How have you all been lately?

We're finally getting some cooler weather here, so that makes me happy!

Sweaters and scarves and flannel bed sheets and hot coffee in the mornings and tea at night and the smell of woodsmoke and the crunch of leaves . . . . !!

I love autumn!

I don't wear sweaters. They make me sweat.

I'm anemic, so I get cold more easily than most.

sorry I was gone for a long time. There was a death in my boyfriend's family a couple weeks ago. I went home and spent that weekend with him and his family. Then the funeral was this past thursday, spent wed-fri home with them. Friday was my birthday and Mike and I had planned on him visiting this weekend so we both could celebrate our birthdays together (his is this coming Tuesday). Which we did, we drove down Friday afternoon (after having some cake after his mom came home from work) and we spent this past weekend together. We definitely needed this weekend together after all the stuff we just went through. It was a stressful time lately for all of us and we got to spend a lot of needed time together and with the family. That and realise how much we do need each other, and how much we really are there for each other when we truly need it. That and how we can quickly pull through stuff.
Overall, it was a good bit of time. ^^ Looking forward to exactly 1 month ^^

If your relationship can make it through the stress of a death in the family, it must be very strong!

Yeah, it was a good time away with them. I was even prepared to get home by bus if he was unable to get me, but he was able to. I like to think our relationship is strong. We've made it through my family issues with my parents divorcing, the crap from school, pet deaths, either one of us being in school most of the time we've been together and now the death in his family.
We were talking about it because early on I was upset that I wasn't there right when it happened with them all, and felt that I wasn't there for him when he needed it then, he told me that I was there for him and always are there for him when he really needs it most.
