in his hands and asked him if he wanted to go, it was about a party in not to far from there. Phillip scratched his chin a bit trying to think if he needed to do anything productive this weekend or not. He always had the weekends off but sometimes he needed to finish projects for work and such, but he couldn't think about anything that he needed to get done. Besides he really wanted to hang out with Dontae this weekend he missed him, of coarse he wouldn't tell him this or how much he actually missed him. "Umm yea I think I can make time for it." Phillip simply replied. and looked over at his friend still starring at his game over on the screen and smiled knowing he wouldn't see him smiling.

"That's horrible," Dontae said, making mention to how Phillip had described his day. He smirked to himself as his friend asked about his game, realizing that really was all he'd been doing lately. Dontae slicked back his hair, he thought he had more of a life than that. "I think I went down a level," the young man joked, his gaze moving to the carpeted floor that rested under their feet.
"Really? You'll come?" Dontae asked, unable to conceal some of that growing excitement in his tone. It'd been a while since him and Phillip had really gotten to go out and do something together. Even if they lived in the same apartment, he felt like it'd been eons since they'd really spent time with each other.
Dontae got up from his seat on the couch, slowly making his way over to the kitchen. "I'll make supper tonight," He offered, his fingers tapping against the mini-kitchen's counter, as if in thought about what there really was to eat. He opened a cabinet door and then the fridge, seeing they were rather short on groceries; that wasn't all that unusual, though. Phillip had work, and Dontae was no enthusiast with going to the store, so it just didn't always get done.
"...Or, maybe take out?" Dontae said, rephrasing his previous thought. He was already searching the phone book for a order-in number, not waiting for any confirmation. He waltzed back over to where Phillip was seated, snatching up a phone off the receiver beside him.

Phillip chuckled at his level comment and when Dontae responded so enthusiasticly (sp?) he smiled. "Yea I thought I'd come it might be fun." Phillip said trying to conceal his joy over Dontae's joy over him going. he never got to see him cause he was always working, work work work thats all he seemed to do these days, he didn't even have time to see his own roommate! Oh well he was spending time with him now and this weekend. When Dontae offered to cook he knew he'd probally not get far cause he didn't get the groccery shopping done this week cause of work and he knew Dontae wouldn't do it. So when Dontae suggested take-out he wasn't surprised, he just called out a faint. "Uh huh you pick something." But he knew it wasn't for anything cause Dontae would have anyways. and this makes him crack a smile. Phillip gets up and walks to his bed room calling. "Order something, I'm going to get changed out of my work clothes." As he heads to change. He changes into a pair of jeans and a comfy t-shirt that he thinks Dontae might have bought him for last years christmas. When Phillip emerges he goes and plops down on the couch grabing the remote and changing it to tv and swithing it to some mindless sitcom while waiting for the take-out to arrive.

Dontae had finished ordering when Phillip had gone to change. It'd been from another nameless Chinese joint, the only thing standing out between it and every other restaurant with such cuisine being the neat little packages they offered on delivery.
He set the phone back down on the same receiver he'd picked it up from, considering how to bide his time for the next thirty minutes; the amount of time the delivery service promised they would take. Of course, the food never seemed to get there that quickly, and they'd long since taken off the, 'if its not there within x amount of time its free' deal, due to inability to live up to such promised service.
Dontae ended up taking a seat on the other side of the couch from his friend, propping his legs up on a nearby coffee table. "Nice shirt," He commented as he did so, it had seemed oddly familiar. He couldn't quite place why, but it was certainly on the tip of his tongue. "Did I get you that..?"
Dontae would have quickly disregarded any form of conversation for the noise of the TV, except for that the conversation was with Phillip. In any normal circumstances, any form of programming would have captured his thoughts; yet, tonight Dontae's full attention was on his friend. Not that he really made it all that apparent, his eyes reflecting the flicker of the TV's picture as it changed with each new scene.
It was nearly a full hour later before the apartment buzzer went off, signifying their food's arrival. Dontae got up to go answer it, pushing in the intercom button and speaking into it. "Who is it?" He asked, fully knowing there wouldn't be anyone but the delivery guy to answer. "Wok's delivery service," the voice replied, it was a bit fuzzy over the apartment's system. Dontae hit another button which let the guy in, going over to the door to wait for him to make it up the three floors to their apartment.
In the meantime, the young man dug through the miscellaneous of his pockets. He pulled out a couple crumpled paper bills, it was a wonder he had any money at all in his name for the moment. Dontae was studying a small tare on one of the twenties before being greeted with a knock on the door; undoubtedly it was their food, finally making it all the way up. Dontae checked through a small peek hole before unlatching a little metal chain and unlocking the door - presumably these were the only forums of security that the apartment offered.
Dontae was a bit disappointed to find out their Chinese delivery man wasn't even Asian, and felt a bit ripped off at the price as he handed over the money he owed for the food, trading him for it. He closed the door, bid the guy good bye and set a plastic bag full of boxes of the food on the table. Picking one of the containers up he walked over and handed it to Phillip, along with a pair of utensils. He did the same for himself, sat back down on the couch to stare into the colored matter of the TV, apparently not caring to make use of their table.

