Umay stopped bouncing but Tyson was quivering with anticipation. Finally Hazel got up and said, "you can go out-" she didn't have to finish, they had already left. "Oh alright."

Shadow chuckled a little bit "kids will be kids" he said as he looked at Hazel. Then went outside to watch them

Ben was outside talking to Amber when the kids came outside

Celest was sniffing a bug, Tyson was wrestling with Umay, it was what they had been waiting for. Hazel laughed and got outside. "Wow." she said. It was the end of summer, so everything was so green!

Shadow smiled at the pups then looked at Hazel "it is beautiful out"

Ben smiled and walked over to celest, Tyson and Umay and told them the bounders of there home.

"No boundries! we just play!" Tyson objected. "I like it here! it's prettyful!" Umay agreed.

Ben looked at Tyson "you need bounderies or else we might lose you."

Shadow nodded "yes and we dont want to lose you."

Amber smiled at Umay "yes it is prettyful here, it is the perfect place to raise you three"

Hazel smiled. They were all so nice the her cubs! "Awwwww, I wanna go explore!" Tyson wailed. The other two nodded. "Please??????"

Shadow sighed a little and smiled at them "okay, I will take you out to go explore"

Amber smiled "I will come too"

"Yay!!!!!" the all howled and raced into the woods. Hazel laughed. "You better hurry up. They'll make it to the bears if you don't!"

Shadow laughed a little "yay, We will be back before dark" he siad as amber and him raced off after them.

"Ok, see ya!" she said.

Tyson and the others had gone soo far! "Wow! I like this stream!" Celest said. "Let's catch fishies!" Umay proposed. "As the leader, I make decisions." Tyson said. "Go ahead." "Who died and made you Alpha?" Celest retorted. "I'm naturally the leader, I'm the oldest!" Tyson said. "No, Celest is!" said Umay.

Shadow was in the bushes when he heard them. He smerked and went over to Tyson "if you want to be a leader you have to respect others and let them suggest things and no your not the leader, not yet that is, so stay close to me and amber."

Amber nodded followeing him

Tyson jumped when he saw Shadow sneak up on him. "You can't boss me 'round!" he protested. Umay shyly walked up and said, "Alpha person, what's that thing in your eye?" "Yeah!" Celest and Tyson said.

Shadow smiled at the little one "you dont have to call me Alpha person, you can call me shadow" he siad iwth a smile "and it is just how I am, I always have had this look"

"Ok Alpha person, Well then, how come we don't have that look?" Umay asked. Tyson said, "I'm sure I could get that thing in my eye, no problem!" "Show us then!" Celest said. "Well...... um, it's going to take me a sec...." she started scrunching up his face.

Shadow chuckled a little bit "it is something that cac only be gained by some people when they are born, but it is soemthing that you should not want. It has cause me much pain and lonlyness"

"But why don't we have it??? your our father!" Umay, Celest and Tyson asked together.

Shadow felt gulty for not telling them the truth but yet smiled "maybe you will get it when your older" he siad lieing so that they would not dig deeper

"Hmm. Okay!!!!" Tyson liked that explanation. "Let's go swimming!" "Yeah!!" They jumped into the river. "Wheeeee!"

Shadow smiled and watched them swim when he smelled something and turned to Amber. She nodded conferming that he smelled a bear comeing towards them. "kids time to go" amber siad trying to sound calm but was frantic because the sent was close to them. Shadow looked around making sure that the bears were not too close

"Awwww." They protested. "We wanna fish!" Umay said. "I'm gonna get the biggest!" Tyson said. "No your not!" Reluctantly they got out of the water.

Amber smiled when they got out of the water "this way children" she siad going off in the oppodite direction of the sent

Shadow watched them go and made sure that nothing was coming towards them. But that was when a bear came crashing out of the forest towards them. Shadow growled at it trying to get it's attention away from the kids

Celest's ears twitched. "did you hear something?" she asked her siblings, low enough so Amber wouldn't hear. "Yeah, where's Alpha Person?" Umay asked. "Let's go find out!" Tyson proposed. They quietly dashed of in the direction of the sound.

Amber cursed under her breath when they ddashed away and followed them

Shadow was attacking the bear trying to get it to stop following the childrens sent. THe bear was thrashing back and forth trying to get Shadow off of him

Tyson was the first to see the bear. "hey! You guys! Come look at this!!!!" Umay and Celest were soon beside him under the bush. "Wow! Look at Alpha go!" "What is that, Celest?" "I think it's what Mama calls a bear." "Woah." "I wanna fight too!" Tyson announced. "Tyson!" Umay and Celest protested, but he was soon out there, and he asked, "Alpha person, can I fight too?"
