It's spelled Paquin. Spell check doesn't like it though!
My sister got stuck on the ice beast in Metroid Prime for quite a while, but now she hasn't had the time. She'll probably finish it this summer.

Screw TV. Nothing but DVDs and Hulu.com for me :D They have some good anime series up there, been watching Slayers NEXT lately.

My computer doesn't like things with too much movement. It hates YouTube and Hulu, much to my dismay. :(

By the way, what kind of flower is that Jayn?

An orchid.

And your computer hates streaming video? Wow, that sucks. Sounds like it's time to bug the 'rents for an upgrade ;)

Apparently it's hard to simply get more processing power on a mac this old... and we're poor anyways. I deal though. I split my time between reading, surfing the internet and watching t.v.

I hear ya fairy. I'm nursing an old laptop that has always had a rough time staying on the internet. The money is just not there at this time to replace it though. I am hoping to "reformat" and maybe bring this thing back to life a little.

Hello everyone, what's up?
Hello Jayn, Daria, Kale, and Fairy, I'm buttin in.

Going back to previous mentions-- I really like Zelda too. I have all the Zelda game for all my different systems, mind you I don't have the new systems they're all outdated except the PS2 and some of the Zelda game are the same jsut updated to different systems so I didn't buy repeats.
I remember that myst game. I actually have it around here somewhere. I think I was 14 the last time I tried playing that. I know I completed the first one but I didn't complete the second, there was an annoying puzzle I jsut couldn't get past. Maybe I shoud find that again and try to play it, since I'm older I might be able to figure out more ^_^

Oh, a Mac. The problem is less the age (though that does add problems) and more that it's a Mac. They aren't meant to be upgraded piecemeal like PCs often are. That's both an up and downside--you don't have to worry about making things work right together (and having built and upgraded our computers several times in the last couple years, I can see the appeal), but the only way to upgrade is to buy new really.

As for what Hulu is, it's a streaming video site like YouTube specifically for TV shows and movies. The selection can leave a bit to be desired at times, but everything up there is courtesy of the copyright holders, meaning there's commercials (not many, though) and more importantly, it's 100% LEGAL. Some anime series are even being uploaded shortly after they air in Japan, which is awesome.

Well it works pretty well, it doesn't have to be restarted because it froze all the time. My sister really wants a laptop, especially one where photoshop or an equivalent works. She's an artist.

I love those Hulu commercials. My favorite is the one with Eliza Dushku. She's the main character on Dollhhouse and Faith on Buffy.

Jayn-- your eggs aren't nearly getting enough viewsa nd clicks. I don't think anyone on this thread really knows what to do with them plus there isn't many people here.
Go to the Dragon Cave Addicts Annonomous (sp?) thread and intoduce yourself, and try to post at least once per page. Everyone there clicks on everyone elses eggs/hatchlings to help out. I'm also guessing you did not post them on that website I gave you. It;s actually best ot put them on the site because they get a lot of views. If the eggs/hatchlings do not hatch/grow in a certian amount of time they will die.

EDIT: hello there Fairy

i clicked your guys eggs. For a while I wasn't clicking people's eggs for fear of giving them soft shell, but I suppose they must have all evolved or died by this time...

Jayn-- Oh, you have the next chapter in? I'll remember to read it tomorrow ^_^ It is possible to make them grow without putting them on a site, but you'll be pushing the day limit.

Fairy-- I doubt you could give them softshell. It takes a large # of click/views in a very short amount of time. That will likely only happlen if you stick them on more thatn one fansite. Especially if the site was down and all eggs/hatchlings removed from the site and then when everyone is trying to put theirs back on.

Good Night you two.

Good afternoon everybody!

There have been too many of you to address you all, so I'll just be lazy today and give a general "hello" to everybody!

I've heard of the Zelda games. They are just on the game player machines, correct? I don't have any of those. I only play games on my computer.
I also love the Civilization games. Sims is rather interesting also.

I must not be as ancient as I thought! I actually know what hulu is.

I'm very afraid of downloading games, Yuen.
I had a virus on my system once, and I never want to get another one again.
It was too painful to recover from.

I used to download a lot of those trials, but I've stopped since I got my new system. I want to keep this one as clean as possible.

Glad to know you're careful about viruses, Granny. I hope you have a good AV program too. I've been running without one, but I'm also lazy like that. Plus I know enough about computers that I can usually figure out how to fix my own messes.

Yes, Jayn, I have an anti-virus on my system, and a firewall also!
I think I'm running CA Security Center. Probably because we get that free with our RoadRunner high speed internet connection.

I had the very first Zelda on my computer once. It was an old PC. The first one is quite a bit different from the later ones, although the second is the most different.