As Phillip sat next to Dontae on there couch he was very aware of him. When he asked if he had gotten him that shirt. "Yea I think you got it for me last christmas." Phillip replied going back to observing Dontae out of the corner of his eye being able to see the tv change in his eyes and the way he sat so causually on the couch like he had not a worrie in the world. It tool the chinese place almost an hour to come. He saw Dontae get up and push the buzzer asking who it was when he knew very well who it was, Dontae always did that when they got take-out, which was alot. Phillip could never figure out why he did that maybe he just liked to make the dilivery guy work just that much more cause of his lateness or he forgot that he was ordering food he didn't know and he guessed he really didn't care, He liked Dontae as Dontae. As he thought that he heard the knock at the door and the chinsese food pass into Dontae's hands then Dontae handed him a container of food and some untesils and got himself some and took his spot back next to Phillip. Phillip continued his watching of Dontae as he ate both of them absentmindly chewing away at there food watching but not really watching the tv. he liked this though just sitting with Dontae eating dinner and of coarse they never really used the table, he didn't even know why they had a table cause they never really used it.

((I was about to say the same~ Night! ttyt. ))
Dontae had slowly finished off the contents of his container, leaving a few pieces he hadn't been fond of to the corners. In all honesty, he wasn't even sure what half of the food parts in the assortment were. He ended up setting the box down in the corner, there'd be time to throw everything away some other day. To Dontae, there always was. Procrastination seemed to be his skill, if only it had come with joy and pride on the subject.
"I'm gunna be hitting the sack early tonight," Dontae said, with a yawn. He'd have stayed up all night just sitting there with Phillip, if he could. As the young man got up to head to his room, he wished he was spending it with his friend. Dontae stopped in front of his room mate, outstretching his arm and leaning forward for a quick, friendly hug before he retired to his bed. "Don't change your mind about that party tomorrow, Phillip," He warned, knowing it'd break his heart if he didn't come.
Dontae put the remainders of the take out in the fridge. He then made his way down a short hall, pushing passed the clutter of clothes that stood in the way of his room's door. He took off the pair of sweat pants he was wearing before crawling into his bed. They were thrown in with the rest of his laundry, all of it sprawled across the floor without further care for it; Dontae's clothing acted more like a second rug.
It didn't take the young man long to fall asleep, yet he found himself dreaming about what he'd longed for, for a while now: to be with Phillip. He felt guilty for those thoughts, wishes, constantly trying to dispel them from his mind yet being unable to do so. Even still, those thoughts had also brought much ease and comfort, regardless of his distraught conscious.

Phillip watched Dontae pick apart the last of his food and set the container down on the coffee table, he knew that he was about to pick it up and throw it away phillip would do that when Dontae went to bed as he just mentioned that he was going to bed earily Phillip frown inwardly but made no sign of dissapointment. "Alright, I think I might do the same." Phillip said knowing there just wasn't anymore of a reason to stay up without Dontae up. "Don't worrie I will be there." Phillip reassured Dontae as he watched him get up and walk down the hall to his bed room. Phillip got up and grabbed the empty containers of chinese food and discarded them into the trash and cleaned up the living room and kitchen and then decided that it was time for bed. So Phillip walked off down the hall to the room across Dontae's looking at Donta's door longing to be in there with him, A thought which he tried to banish but could never seem to make it go away, So he stripped his t-shirt and jeans leaving his boxers and put his dirty cloths in his hamper to be washed on Tuesday. Phillip's room was very tidy nothing out of place eevrything in order so that he knew where to find it if he wanted it. He got into his already made bed snuggled up with the blankets and started to drift to sleep and dream about wanting to be more than just friends with Dontae, something he wouldn't let his consious mind think about, but this was a dream he could do anything he wanted to in his dreams. Phillip drifted off to sleep with a smile thinking about what it would be like to be with Dontae right now.

