I normally don't crash my computer unless the hard drive is going or a virus managed to come in my computer. Or turning back the time on my computer to a previous time...yea...did that once on my laptop and it locked up during it and my dad had to restore the whole thing. :/ That really sucked. But it wasn't my fault...he's the one who told me to do it in the first place!

I should max out my desktop...and laptop...My desktop is using 6gb out of 8gb of RAM it can have. My laptop has 1.5gb of 4gb it can have. Netbook is using 1gb of 2gb it can have. XD I really want it for the net book though. I don't really care for the laptop because I want a new one because I need one with a faster processor and my battery only lasts twenty minutes when not plugged in on power save mode when fully charged. It's cheaper just to go ahead a buy a new laptop than buying the RAM and the battery. :/ Especially since I want a fast processor and most laptops now you can have a max of 8gb on them now. :/

wow my battery on my laptop normally lasts about 2 hours after a full charge.
i had a problem with it here in january where the power cord woulnd't charge and the
battery wouldn't take a charge so i got a new battery and a new cord for free under the
warrinty. ^^ i ahve no idea what ram my laptop is running on.

Well...I've had my lapto for over three years...laptop batteries don't last long and they are expensive to replace. My laptop didn't have any warranty on it because my dad is cheap and didn't buy the insurance. :/

My mom's laptop's battery wouldn't charge a couple of months after she got it. Staples (which is where she got it from) told her she had to contact HP. HP just told her to do what she had already done and they didn't want to help even though she bought the one year warranty ontop of what the laptop already came with which was a six month one. Yea...I hate HP. I prefer Gateway or Emachine...I never have problems with them really and when you do call the people, they are nice and helpful.

Although...it did start working again random a couple of months later. Then a few months later it stopped working again. I think it is currently working. But I'm not 100% sure on that one. :/

lol i have a compaq presario and it's made by hp and
i have never had any problems with getting replacement parts for
it so far. i've had it for almost 2 years now. and i've replaced the
battery and the powercord that's it.

I hate compaq. When I had a compaq, I was ALWAYS having problems with it. My dad hates compaq as well. I'd rather have a straight HP than a Compaq. But I still don't like either brand.

lol wow sweetie you must have just had bad luck.
the only thing my compaq ever does to me is the
mouse pad quits working every once and awhile
doesn't bog me i got a usb mouse i just plug in
if it happens.

I've never gotten used to the whole mousepad thing. I prefer a USB wireless mouse. So much easier to use. :D

Yea...I've had a lot of problems with computers in the past. The best I've ever used is Gateway. I used to hate Emachine when they were their own company...but since Gateway bought them, they've turned out better. Acer fits in there somewhere...I can't remember if Acer owns Gateway or the other way around. But I know Acer is a good brand. But I don't remember if I've ever used one. :/ My next laptop may be an Acer since I think they were cheaper than Gateway.

my friend has a mini acer laptop and it did him prtty good
until he fried the battery by having it plugged into the charger for too long.

i used to have a gateway back when i lived at home.
it was the best computer ever. and it was mine than when imoved
i didn't take it with me and when i came back one weekend to get my stuff off
it had crashed and i lost everything.

XD Minis are very easy to kill...not matter the brand actually. But I do find it funny...although...I suppose a battery in a normal sized laptop could do the same thing. XD

Oh wow...that sucks. I had a newer Emachine that was at my dad's than my old Gateway Desktop which is around eight years old now. But a power surge went through and killed it. XD And it had a surge protector on it too! That's what makes it so funny. But that thing was slow. Although it was faster than the old Gateway...but my old Gateway is there. It's so ancient...and back then when my mom got it (it was originally hers), it was like the top of the line computers too just about. XD

And I think I am going to go to bed. It's almost 1:30 AM. And I'm tired. So, good night. Laters.

I'm used to papers being in pages and not words too. The only time I've had it based on words was if I had to write it for some type of judging...which I have only done once in what I can remember and that was ten years ago I guess...Yea I guess it would be if I was eleven in the sixth grade or was I twelve? I think I was eleven. XD I don't feel like figuring it out right now...plus I need to be getting ready to leave for my drawing two class anyways.

I've got to get into "word count mode" rather than "page count mode", since I'm writing a short story to get published for an anthology.
