Except for the whole stage fright thing. Having to sing, by myself, to the hundreds of people in the theater. It's bad enough singing in front of the rest of the cast! X.x I nearly had a heart attack when the director called out the parts.

But if it forces me to overcome my fear of rejection and all that jazz...I suppose I should do it, right? Right?! *hides under blankie*

Aww, poor Briar Rose. But that's so awesome! I always wished I could have done something like that back in high school, but the only people who got to do plays were those in the drama class and they never did musicals anyway.

I wish this were just a High School play...it's actually with real adults! XD Well, not that I'm not an adult...but...It's with people who have been acting for decades and are really very talented people. At one point I thought I only got the part because I'm the only one under 30, lol.

That is thre best role in the whole wide world hunny! I am so jealous! And the play is actually Pygmalion, not My Fair Lady which is the Audrey Hepburn classic interpretation. The accent is actually a lot thicker in the play than in the movie! But of course, you will have all the movie songs. Oh I love the songs -hums "all I want" to self shakes head and bursts into the ballad of "the street where you live"-

Makeup can make people look younger than they are. They'd only have given it to you if they really believe you can do it.
