I'm doing okay. Still stuck with a twelve hour hell job (better than no job of course though). But I'm looking for a different job right now.
I'm hoping to get my motorcycle out soon since it's been such nice weather. I really need more practice riding it ^_^

I'm still nervous when riding it because I am new to my liscense but I like motorcylces.
You might want to get your foot in the door somewhere before times get even tougher.

If you really need a job, try factories. Many factories go through people quick because so many people just can't handle being on their feet for most of the shift (some factories have sit down jobs though). And many people hate the fact that they have to lift something more than a five pound paper weight, and that they actually have to move quickly to keep things running.
Since many factories can't keep people, they are usually looking for quick hires. They will also be looking for people to work for just the summer months that way they aren't shorted workers with all their regular employees taking summer vacations.

Depends on the factory. Some companies are coming back or starting businesses here in the US because we are in need of jobs.

depends around where you live. There are a lot of factories around where I live (some of them I refuse to ever go back to).
I think it is the big name corporations that all like the cheap foreign labor.
You will have to look around, there is probably more factories around you than you realize. We have factories around here for making vaccums, books, sorting and distributing those books, making computer boards, putting together truck lights, making baby wipes and diapers, bottling water, packaging medical supplies, and many more.

I'm sure that there are factories that make all the different art supplies and something might be near you?
Job hunting is never easy even when you do know what's out there *sigh*

Yeah, we have a lot around the area I live. A coffee factory, pasta sauce, Barilla has one in Avon NY, we have a yogurt factory opening up soon. I know we have more where I am, especially in the smaller town areas.

Yeah, we have a motts factory up in Wayne County NY.
I know we have other stuff. I just don't know since I'm not looking for factory work... though maybe I should if I move out somewhere near one.

Factory work ended up being my only option when I was trying to find work a couple years ago. All stores and resturaunts where you would normally try to get your first job at were only wanting to hire people with previous experience. They all wanted someone that could run a cashier and everything already.
I hate the issue of places not willing to hire without you having experience. How is anyone supposed to get experience if no will hire those without experience?
Factories don't always worry as much about experience for basic labor positions. So it was easier to get into some factories.

Yeah, it sucks. I can't get a job in customer service or in a restaurant because I have no experience in it. I had an interview with a fast food chain last week, I didn't get hired. -.-

Good morning everybody!
Cloud! How nice to see you again. We've missed you!
I'm sorry you didn't get that job, Serena.
Cloud has some good ideas. Factory work is repetitious, and can be boring, but it is a job.
Oh, I don't think an art factory would be the best place for a job for Kat.