Dontae awoke to gentle sunbeams shining in his eyes, through the blinds of a small window in his room. He rolled out of bed with a slight yawn, lazing out of the room in surprise that he'd been the first awake. Although Dontae knew he'd slept first, he had a habit of sleeping in, and Phillip was usually up before him.
For Dontae, it didn't take much effort to weigh his options of starting the day: food, or a shower. The young man wouldn't have minded starting things off with breakfast, although figured he'd go for the latter of the two instead; in attempts to wake himself up a bit more.
The bathroom was down a bit more from their rooms, although not by far. Feeling a bit more considerate this morning, Dontae had decided to walk over and into it relatively quietly, allowing his friend to sleep in. He wasn't usually one to think of anyone more than himself, but he made that acception with Phillip.
Dontae stripped of his remaining apparel and stepped into the shower, twisting the knobs to get it started. There was a loud creek as water traveled down rusty pipes, the apartment's plumbing wasn't always that satisfactory. The young man was greeted with a steady pour of freezing ice water, frowning slightly that the building was somehow already out of hot water. At the very least, it woke him up.
When Dontae had finished his shower he stepped out to a towel, and proceeded through the rest of his average morning ritual; simple things like drying and combing his hair, brushing his teeth, and the like. With the towel securely around his waist he went back to his room to change into his clothes, probably the only fresh ones still left in his room. Satisfied with that, he went off to get breakfast.
Breakfast, to Dontae, was really just more left over Chinese food. He pulled out another container from the fridge that he'd put in last night, and slowly poked away at it. The young man had, had the option of cereal, but nothing quite hit the spot like cold take out.
Dontae had taken up his usual spot on the couch, waiting til his room mate might wake up before he really started the day. His eyes fell on the left over party flier, smiling slightly at Phillip's promise to come with him. The party was tonight, and the young man was rather eager to attend. Yet, what really brought up his excitement was that his he was going with Phillip.

Phillip woke to the sounds of the pipes squeaking he always was a light sleeper, He was amazed that he had slept longer than Dontae, he must have been tired. He tried not to picture Dontae in the shower, he was awake now no more of that he had to put his mind back into check. This took Phillip a few minuets and when he had securely put the nights dreams safely away he got up made his bed went over to the dresser and got his robe out, went down the hall and into the bathroom stripping his boxers off and stepping in then turning on the water but noticing quickly that it was freezing so he cut it short and hoped out throughly frozen, he wrapped a towel around himself walked over to the counter and brushed his hair a bit and did his morningly shaving and he threw on a little bit of aftershave flinched a little when it stung him a bit then put his robe on and went back into his room and over to his dresser and got out a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, checked himself in the mirror and walk down the hallway and into the kitchen grabbing himself a bowl of cereal he could never eat leftovers for breakfast, he'd save that for Dontae. Phillip grabbed his bowl and went and plopped down on the couch next to Dontae. "Morning Dontae." Phillip said trying make it sound casual not letting on how glad he was to see him.

Dontae leaned over Phillip as his friend sat down next to him, pretending to be more interested in his room mate's cereal than the morning greeting. The young man picked up a solid piece of Phillip's cereal with his chopsticks, moved back to where he was originally sitting, and ate it.
"Morning Phillip," Dontae returned, finally, with a coy smile resting on his face. It was his way of excusing himself for having picked at Phillip's breakfast. In reality, Dontae didn't care about the cereal. He wanted a reason, any reason to have moved closer to Phillip, even if it was only for those few seconds. Dontae wasn't really sure who the reason was for, though: his room mate or himself. He'd never fully understand why, but he was in some denial over his feelings, even with how strong they'd become ever since they'd moved in together. It felt like so long ago now that it was hard for him to recollect on; not that he'd ever forget it.
"You got any plans today?" Dontae asked. He was still holding the Chinese food container, even if he'd long since finished his left overs off. He ran his hand through dark hair as he thought about what they could do till this evening, already assuming Phillip to be free for the day.

