I didn't see a post for it, so I decided to make one! :3

Relient K has been my favorite band for years.
I remember the first time I heard them on the radio. My mom and I were listening to the Christian radio station, and "Giving Into You" came on. My mom had previously asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I said "oohh I want the cd from this band!" and we didn't know who the band was.. so we actually called in and asked XD

When I got the CD, I got much more than I expected. Giving Into You was a slow, ballad like song, and the rest of the CD was totally different @[email protected] (The Anatomy of the Tongue in Cheek album).. and well, I've been hooked ever since. XD Mind you.. this was 7 years ago. @[email protected]

I own every single one of their albums and I got my "Two Lefts Don't Make a Right, But Three Do" CD signed by Matt Thiessen, Matt Hoopes (he signed his name [email protected], tee hee~), Dave Douglas, and Brian Pittman~ They were amazing live and I'd really like to see them again someday. :3

Despite Relient K being a Christian band, and me being an atheist.. well, it doesn't stop me from listening to them to say the least. XD I guess I just interpret their lyrics in a more.. relationship way, rather than a religious way o.O though I could argue that their songs have strayed a LOT from their Christian roots. Their music 8 years ago was more lighthearted, and now they have a much more mature sound.

My favorite songs are- Softer to Me, Curl Up and Die, There Was No Theif, Sadie Hawkins Dance, Falling Out, Faking My Own Suicide, Failure to Excommunicate.. really, I could probably name just about every single one of their songs as my favorite.. x.x

So yeah.. wow I spoke a lot about Relient K o.O I'm a really big fan so when I get on the subject of them.. I don't shutup XD

Anyone out there like them? :]

I think I first came across their song Sadie Hawkins Dance and fell in love. I sent it to all my friends and we all just became fans of them.

I knew they were a Christian band, since I use to listen to Christian pop, being a Christian myself. I don't love Relient K because they're Christian though, their music is just really good.
I also knew them from the song We Are The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything from Veggietales. xD

Lemme see, I think my personally favourite cd is Mmhmm, it's just really catchy and I love all the songs. I love all of their cds however. I think Mmhmm is their lastest cd though, I'm not sure. Or maybe Five Score and Seven Years Ago is. They sounds a lot different on that cd then in their previous cds.

I love Sadie Hawkins.. it's a classic XD It's super catchy and whenever I listen to it I can't get it out of my head for days :<

I can't really put my finger on a favorite album, I love them all.. but I recently got Birds and the Beesides and I LOVE it. It has a ton of unreleased songs, demos, and acoustic versions of songs (Who I Am Hates Who I've Been, Up and Up, Hope For Every Fallen Man). It has 26 songs on it O_O and I got it for a whopping 9$ at best buy. If you don't have it already (I'm assuming you don't since it's the most recently released "album" they have besides their christmas one XD) you should =] Especially if you're a big fan, I promise you'll love it xD

I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan but I like them a lot. I've seen them live four times and I have to say that no matter how popular they get, Sadie Hawkins Dance will always be the best part of their show. Two Lefts is my favorite of their albums as a whole and Trademark was my theme song my freshman year of college.

A great christian band (don't hold it against them, a lot of their stuff isn't "goddy") with clever lyrics and catchy songs.

I liked their first album a lot -- I remember when it first came out, and that makes me feel old! XD
I haven't really listened to them much since then, though. I got into heavier stuff right after that (Blindside, anyone?), and kinda stopped paying attention to them.

Whoa! Ha ha. I remember them! I have a few songs of theirs on my iPod and they're the greatest! o: I'll never get tired of listening to those tracks.

Just wanted to ad that their latest album is actually Forget and Not Slow Down.

I like the songs Be My Escape, Must Have Done Something Right, and Deathbed.
I never really listened to any of their other songs though.

That seems quite strange.... those are some of the most faith involved songs... especially deathbed... (one of my favourites)
