Owie... I waz in a car accident today--well, I guess it's yesterday now.

It wasn't too bad. The airbags didn't deploy or anything, but both cars still had to be towed. Mostly I'm just a little bruised up and going to be sore, but the driver of the other vehicle had to be taken away in an ambulance because she hit her head.

Yeah. It did suck. I was on my way to work when it happened too.

At least the officer didn't find me at fault. The other people were trying to claim I ran the stop light to put the blame on me. I didn't run the light, and it was their stupid fault for stopping in the middle of the lane.

The accident happened past the light though, so it reverts back to normal traffic rules. They were turning, and I was going straight. I had the right of way in that situation, which put them legally at fault. The officer said it was the other person's fault in the police report and everything, and I didn't get a ticket for it anyway.

Of course, that person may be in continuing trouble for the accident. She was driving a state vehicle, and the state's not going to want that one of their employee's was at fault in a driving accident hanging over their collective heads. They'll want to settle everything rather quickly.
