Usually people sing the theme song from the old 60s Batman TV show for my name. XB Na na na na na na na na na na na Nanenna! XD
I want to hear the origins of everyone's names! And please don't mind if I'm being slow, I am reading everyone's posts! I'm just... watching an anime Keels suggested. >.>
Keels! They were waltzing in the OP! Waltzing! Wasn't that still scandalous during the Victorian era?

Hehe.. I'm a bit young to have seen any '60s Batman  Or had the interest to watch any older shows (not trying to call you old)
What anime is that?

@nenna: Oh my gosh, that's great! I can't believe I didn't think of that and it is now stuck in my head xD
I picked my name because I feel like it gave me an immediate connection to people. I'm 'uncle' Jo so when you say it you already feel like I'm part of your family and vice versa.

I never watched it either, I'm far too young as well! XD But it's still pretty famous, at least around my friends. We're all such geeks!
It's called Victorian Romance Emma and looks very calm and slow paced and relaxing, I could go for a little drama rather than a lot of high paced action right now.
Edit: You are part of the family, Jo! It does definitely give you a very homey feel.

I have a terrible memory, Kat. ^^;
Oh, I should tell where I got my name from too! My real name is Jeanette (pronounced Juh-net) and the pseudonym I like to use is Jenna Wescott. One time a real life friend who I chat with a lot tried to get my attention by calling me "Jenna" in person and I didn't respond. So the next time he tried getting my attention he ended up saying "Janenna" when he couldn't figure out which to call me. Then some other online friends would type things like Janenanenanena and from stuff like that I ended up with "Nanenna." Whew... it's a bit of a long story but it means I do have a pretty unique name. ^^

I didn't think the story was that cool, it's just kinda fun to tell. ^^

Ah, my char. has a last name too! And Kat Dakuu isn't much of a jump from my real name so yeah... It wasn't the most creative code-name to use for myself in that rp. ^_^
well, I thought it was cool. I could tell you were having fun.

Oh, it's not hard to go from Jeanette W. to Jenna Wescott, it's not that imaginative of a name myself. XD
Having fun is the most important part of... having fun. I mean... hanging out and free time and... ._. I no good with words.

^_^......heh, I went for a long walk to get some thinking done, particularly for my novel and that worked good. Then I went and ate dinner.
Oh!! And I bought candy! See, I've come up with a brilliant plan to inspire me to write. I buy candy, but I can't eat it until I write 1k words!! then I can eat all but the last piece until I reach 2k! My plan is working so far because I really want to eat my twizzlers!!!

haha Kat! That's the greatest form of motivation I've ever heard. I should do that to get myself to do my homework 0.o
seriously, great idea. I don't know if I have strong enough self-control for it though.

Oh! That is a motivator! I should do that for my fanfic! I absolutely hate what I've written so far and want to scrap all but the first part and I know how I want to change it but I just haven't had the motivation!

If it's out of site I won't want to work for it as hard, but you're right about how tempting it is! XD If I did something like that I'd have to make my husband hold them. He'd give them to me of course, but not without reminding me of my goal first and I have enough self control to walk away. XD

yeah...I'm all alone in my room so I had to hide the twizzlers. My mouth wants sugar so bad though so that's my motivation!!! I'm not really writing right now though...
wait a second. how do I have 100 less words than I did a minute ago?!!

Oh no! What just happened? Did you lose some of your writing?
I'm really enjoying the anime Keels recommended. I even went and did a little impromptu research because of it. Ah... it's like reading Little Women over again. ^^

That is possible and even probable. So let's just stick with that and move on then, shall we?
I really like it! But I like stuff like that... Little Women (and sequels), Anne of Green Gables (and sequels), Jane Austen... all that old fashioned stuff! It's just so poetic and pretty! <3

I really think Pride and Prejudice was her best work! I enjoy Mansfield Park, but not quite as much. I think I didn't like Sense and Sensibility to well but I'd have to read it again to remember and most of my stuff's in storage right now. -_-
Ah... the Anne books are great! It felt a little dragged out to go all the way onto her children growing up but it worked so well that I can't not love them. I've read a few of her short stories too and I enjoyed them very much, I'd like to find her other books and read them all!
