Slyth nodded, somewhat understanding but not fully. He was going to ask some more questions, but he realized Dannyl seemed to be quite tired. Slyth frowned, at himself, for not realizing that of course Dannyl would be tired. Esspecially after that week he just had, not to mention the transforming back and then going to town all day. "You should sleep now." Slyth said in a hushed voice as he sat down on his own bed and turned his eyes to the wooden cow that now stood on his 'night stand'.

" 'S too early," Dannyl murmured but his body had other ideas, sending him into a restless sleep.

His dreams were far from peaceful, a mix of the trapped feeling and enforced pain at his brother's hand, the horror of his first kill, the taste of raw meat every month afterwards.

He awoke with a strangled scream and lay where he was, panting and in a cold sweat for some minutes trying to calm his racing pulse and hoping he hadn't woken Slyth.

After Dannyl had fallen asleep, Slyth went about doing his ussual routine. Which mostly just consisted of his cleaning his little cave up and putting things in their proper places. After doing that, he had gone out for a little bit, checking on the animals, to make sure they were all well and happy. After awhile of that, Slyth returned to the cave, only to notice Dannyl shifting in his sleep, obviously having a bad dream. Slyth frowned lightly as he went over and sat on the edge of the Lycan's bed. He was just about to put a hand down on Dannyl's head, to push away the tormenting dream, when Dannyl awoke. Slyth jumped away and stumbled to the ground from the suddenness of it. To startled to speak at the moment, Slyth simply stared at Dannyl from where he now lay on the floor.

After a few minutes Dannyl's breathing slowed to a rate that was only slightly faster than normal, although his pulse was still racing. Turning his head to the side he saw Slyth laying somewhat stunned on the floor.

"Oh shit, I'm sorry did I send you there or something?" he said, holding a hand out to Slyth to help him up. "Seems, safe here or not, I still have enemies in my dreams," he said with a small, ironic smile.

"N-no." Slyth said as he shook his head lightly, "I got startled by your suddenly waking. And.." He paused, with a light embarassed frown on his face. "I stumbled.." he mumbled as he stared at Dannyl's offered hand. Slyth started to reach for it, before stopping his hand and just pushing himself up on his own. Once he was standing, he patted the dirt from his clothes while his tail still twitched with embarassment.
