I have forgotten where you go to school?

I go to community college right now, but I'm transferring in the fall to a larger college. Still not sure which one yet. There's so many choices! It's mind boggling. At least I know I want to stay in the same state.

I think that going to a Community College right away is a smart thing to do.
There are many basic courses that can be taken, and it is so much more inexpensive than a larger university.

I agree, plus they gave me a scholarship. I already had a scholarship from being a Florida student (sponsored by the local lottery) so that means I can pay for my books. And it's close to home, so I don't have to leave home quite so soon.

When I went to school, books were very very expensive. I'm sure they are even more so now.

i changed to Communications, as a backup. I want to transfer for graphic design in the fall, though.

I think I dropped about a grand on books for a single year of school, once. It was so upsetting to actually be able to calculate it all out. And I barely used the books, at that.

oooooooooo Sora spent a lot the first semester............it sucked, but then Sora tried Chegg and actually saved a bunch! ^^

What does Communications entail?

I remember that my Anthropology book was the most expensive.
I think I kept it. I wonder where I put it.

I still have my calculus books. Every now and them I look at it to see if I can still do the math.
I find that I have forgotten most of it!

Sorry I disappeared...the semester has started for me. So I really won't be on too much.

I had to spend $100 on one textbook for this semester. Out of my own personal money. So I have $400 to last me three months until I start working again...well...two and a half months I think now...this isn't going to work out... :/ Especially since gas went from $2.93 to $3.09 a gallon of regular gas overnight. -_- And I have to buy premium. *has to commute to campus*

well, I'm actually unsure of graphic design at the moment.
Communication studies talks about theories about why people communicate the way they do and also different kinds of media. I really like it at the moment. I still have to decide what I want to transfer for.

Communication studies was an easy class I had! It was actually introduction to speech but the book was a communication studies. I had to have that class at my community college because it was required. Although...everyone hates that teacher and supposedly no one gets an A in her class and you're lucky if you get a B in her class...well...I got an A in her class... XD

I have my certificate in graphic design from the community college I went to. Where I go now, I am majoring in studio art with emphases in drawing and photography.

And I am taking my leave...so I can get ready for bed...then go to bed...to wake up early to go to class. I can't wait till my night class is over so my tuesdays and thursdays end at 3:30 instead of 7:15...

yea, Sora was gonna be in animation, but it's just too much of a hobby for him, plus Sora just likes to study about it! XP

Sora is majoring in communications and Sora's in it because it has many jobs that can be made in the anime industry ^^

I always get my books used from half.com. Saves me SO much more money than using the school bookstore. Ugh. WAY overpriced.

I'm going to major in biology or marine biology as an undergrad, and then I'll decide if I want to switch to something else as a grad student.

Terrena, our car says that it requires premium, but we have never put anything in it but the lower priced fuel.
It runs just fine.

Marine biology sounds so fascinating! I used to scuba dive, and I just loved researching the things that we saw.

Are there still jobs in the anime industry, Sora? I had thought it was also having problems.

I know! I'm living in Florida and the underwater wildlife is amazing. I have mild panic attacks when I snorkel, so I need to get over that. :XD I think it's from nearly drowning as a young kid.

I did see a manatee in the ocean once, while I was swimming. It was so close I could have touched it! I totally would love to work with them all the time.

i was going to transfer to montclair in nj for graphic design. but since i'm now unsure of what I want to do; i'm not sure anymore. montclair would be nice...if i knew what i was doing >_o