Phillip inhaled lightly when Dontae leaned over him to steal a piece of cereal from his bowl, Dontae usually did this. Phillip didn't care cause he loved the way Dontae smelled he couldn't quite figure out what he smelled like or why he liked it so much and when Dontae returned his greeting with that coy little smile it made him smile automaticly and made strange butterflies flutter in his stumic so Phillip looked away and when Dontae asked him if he had any plans he pretended to ponder it over a minuet fully know that he had no plans hoping that he would be able to spend the day with Dontae. He didn't know what they would do but he really didn't care as long as it was with him he really could care less. "Hmmm, Nope, none that I can think of, why?" Phillip responded

(( Yeah, sorry about that! I didn't leave you with much of an opening to respond to. D: My apologies~))
A thousand answers formulated in Dontae's head when Phillip asked, 'why'. His mind was flooded with things he would have liked to say, sweet things, things that would never leave his mouth. The young man shook his head slightly, straightening out his thoughts. Instead of everything he could have answered with, he responded simply: "We should go out somewhere."
Dontae got up, and this time, the lazy young man actually ended up throwing out his container. He walked back over and looked out glass doors in the living room, ones which lead out onto a small deck. "Isn't there a park somewhere.. uh.. over there?" He asked, peering outside, trying to locate this supposed 'park' he was thinking of. It'd been a while since Dontae had really appreciated nature or the outdoors, so he wasn't all that sure of many nearby landmarks.
"Uh.. you don't, have any ideas, do you Phillip?" Dontae asked, a bit unsure now. In all truth, the park he'd mentioned was non existent, yet he hadn't remembered that. Being a person of the moment, though, Dontae was ready to go where ever they wanted whenever his friend was.

Phillip looked at Dontae as he seemed to think about what to say and finally just shook his and told him that they should go some where. "Yea that would be fun." Phillip replied. He watched as Dontae got up and threw his container in the garbage and started staring out the glass door talking about some park that didn't excist. But Phillip was too distracted by trying not to notice the way the sun hit Dontae's face or where he would really like to go with Dontae that he didn't hear him asking him if he had any ideas, so he simply responded with a. "Huh? I'm sorry I didn't hear you." Phillip said now being the one to shake his head It feeling like it was full of thoughts that shouldn't be there but inspite his best efforts kept coming back and he didn't know what to do with them or weather they were right or not, and surely Dontae would never talk to him again if he told him about these thoughts, surely Dontae would be wierded out because surely he wouldn't have these kinds of thoughts, surely....Phillip always babled when he was nervious at least Dontae couldn't hear his little battle in his head not calm collected Phillip ranting about this kinda thing, what would his coworkers think? His employee's would think less of him...and what about his and Dontae's friends....He had to stop thinking he had to find something to disstract him. So he got up and went to the kitchen to wash his bowl and put it away for something to do.

