"Maybe we can teach Alex wolf." Hazel suggested. "The pups would want to talk to him"

Shadow smiled "yay maybe we could." he said and turned to the boy "Do. You. Want. to. learn. wolf?" the boy looked at him surprised and smiled "yes I would"

Umay came running back with Tyson and Celest. "See?! He can talk human!!!" she said pointing at him. Hazel laughed as they all jumped up in him, wondering if he was going to sprout wings next.

Alex laughed when he saw the little wolves jump onto shadow/

Shadow laughed and looked at them. "little ones, I would like you to met Alex" he said with a smile

"He has a name?" Tyson asked, amazed. "Wow! Hi Alex!" Celest and Umay said, sitting in front of him.

Shadow smiled "yes he does, all humans have names." he said to Tsyon with a smile then looked at Alex "This. Is. Celest. This. Is Umay. This. is. Tyson." shadow siad in english and pointed to each one as he said there names

"Wow!" Celest said. "We wanna learn!!!!!!!!!"

Shadow smiled at them "it is very hard to learn and so far I am the only wolf who had learnd there language." he said with a smile

Alex looked at them and barked "hello" he said in wolf

"Ahh!" They jumped. "I think I'm dreaming." Celest said. "he just barked at us!"

Shadow chuckled "humans are very smart and can learn many languages if they take the time to listen and learn."

Alex looked at them "Hello Shadow" he barked in wolf

"Hee hee! He knows your name!" Umay could not get enough of this human. She jumped up into his arms. "Say my name!" she squealed.

Alex was surpried by Umay but smiled and petted her head. "Hello Umay" he managed to say

Shadow smiled "he is a quick learner but we have to teach him how to understand us."

Hazel noticed how thin the boy looked. "I'm going to get the poor thing some food! Honestly Shadow, can't you think of anything these days?" she said, running off into the woods.

Alex smiled at them and petted Celest gently.

shadow watched Hazel go and then wondered why the boy had been driven out of its town

Celest rubbed her head against the boy's hand. Tyson pulled on his shirt so that he would sit down.

Alex smiled and sat down. He then used his other hand to pet Tyson

Shadow smiled at Tyson and the others. "so how are you likeing be near a human?"

"He's cool!" Umay said, jumping up and licking Alex's face. Tyson and Celest didn't say anything, they just kept rubbing at his hands.

Alex got a littl bit scared when Umay jumped up at him but quickly that fear melted when she started to lick him and he started to laugh

Shadow smiled at them and watched.

Hazel came back with a rabbit and shooed the cubs away. "I 'm not sure if you understand me, but here." she said, placing it in front of him.

Alen had understoon the word here but he just looked at the rabbit. He never ate raw meat and didn't plan on it. "sorry but I dont eat raw meat" he siad as he looked at Hazel.

Shadow looked at Hazel "I will be right back, I know what humans like to eat since they dont eat raw meat" he said and ran outside.

"What you mean, 'raw'?" Umay asked. She went and took a bite out of it. "See?" "Umay!"

shadow soon came back with a moss pouch filled with berrys. he layed it down ont the floor and looked at Umay and Hazel "humans have to cook there meat food over fire." he said with a smile

Alex smiled when he saw the berrys and started to eat then.

"Ahh!" Celest didn't like fire, it killed living things.

Shadow smiled at celest then looked at Alex "why. where. others. chaseing. you?" he asked since he really wanted to know

Alex stoped eating and looked down sadly "they think I am a changinling since I stoped them from killing off someother wolf pack sohey thought I would bring them misfortune so they tryed to kill me."

"Yucky!" Umay and Tyson said. Umay went over and licked his hand, it seemed like he was getting sad again. "Live.....with.....us?" she said slowly, half to Shadow.
