Haha. Thats pretty awesome. :]
We celebrete some different cultures stuff here, too. Cinco de Mayo gets a lot of attention in the area because we have such a large hyspanic population.

I see~ Cool then! =O <3<3
We have a lot of our own festivals here in the Philippines though, so sadly we don't celebrate much of others. ^^;;
Except some Spanish ones, since their traditions stuck after they colonized us for over 300 years. xDD;;

Thats cool. We dont really have festivals much, I dont think.
There are booths and celebrations and parades for most, but they always seem so far away.

In the city we don't get a lot of them. But the provinces have loads of them, and they're awesome~ :3 <3<3 I wish I could see more though, but since most of my time is spent in university and therefore in the city, I can't see them and enjoy them much. ^^;;

I dont tend to enjoy them either. My town, despite being small, is actually pretty good at celebrating stuff. I try to go to them as much as possible, but I miss out on a bit of it.

Sometimes they're just the same old same old and get less interesting, or there are just bratty kids everywhere.
I will still usually go to the parades, if nothing more than tradition. Haha. And we always watch the 4th of July fireworks at the field.

Lulz, kids will be kids. xDD;; Luckily kids here are respectful to a good degree. ^^;;
And that's cool. :'> Obviously we don't celebrate the 4th of July, but we do celebrate something similar on June 12, which is our own independence day. =) <3<3

Me too, Jean. ^^ He gave one to everyone that participated in his raffle, I believe.
I have two now. D:
@ Ry - It depends on the parents here. Ones that dont speak english often have really bratty kids that do whatever they want. And i've noticed that almost all the parents that are on welfare will let their kids do anything and be completely rude (I know because my mom is a pharmacist and complains about it all the time). I cannot stand bratty children at all. I want to person walk up and smack them across the face and throw them on timeout. Children should be respectful and polite. :<

Yup, same here~ :'D <3<3
And Su, better two than one? xDD;;
@ Su : Really now? o_O;; How does language figure in to bratty-ness? :x And hmm, I think you could make a good disciplinarian teacher or something. xDD;; I've heard a LOT about US kids though. =\ Especially from my old teachers who moved to the US to teach. :x They have really nasty stories. And I don't wanna generalize with US kids of course, but it's just from what I hear. ^^;; <3<3