Dontae laughed at himself lightly, realizing Phillip hadn't been listening to him. It didn't bother him though, he'd found his room mate to be zoning out a lot more lately. The young man just figured his friend's mind was else where, on business matters, or something of that variety. The sort of complicated things Dontae would allow himself to have little of. He rathered a relaxing life, one that would completely satisfy him if he could just have that one, last desire: Phillip.
Before Dontae could rethink of a place to go, or suggest anywhere else, the phone started to ring. He nearly leaped to picked it up, seeing it as an escape from the awkwardness he was experiencing.
"Hello," Dontae greeted, casually, his index finger hitting the 'TALK' button before speaking. Dontae listened to the voice on the other side of the phone before walking over to the kitchen. "It's Jane," He said to Phillip, covering the bottom of the phone so what he was saying couldn't be heard. Jane was one of their friends, one who almost always managed to convince them to get up and do something. Dontae had to confess he wasn't all that fond of Jane at times, but luckily, he was feeling a bit more tolerable of her at the moment. "She wants us to go shopping," Dontae continued, relaying the rest of her message to Phillip.
Dontae didn't really like shopping. And he even more despised shopping with Jane. But Jane had hung up before the young man could protest the invite, insisting she'd be there in less than twenty minutes, so they had best get downstairs to catch a ride from her. Dontae had to admit, at least he'd be with Phillip. Jane usually ended up ditching them anyways, to look at her own stores and do her own thing, so it gave a bit of a solution as to what they were going to do to pass the time. Such was the usual sort of meet up Jane devised, planning quick get-togethers you couldn't quite get out of. "At least we know where we're going..." Dontae mumbled.
Dontae, knowing they'd be forced to go against their wills by Jane, went to go put on some socks to finish his outfit, as well as fix his hair a little more. When he was finished he stuck his feet into a pair of beat up sneakers, and waited at the door for Phillip.

Phillip jumped at the sound of the phone but thanking it for interupting his thoughts. As soon as he heard that it was Jane on the phone he knew that they were going somewhere when Jane called it wasn't to ask for them to come do anything it was to call and say 'Hi this is where were going be ready in this many minuets' but then thankfully she would always ditch them so Phillip didn't even respond to Dontae's relaying Janes's question cause he already knew the answer to it. Phillip laughed when he heard Dontae mumble something about at least they knew what they were doing. Phillip went into his room grabbed his nice black hoodie threw it on and put on a piar of nice tennis shows and went out towards the door where Dontae was standing. "Well shall we head down stairs before the evil shopping demon arrives?" Phillip said trying to sound serious but almost busting out laughing doing so.

((Don't worry about it, I'm really fine with any form of literacy, anyway. Besides, everyone has off days/posts. ))
Dontae shot a grin at his friend, barely holding back his own laughter. It was becoming all that much harder to conceal his feelings for Phillip, especially as he admired his sense of humor. The young man opened the door and held it there for his room mate, both of them stepping out and into the hallway. Dontae checked his pockets and realized he hadn't had a key on him, so he left it to Phillip to lock the door.
By the time the two of them had made it down the three stories worth of staircases and to the parking lot door, Jane had arrived. Her car wasn't in the best of shape, but it was holding up pretty well considering how long she'd had it. "Phillip! Dontae!" She shouted, greeting them both with a sweet smile. She had rolled down the passenger side window to do so. Dontae knew that innocent smile of hers really had quite some malice behind it, considering Jane was always planning something evil, with the way he saw it.
"Jane," Dontae said, unable to even fake any enthusiasm upon seeing her. This wasn't unusual of his greetings to the girl, though, so she thought nothing of it. The front or passenger's seat was covered with boxes and other clutter of Jane's, so both Dontae and Phillip would have to sit in the back.
Dontae walked around the rear of the car and opened one of the back door's, getting in. He didn't bother with his seatbelt, seeing as with Jane's junky car, it was probably bound to fall apart anyway. They waited for Phillip before driving off to what Jane had decided their destination to be: the mall.

As Phillip and Dontae and had arrived at the parking stucture below and heard Jane squeek out a greeting Phillip just waved a hand trying to be polite and saw Dontae get into one of the back seats and saw that Jane's front passenger seat was full so that Phillip and Dontae would have to sit in the back. He didn't mind of coarse he really didn't want to sit next to Jane any ways. Phillip got into the beat up car and tried to put his seat belt on finding out quickly that it didn't work so he quickly gave up on it and turned toward Jane."Shall we go then?" Phillip said Jane only replying with a shake of her head and starting of her car. So they were off pulling out of the parking stucture out onto the the highway, it wouldn't take long for them to get to the mall it was only a short drive on the highway to get to the mall. In a manner of minuets they were there at the mall. As they pulled into a parking spot Jane announced the obious. "Were here!." she almost sang in her squeeky voice. Phillip just looked at Dontae for a moment then opened his door and got out closing it behind him and waiting for Dontae and Jane to get out as well.

