Has anybody "leveled up" yet? I keep practicing, and I'm certain it has been more than 10 times, yet I still get just one star from Song.

Maybe you should go to the FAQ and complain. I think it only adds a fraction though, so maybe you missed it. They should really have some kind of notification when you've gotten 10.

I know I'm not leveled up yet but I don't know how many times I've practiced either. I hefard that you won't know if you;ve leveled up unless you just pay attention to what your stars were before you petition.

Well, I still only get one star from her, so I presume I haven't gone up a level yet.
