Oh, I didn't hurt it~ I just have this thing for eye-patches~

Ah, you must have bought a different kind of pocket watch. There's 4, I think. 2 that hang at the waist, and then 2 more that hang from the wrist/hand (can't remember which).

Granny, you make me think of a librarian *_*

No, I was never a librarian, but I do love to read, and I love libraries.
When I was a child, I remember thinking that there could not possibly be a better place than a library. All those books just waiting for me.

Then I got a bit older and saw an office supply store. I was in raptures! All that paper and those pens, all the possibilities.

I'm not a writer nor an artist, but that doesn't stop one from dreaming.

It's never too late to write. My mom has worked on a couple of books for years - just for fun.

The pocketwatches are a little confusing in the shop. The only way I knew which was which was by scrolling over the item to see how it equipped. Not sure if the name differentiates.

I might still be going to the library today.
Not sure when though.

Oh, me too!

One of my ambitions is to have a big house so I can fit a personal library in there, or some sort of library+studio.

I'm the same way with supplies! I love drawing pads, notebooks, cases, brushes, pens, and oh~

You should see me trying to restrain myself at an art supply store. It's almost painful! I am in serious need of a studio table of sorts...

Well, now I'm wearing my watch. Thank you.

Mimi, yesterday you mentioned something about when we met, so I looked back at my Newcomer's thread.

It's true! You were the very first person to respond when I started here on Menewsha. That makes you my very first friend. It was so nice to be able to immediately chat with somebody, and it made me feel very welcome.

Now we have the tea room, and so very many nice friends who drop by. I'm blessed.

People drop by because you're very nice, Granny J

Lovely pocket watch~

I'm going to go eat breakfast and then clean, but I'll be popping in every few minutes or so <3

Awww ^-^
That memory makes me so happy. I remember telling you that you should make a hangout thread. I could've done that but I think I was still way to shy to do a thing such as, besides, seeing how active it is on here and how many people had visit here and still come here to hang out, just proves you're a great thread maker :3

I am still happy to be your first friend >////////////////////////<

I have to go. I have to stand outside and beg for money. For the chorus, but still. It's really nice outside, so that makes it better.....

We'll chat with you later fairy.

It's such a nice day here also. I really should be outside enjoying it. It's a bit windy, but the sun is shining, which makes it look like a beautiful day.

Perhaps you should put on a nice warm coat if you do decide to go for a walk.
Gramma I wonder if you have a pet. Like a cat or a dog or anything.

Not rude at all to invite people! You can even put the Tea Room in your signature if you like, Mimi dear. It's always fun to meet and chat with new people!

Welcome to the tea shop, Monsieur. That must be French, correct?

We used to have two cats, Mimi, but unfortunately they passed away a few years ago. Max was 16 when he died, and Misty was 18. We loved them very much, and miss them.

We haven't gotten any new kitties because we RV quite a bit, and are gone for long periods of time. We're still discussing it. Possibly we'll go to the shelter and find an older, calm cat. Kitties are so tiny, there are places in the RV that they could get into which we would not be able to get them out of. It's rather scary to think about.

Hello Rae ^-^ How are you? :3

That's harsh Gramma. I'm sorry for your loss though it was 2 years ago. Perhaps you could take a small dog or indeed an older cat. Dogs are easy to take with and cats can be held in laps. ^-^ Ah. I wish I still had my puppy.... v.v;;

Mimi has Cinnamon tea with Mint, and I have small cupcakes with strawberry flavoured icing on top :3 Yes. I made those. Yes. I had time. Yes. I had the kitchen to myself. :'D

^-^ Heheh..

-Hands you one of the cupcakes.- Do be careful. They have a sweet vanilla flavour to it.
I just couldn't pass the vanilla x.x;; I actually wanted chocolate but the store didn't have the right ones. D: So I do hope they're well. ^-^

^///////////^ Pleased to hear that.
Well it's odd since I rarely use strawberry to be honest.
I only use it in fruit punches or in fruit salads. Or when I dip it in chocolate x.x;;