Dontae started laughing as Phillip looked at him, knowing they were both more than likely thinking the same thing: Jane was obnoxious. "Hey! Whats so funny?" Jane asked, as Dontae got out of the car. The young man just laughed a bit more at how oblivious she was, managing to quickly cough out a, "Nothing, Jane" in the process.
Jane pulled out her keys and locked her car, although Dontae figured there was no reason to lock it, considering it was unlikely anyone would want to break into it anyhow. The three of them walked along together towards the mall's main entrance, Jane far too overly cheery as always and Dontae loathing her for it. Even if Jane was annoying, though, she did have her up sides and was still their good friend.
Almost as instantly as the trio hit the doors, Jane was already running off. There'd been a large sign denoting a 30% off sale at one of her favorite stores, and so she booked it. "I-I gotta go guys! See-ya!" She said, barely able to pronounce a full sentence in her excitement.
Dontae scratched his head, puzzled as usual as to why they had to tag along when she always ended up bolting off. He gazed around the shopping center, not really seeing any stores of major interest to him. "Ten dollars says Jane gets lost in the mall," Dontae bet, giving Phillip a grin. The girl was so absent minded, she usually did.

As Dontae started laughing it made Phillip laugh also and when Jane asked him why he was laughing Phillip just shook his head not being able to say any thing because he was laughing.
As they entered the mall and he heard Jane sputter a sentence stating her departure that Phillip knew was coming, It always did. Phillip watched Dontae as he looked around the mall looking to see if any of the stores interested him.
Phillip laughed when Dontae bet him $10 that Jane would get lost, Because she always did she would ping pong from store to store till she was tired then she didn't know where she was and usually had to ask cashiers in the stores how to get out.
"Yes, but how long do you think it will take for her to get back here? And where do you think she will end up and who will she ask for directions this time?"
Phillip said between laughs. Jane had ended up on the other side of the mall last time and had to ask the pretzel boy how she could get back, it was quite funny.
Phillip now done laughing at Jane turned to Dontae. "Where shall we go while we wait for her? Do you have anything that you need to buy? What are you wearing to the party tonight? I'm not sure what I'm wearing I might need to get something 'cooler' to wear most of my clothes are bussiness clothes."

Dontae smirked, remembering some of the more wilder stories Jane had told of herself getting lost, many which himself and Phillip had been there to witness. "Depends on how long it takes her to get lost," Dontae said, biting his own tongue lightly.
"Whats cooler than business clothes?" The young man joked, pushing Phillip's shoulder lightly - in a friendly way. Dontae started to walk forward, but ended up stopping to turn back to his room mate. "Let's forget about waiting for Jane, we'll find you some clothes," He said, plucking at Phillip's shirt as if to gesture towards or emphasize 'clothes.'
Dontae was the kind of guy you could easily consider a party animal, and having often attended many, had really no concern for his own wardrobe. The worst the young man would have to worry about was having clean ones. Yet, even if they were searching for clothes for Phillip, he liked how his friend dressed. He wouldn't have even minded if he'd come to the party in business attire, even if everyone else would have thought it a bit odd.
"What about that store?" Dontae asked, pointing in the general direction of what easily could have been three different stores. Considering only one of the three was actually a clothing store; the other two being trinket shops, it was relatively easy to see which he'd meant. It offered a more casual style, and it probably didn't hurt to check. Although with anyone else Dontae could argue otherwise on that statement, as his dislike for shopping tended to mean it did hurt to check, he couldn't complain with Phillip. Everything seemed so much more appealing with Phillip that things he would usually find laborious just didn't matter.

Phillip just laughed and shook his head at Dontae's comment about Jane. Phillip just looked at Dontae when he said what was better than bussiness clothes. "Umm everything." Phillip said chuckling.
When Dontae tugged on Phillip's shirt he just smirked. Phillip looked where Dontae was pointing and saw that there was only one clothing store abouts there. It didn't really matter where Dontae picked, he usually had good taste. Phillip trusted Dontae to pick a good store.
"Yea that sounds good to me." Phillip really didn't care for clothes shopping even though he had to do it for his work clothes. But when it came to casual clothes he was clueless, and he wanted to spend some time with Donate anyways.
"Yea if you help me pick out clothes maybe your good taste will rub off on me." Phillip said with a smirk and sideways glance at Dontae as they were walking towards the store ahead.
