I'm wondering what everyone's favorite hobbies are and what their favorite website that promotes or explains their hobby best.

I love needlework. Crochet, Knitting, Cross-stitch and needle point are my hobbies. I love working with yarn and thread to make things for myself and others.

I'm currently working on a bag for a friend and some change purses for myself or to sell.

My favorite website right now is http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/index.php It has a wide range of crichet patterns and instuctions. I love it. ^_^

Hmm, I think I have too many hobbies. My main one is writing. I write short stories, poems, and lyrics. I also dabble in photography. My favorite subjects are water lilies, roses, cats (especially the one that is asleep on my bed right now ^.^), and people. I sometimes (rarely) draw abstract art and artwork of friends' names. Occasionally, I make stretchy bead jewelry. Nothing fancy, but it's something to do. Soon, I'm also going to try my hand at making wings to wear to Renaissance faires.

Well, I have two or three designs in my head right now. One is something that would require way too much work for my first pair, so I'll probably try making a small version of it first to see if it is possible. The ones I'm really considering making will be moon-shaped and all swirly somehow. The problem is making them light enough to wear. I know what you mean about expensive. That's why I want to learn to make masks, too. They're so terribly expensive at faire.

I was thinking of not using either and just going with wrapping some cord around the wire, maybe silver or gold, and then maybe trying to create some sort of a web-like pattern using string. I haven't really decided yet. I have a few months to work on it. Depends on if I go to the one in March or not. There's another in April here. Lucky you! You get one in February!

I'll definitely do that! Here's hoping I get them done. Considering I've never done it before, it's going to be quite a struggle. I live in Texas, so I truly understand warm. We don't even have faires here during the summer. I think it's because faire owners are afraid people will die of dehydration or burn themselves to a crisp in the sun.

Yep. I think we had a few fires this past week. I'm very pale, so if I go to renfaire without sunscreen, I'm likely to blister. It is not a pretty sight. Possibly the worst thing is to forget to put sunscreen on my ears!

My hobby would be drawing. The site I go to to share my art is deviantART. It's probably the most popular site out there for sharing art.

I also enjoy anything to do with houses, furnishing them, making them, etc. XD People who like the Sims would probably understand what I mean. :) I've always loved houses though, and maybe someday I'll want to or be able to design actual houses.

I do lots of things... I draw I read I write... I sew.. >.>; I make jewelry... is it sad that on top of that I have a jewelcrafter and tailor on WoW? XD

I've tried picking up needlecrafts of all kinds and I tend to just lose interest really easily for some reason. I mean it's really fun when i'm starting out but it just gets a bit boring after a while. >.>;

I actually like to do a lot of things.
1.) I like to cook/bake. during the summer and winter break I cook up a storm but I never really have time during school.

2.) I like photography. I took intro to photography back in my junior yr of highschool and fell in love. Now I have a nikon coolpix in plum and i use it to take pics of landscape and abstract objects.

3.) I like to sew, I reaally wanted a sewing machine so I could start making my own stuff like hats and stuffed animals but never had the money to purchase one myself.

4.) I like to write. I once wrote a short story at the age of 11 but don't know what happened to it. I used to be very passionate about my writing since I dreamed of becoming an author but that dream died once I found out writers get nothing unless they are excellent at writing like JK rowling etc. And my chances are slim so I went into Bio related major as a freshman (right now).

5.) I also like to fiddle around with CSS coding. On Gaia I used to own a prestigious profile shop and made tons of profiles. I love just playing around with it and making a perfect profile and being proud when someone is using it as their profile theme. :)

yeah thats mostly what I like to do =3

1. Knitting will always be my number one. I've learned to knit from my sister and mom. I've been knitting for 6 years and have even made a profit from it. I sell my things, so if you are interested in knitted items, let me know!

2. I love making jewelry. I also sell that too. =) I mostly make earrings and sometimes pendants/necklaces. I've bought/gotten so many beads and jewelry pieces its ridiculous. But I love it so much. Again, if you'd like to see, I have many pictures.

3. Playing Pool. Yup. Actually, I'm not that great lol. But I always love playing with my friends and I love the game. Not like I'd play intensely but it's a good way to relax.

oh! this is a rather general question ^^

Well there are many things I do to fill my time... Lately its been forumming, just posting around randomly in forums I used to go to about j-pop or anime mostly. And now, I can't seem to stop stalking mene at the moment... which is bad, since I do need to sleep

Watching movies and j-pop videos. I'm a heavy downloader >.<" I download at least 1 gig a day... and thats at the very minimum. So I always hav new things to watch in my harddrive.

Dash games or hidden object games. Those games from bigfish? yeah, those are really addictive to me, sometimes, I find myself not sleeping simply because I want to level up and stuff >.<"

Photoshopping... though as of late, I have taken a break from it. I haven't been inspired lately and it worries me a little thinking I won't be able to do much art anymore :(

Well, I do multiple things for fun.

A. I write. But not lyrics, poems, nor short stories. I suck at all of them. What I write is fictional novels. (My dad asked me if I wanted to be a technical writer. Absolutely not.)

B. I sing. I start my school day off with choir. Amazing teacher, amazing class. Not so amazing time to begin school (zero hour choir starts at 6:30.) But, I love to sing.

C. I act. I'm not much of an actress right now. I have terrible stage fright. But, I am going to be in my school's Spring Dinner Theatre and Matinee. I end my school day with Drama. Same amazing teacher. Different amazing class at more reasonable hours. We do pretty much nothing be play games in that class.

D. I daydream. After all, how am I going to come up with the plots for my stories?

E. I dabble in the arts. I'm not much of an aritst, but if I have something to look at, I can draw it. And I like to do artsy things with random words/pictures and magic markers.

F. I sometimes do photgraphy, but I'm not very good at it.

G. I fiddle around with several instruments, including piano, drums, and guitar, two of which I've had lessons...wait, no, I've had lessons in all of them. I forgot that one horrible summer in guitar class. I used to play french horn, steel drums, and marimba, but I don't have time for them anymore.
