Hello Daria! I am doing quite well.
How are you today?
Fairy, are the later Zelda's better than the original?
Is it something that you think I might enjoy playing?

They're all pretty fun. I know my Mom likes to play them. I think they play on any gaming system, both the handhelds and the platforms. I have a gamecube a Nintendo DS and a gameboy and it works on all of them. I recommend Link's Awakening.

Ah, good afternoon everybody! =) I'm stopping by before work again, for a little bit. =)
We have a Civilization game that I've tried once or twice, but I love Warcraft and The Sims 1 and 2 too much to play many more game. xD By the way, just a few more days until The Sims 3 comes out! =o Too bad I'm on vacation and won't get if until more than an entire week later x.x
I just made some grilled cheese so I'm in a really good mood right now!
So, how's everyone doing? =)

I am doing well Granny thanks for asking:)
Jessica, it's lovely to see that you were able to get the dress you have been questing for:)
Granny, do you like games that require a bit of eye/hand coordination? Zelda is fun for the questing, but its one of those timing games, where ya gotta swing your little weapon at exactly the right time to kill the monsters. I haven't played the more recent games, but I have played the older ones. I hear the one out for the Wii is quite good, but I haven't tried it just yet.

I'm afraid that if there is too much eye/hand coordination, then I would have a problem. I have arthritis in my fingers, and I don't do too well with quick motions. I can play the Snake game (in Worm mode), but even then my fingers get cramped very quickly.
This typing is good for me, because it helps me keep my fingers a bit more supple.
The Sims3 is coming out soon, Jess? Will it be much different from Sims2 do you think? I have Sims2.
Hello SunShine! Good afternoon to you.

I am so glad to hear typing helps your hands out Granny! I work in a therapy field, and one of the things we were taught to preach to our clients in school is to "find activities rather than exercises" to keep healthy! Typing sounds like a great way to keep your fingers moving and reduce pain, excellent work!
Your better than I am Granny, I can't get snake to work at all...I just play tetris instead.

Wonderful FakeSunShine, what color did you end up choosing? How did your family react (I know you were worried about your mom). Are you going to need to wear a wig at work now?

Daria - Yes, it feels so nice not having to post in my undies anymore! :D Your avatar is lovely, by the way. =) It makes me relaxed just by looking at it. xD
As for the Sims 3, I believe it comes out June 2nd. I looked at the website for it, Granny, and it has close to a million screenies you can look at and explanations of what's new. While it reminds me a lot of the Sims 2, it's like bigger and better, I suppose. More about neighborhood and community than just your one house. It's probably going to be quite different, as I don't see them making a 3rd just so they can sell some more. =) Ahh, I can't wait!!

That sounds really cool! I'm glad you don't have to wear a wig at work though. That'd probably get your head warm.

Thanks Jessica! I have been questing commons like mad through the exchange:) I got the dress and little pole from Sakura Madison on the exchange. I am a cheapskate and would rather buy things at a discount. I know that's horrible;)
Granny, I love your staff what is the name of the item? Is it a common?

The staff is the Orchid Staff. It's part of the Phoenix Jubilee set I believe.
I think that Elmira has one for sale in her shop:
http://www.menewsha.com/forum/gaming...f-orchids.html
I've never gone to the Exchange to buy commons. I should try that!
Edit: Well, I must leave now for the day. I have a bit of shopping to do.
Have a nice afternoon, everybody!

I get items for my outfits, and she uses whatever I'm not. I think she's bought an Artemis bow and that's it.
