What kind of math are you doing?
It's okay, Jo. We still love you! *hugs*

Oh ugh, that sounds pretty hard to me. Just give me some good old calculus and I'll be fine.

Tribbles are little balls of fur that purr and are born pregnant They are from the Trouble with Tribbles on Star Trek the orignal series. But I think they were ripped off from Heinlein's book the Rolling Stones and Flatcats.

oh, the best part is there are no calculations at all to do!! Actually, things like the mandlebrot set are complicated looking but made with a very simple equations. Finite lines and drawings with infinite space....*siiiiiigh* what is cooler than that?

What's cooler than that? Solving x for y is way cooler than that! <3

its also easier than solving an equation because we aren't even doing any solving in this unit. I'm basically learning that this stuff exists! Sierpinski is now my new idol!!

Well all I know is fractuals are the basis for chaos theory.

Spirals are a mathematical equation seen all throughout nature such as the seeds of a sunflower, the spiral of a crab's shell, in a spider's web...

I think you mean the sprial of a Nautilis crab shells don't have spirals unless it a hermit and they steal shells from other shell fish
chaos theory is to theory of a small actions causing reactions that can culiminate it a major reaction far away. Like Butterfly's wing flapping in Indonisian causes in hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico

I think those are the same thing Kat. But I thought Chaos theory was something different.

Oh yeah, in Jurassic Park he was talking about a drop of water on the back of what'sherface's hand.
Little things can have a big impact, but I doubt a butterfly flapping its wings could cause a huge storm anywhere.
