That's nice that Texas does that. One of these days we need to visit Amarillo during the no tax weekend.

That's what I was going for.
Kinda the pinkish color that you get with dawn.

There was a sunset one, but that was just too orange...

It makes me think more of a scene from the 2005 Pride & Prejudice.

Pride and Prejudice? Really?

That's kinda strange.

I guess the green gown makes it look more like Christmas.

Yeah, I think it was after Mr. Darcy had written that letter explaining everything? And she spent a long time just in her nightgown, in the house..

Well, I don't think it was her nightgown.
They had some dresses in there that looked a bit like nightgowns.

That's the one that had Colin Firth as Darcy, right?

No, the 2005 was Keira Knightly and Matthew McFadyen.

Ah yes. I saw part of that one, and turned it off.
I didn't like it. It looked like they had pigs running through the house, which that level of gentry would not have had.

Well no, they didn't. They had people to take care of the animals, and the part where they had the pig was in the way back of the house where it was supposed to be, not in the actual living quarters of the family.

Well, for some reason I guess it just didn't strike me.

I'm in love with Firth as Darcy, anyway.

Hi guys!

Just got back from the dentist...looks like I may have to get a root canal.
I'll know more on Friday.

Hubby's at jury duty right now. Don't know if he's going to get picked or not...

Root canal, sounds wicked painful. Hopefully it won't be super bad.

Ick. I've had two root canals. I always need the prescription pain killers afterward. Make sure they prescribe you something, just in case.

Root canal is something that I have never had before and I really hope I don't. Having my wisdom teeth pulled was bad enough. They only gave me vicodin for after the surgery.

only vicodin? Isn't that more than enough? Normally they wouldn't give you more than that.

Yes, "only" Vicodin. Because vicodin isn't nearly as strong as you might think. It's like one level above the strongest OTC med you can find. And that's not much.
Added to that, some of us have a high tolerance for painkillers - or at least, that's what the situation is for me. The pain supercedes my body's low ability to process the painkillers effectively. So vicodin isn't strong enough to do the job. Percosets give me quite a lovely buzz, on the other hand. However, most pharmacies these days won't fill scripts for percosets. Vicodin isn't as strong as percoset, so they WILL fill that.
