The cruelest wrapping I ever did was for my uncle, his gift was wrapped in duct tape. *giggles* he called me up and cursed me out. I couldn't stop laughing.

No. I wrapped it into newspaper first, then put the duct tape on the gift. He still complains about it eight years later

Gads, that reminds me...I need to shop for the grandkids.

We don't do presents in my family anymore...just for the little kids.

So I have to get the stuff ready to ship off to Alaska and Minnesota.

Aha! So today is veteran's day. That explains why I was seeing kids around when I went for my walk...

Nope, just the one roll. It wasn't a huge gift.

Jean, yep veterans day and stuck at work. Just seventeen more minutes. Then it's home for more baking.

that reminds me of the time my mom put my brothers gift in a box and wrapped it up all nice and when my brother went through the tissue paper in the box, he only found something he already had. finally he found the slip of paper hiding our in there that said what his real gift was. now he gets a lot of presents that are a piece of paper in a box (things like going suit shopping, or getting my dad's old car).

Kat, we were cruel to my dad one year, we wrapped a series of empty boxes from small to large and inside the small box was a riddle he had to follow to find the next clue. It was worth it though...he got box of underwear we dyed for him.

One from the heart. We dyed them ourselves. Some even had a bullseye done on the butt. He liked them. We're an odd family. Heh

Hubby and I didn't have kids, but he had two kids from a previous marriage.
They each had two kids, and they call me Gramma!
