Yup. I think it's pretty good too.

So I'll stay with this for awhile.

...until I think of something else anyway!
lol...

Well, you see...that's the advantage of getting old.
You can have the same conversations over and over and never get tired of them!

I am NOT getting in the shower tonight!

I am NOT.

Because I found a big hairy brown spider in the bath. and even though I washed it down the drain, now I have a very real fear that it has survived my attempt to drown it and will come crawling back out of the drain while I'm in the shower.

I'm one of those people that, when I see a spider, will hold a shoe threateningly but if the spider makes one little move, I'll just randomly throw the shoe in the general direction and run screaming.

The spider was in cahoots with the drain monster, and he would have eaten your toes!

lol...it was from a cartoon called Rose is Rose.
The little kid was always scared of the drain monster eating his toes.

I take it that you weren't ever worried about something coming up out of the drain?

I was convinced for years that itcky little bugs crawled up out of there.

Oh well...
My brothers must have told me that when I was little...

I was scared of roaches coming from the corners because they looks like the magnets that hold the shower curtain down. never considered being scared of the drain.

I have a house built in the '40s, so every once in a while, we find a bug in the bathtub or sinks. Not the kitchen sink, though. We did the dishes too frequently for the bugs to think of coming up the kitchen sink. Especially after the kitchen got renovated and we got a new sink with a separate faucet with a water filter for drinking water.

I'm glad I have never seen a roach here. Spiders...yes...I stay away from them...or I throw stuff at them...or I go get someone else to kill it.

I don't think roaches live where I got to school. we get moths and locust. also these little bitty black bugs I don't know.

There's roaches on my campus. I'm glad I don't live on campus. :D They also get a lot of stink bugs there too.
