I could, but I'd have to do that before hand, then go shopping because I know we won't have enough of everything to make anything. I commonly make desserts on a whim, no fore thought about it.

@Kara; well you know the saying "shoemakers children have no shoes"? that's about how it is here, she hardly ever bakes at home. It's normally me, but we have plenty of recipes I can follow. :yes:
My favorite though has got to be the coffee cake with mocha frosting. :drool:

Although you do have the benefit of the recipes as you said .... so that might just counter balance mom not cooking it.

@Kara; well my mom doesn't work as a baker/cake decorator anymore. My parents decided to open up a flooring shop. *my dads been doing custom flooring for 20+ yrs, & they're doing pretty good. :yes:

Haha yeah, My friend is coming over next weekend & we're baking things for her church thing That sunday. ;] And all of our profits go to her car fund. x3
She's got 2,500$ saved up already. ;o

@Kara; Mhm. My dad does everything, though not just flooring, like on your floor. If you want tile on your walls in your bathroom & the like, he does that too. :yes: his most recent job he did hardwood throughout the entire house *minus the bathrooms* and did ceramic nautical star inlays. :drool: it was so good looking. lol

We're making all sorts of stuff. lol Everything cookies & cuppycakes. Mhm. I'm making my cream filled cuppy cakes.

She needs 3500$, so we're getting close. But between her job & bake sales she's doing really good. :]

Does he do carpeting as well or no? We use to have carpets everywhere, but because they were installed without being pulled tight, they became all bumpy and then the floor squeaked .... so we tore it out! Destroying stuff is FUN!
