I don't think I've ever used a toaster oven.

That's my second most used thing. XD

The toaster oven is good if you want something crunchy.

If I have leftover fries, I put them in the toaster oven.

My george foreman grill is one of my favorite things to use. Since my apartment complex takes forever to fix things and I have two burners not working on my stove, that little grill comes in quite handy. And the fat just drips right off.

one of my burners doesn't work, but it doesn't actually bother me. I only ever use one at a time.

There are times when I have two things going and need a third burner...drives me crazy. Hate having to have them fix things here, or even clean things up. Last spring we had a pigeon take over the back balcony, so there is bird crap everywhere, which is a health hazard. When we signed the lease in July, we asked them to clean it up...still hasn't been done. So, we don't open that door.

I know it would take a while for people to fix things around here, but they would eventually do it. I haven't asked.

Pretty sure we will be looking for another apartment complex come May or June. Our Lease is up in July.

that's probably for the best.

Yeah, if they aren't doing what they are supposed to be doing, looking for a better place would be a good thing.

Not to mention...walking up three flights of stairs is a pain...especially with groceries and in 120 degree weather. Gross.

I'm glad the apartment i live in is only two floors with outside doors to get into your own apartment and not have to walk through places to get to yours. But we still have to walk up a flight of steps as soon as we are in the door. My mom is starting to have problems getting up them when carrying things now. :/

I'm on the second story and the stairs are outside where they get wet or snowy. the snow does get cleared off those thankfully. one day I couldn't even see my stairs! it was a ramp! D:

Boy, I sure don't miss the days of apartment living.

But someday hubby and I know we're going to have to sell the house and get something somewhere when we start needing help.

Our stairs are covered, so when it rains we are covered from that. Not sure we can find a place with as cheap of rent as we pay here. One of the things that holds me here. If we could get one of the updated apartments on the ground floor, I would be okay with that...I suppose.

Oh my, Kat.....we have to do all our clearing of snow ourselves! Unless the people down below us clear it off first. XD

I've never had to get an apartment here in Texas.
Well, we were in one when we first moved here.
It was a corporate apartment though, so it didn't count.

When I was on my own I lived in 6 different places.

I have only lived in the house when my parents were still together and then I moved out with my mom to this here apartment and we are both still here. I've never even lived in a dorm...I also commuted. :D And still commute! I graduate in May.

Oh, I didn't count dorm rooms.
Let's see...when I was in college I lived in 5 different places.

I guess technically you wouldn't have to count dorms...but if you lived in an apartment while you were in college, that would count.

I lived in one apartment...my senior year...
