Totally know what you mean, Amane. I have a notebook of the first story I ever wrote. when i read it I always think, "what was I thinking? that makes absolutely no sense."

I do the same thing reading back at some of the first things I wrote. I wrote a short story, like, 20 pages long, in 6th grade, and it won First Prize at our local Writers Contest, but reading it now it's like..."Why the heck did I write that??" XD

Oh, yes, definitely love seeing how much I have improved. Now I understand that the sun actually rises and sets in fictional worlds the same as it does in real life and that everything does NOT happen in one day.

My first story felt endless. It wasn't really that long, I was just impatient. I still to this day fail at detail, though. I can say that much hasn't changed.
