Yeah... Mene's going to implement a cash shop soon. I'm a little worried. I know that it won't be anything like the one in Gaia Online--the staff has already assured us that we're still going to get regular common updates. But... I don't know... I don't like how we still have the games even though it's throwing our economy out of whack. The cash shop might not be the best idea. I think maybe we should just get new CI's on the 1st and the 15th of the month instead, since people have already showed that they're willing to purchase a lot of those.

It might not be enough to keep the site running though... but I think everyone is suffering because of the poor economy at the moment. I'm not sure if they'll make a lot more money with a cash shop... T___T

Well, it will be another source of cash flow for them. As of now, from what I have seen, Mene's cash is probably based on the donation items since there are no advertisements. And Mene's items are all of fairly consistent quality, whereas Gaia's items fluctuate in pixel quality, with a tendency of the better items ending up as donation items or cash shop items.

That's true. I think I'm just worried because I haven't like how other sites have handled their cash shops. Mene will probably do a much better job, so I shouldn't be fretting about it.

I think twice a month CI's would make them a little less special.
I know I get excited to see the new offerings at the beginning of the month.
But don't know if I can afford to do this twice a month here. Especially since I
donate to other sites as well.
