Usually NCIS LA follows the original NCIS, but now they're having NCIS: New Orleans follow it, so I just wondered if NCIS LA had been cancelled or not.

What happened to NCIS red? I thought that was going to happen. I didn't know there would be a New Orleans.

It was like that earlier when I planned to go on my walk. So much for that.

I went to lunch with an old work friend today.
We like to go out once in awhile, and then she and I just wander around the shops.
It's a fun thing to do.

Maybe next time we'll go to the outlet mall at San Marcos.

Hi. Boy this semester is kicking my booty. Will be glad when Christmas break gets here. Still feels like summer time to me though.

There's a place nearby where I live, called Peddler's Village. It's a maze of shops with a lot of Commons' areas to sit under the trees and enjoy your treats and people watch. There's a candy shop there that I LOVE going to, because they have the BEST Irish Coffee flavored fudge! BEST. EVER.

There's a little shopping village like that near my aunt's place. I love it!

I sure wish we had some little shops like that around here.
It's mostly the major stores though. There are some outdoor shopping areas, but not really areas where you can wander and then sit and talk, etc.

The Arboretum here is close to that though.
That's where we were.

I had been looking all over for a pouring spout for our olive oil jar.
There was a little shop there that sold oils, and they had exactly what I was looking for!

I don't get to go out shopping enough. I really like it but I don't go out anywhere at all.

Yeah.. usually anywhere I go it costs money because going out always makes me want to buy stuff.

Yeah, it used to be that I could just wander around and never buy anything.
But for some reason lately, it seems that I just HAVE to buy stuff.

It's like an addiction or something.

Shopping addictions are bad! If I ever let go, I'd be the worst at it. Thankfully, I'm overly frugal by nature. I end up denying myself most everything I want, especially if others are there. Someone gives me a look at the silly thing I picked up, then I put it back.

I almost paid $15 for a stupid little tiny journal book at Barnes and Noble.

Fortunately, I got smart.
I got the same size book at WalMart for $3.50.....

(of course, it doesn't have nearly the same pretty cover on it that the B&N one had!)

I love the really fancy journals! It's a pity they're so much. When I buy a standard spiral notebook, I have to get one with some kind of fun pattern. I won't survive normal school supplies. >__<

Snow and pretty lights are only nice when you don't have to dig out your car and drive through it to get to work.

Snow is only nice if you get snow. No, scratch that, I don't want snow. Not really. I'm not bred for it.

We don't ever do anything for Christmas.

For Halloween, we're usually at the race track.
Hmm...I wonder when the race is this year.

I do miss the snow. I'm not bred for the HEAT down here.
But I do NOT miss driving in the snow and ice.

I've totally lost whatever slippery driving skills I had.
